Gary and his team are miracle workers!!! They were able to get us in, fix our issue, better than fair cost and saved our trip! Definitely, recommend them.

Once again I found myself in a situation that required immediate repairs to my RV. Gary at Whitney’s RV was fantastic — easy to work with given the complicated circumstances of the damage caused by a blown tire. The repairs were done within a day and were done perfectly. I have and will continue to recommend Whitney’s to my friends.

I’ve been a long time customer of Whitney’s paying their high prices for years. Not anymore. I will never go back. Gary has ruined the business reputation.
When you pay a higher price you expect good quality workmanship. I had Gary do a complete check of my RV prior to a long road trip. The cost was almost $ 1,500. On the way out of town, we found ourselves in Las Vegas with out power. It turns out the main cable to the battery fell off during the drive. Gary said they never touched the battery cables. Really? $ 1,500 worth of work and you never looked at my batteries. NEVER AGAIN.

I wish we had looked at Unilocal prior to taking our RV here. We took our motorhome in for a transmission flush and a few other things. They called us when it was ready and told us the bill had come out to $ 650. When my husband arrived to pick it up the bill had increased to $ 1200 and there were still parts that had not even arrived yet. When my husband confronted him about the drastic increase the guy turned his back and wouldn’t even acknowledge him. Total crooks. Never again.

This guy is a crook. Unfortunately for Motorhome repairs, your selection in east Ventura County is small. But, stay away from this place and the owner. He will keep adding on to your bill increments at a time and keep your vehicle as long as possibly for repairs. I took my MH to another repair place in Ventura after leaving Whitney because he said it needed this and that… All lies.
75% of the repairs Whitney noted we’re not necessary. Crooked it what I d call this business. I m surprised he is still in business. As for smog checks, any smog check station will check your MH. I went to the place in Moorpark and it was fine. All RV ers BEWARE!!!

I hope this review stays on Whitney’s Auto & RV Care Center’s page because it seems that the only reviews that have stayed on are the not so favorable ones. I don’t understand why the six or so really great reviews for Whitney’s have been filtered and taken off this page. If u would like to read some great reviews you will have to scroll down to the small little word «Filtered» to see them. Do I sound bitter? Well yes we are, wouldn’t you be too. Why does a «program» get to pick and choose what stays on and what goes to filter on your page?
With all that being said, I hope everyone who comes to visit this page to read the reviews will come by and see for themselves that Whitney’s is a reputable, third generation family owned and operating business who care about your needs.

This place puts out coupons for their smog check, you fail and he won’t re-​test it for free unless he does the repairs. Don’t go here!

The owner purposely runs the smog check as a final report and not as a pre-​inspection do that when you fail you have to use him to do the «repairs». I went in there with a perfectly good engine bought my Rv from Conejo RV and it had passed the Smog check 2 years ago. And all of a sudden the system is «tampered» with and fails terribly and it’s going to cost $ 750 to diagnose. Don’t go there! Save yourself time money and a big headache!!!
