Nearest location to have my smog checked, so I decided to have it done here. I was first in line and the gentleman took me immediately and even offered me $ 15 off for my first time doing business here! I was still writing this review when he gave me the invoice to sign and pay… that’s what I call service! Not even 20 minutes, he was already done, WOW!!! For now on, every two years, I’ll be doing my part in keeping California’s air clean with the help of this place! Highly recommended!

I feel so comfortable here! I always feel like Jiffy Lube is so cold and they were so friendly. I got to stay in my own car and do stuff on my phone. They were fast. They double checked things before I left to make sure caps were on and I just really like this place

They always check over all the details and make sure we are taken care of. Quick and easy to use, while you take care of things staying inside of my vehicle.

Decided to try them out because of the terrible upsell they do at Jiffy Lube. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. They told me I needed new air filters and I said I would take care of it myself, and that was the end of it. No hoopla of them trying to convince me to get it done there. Extremely friendly

I had been to their first street location, and although the job was done fast and efficiently, I didn’t really care for the customer service. I received a coupon in the mail and needed an oil change badly, so I thought i’d give their other location a try. Boy am I glad I did! There were two men who worked on my car and had me in and out in probably 20 minutes. They were both friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable about their craft. I watched them the entire time and they simply did their job in an efficient manner. Not once did they try to sell me on something, or add in fees as some other reviews mention. I will definitely be coming back here!

This has been the only shop to change my oil for the past 3 years. One day, I noticed a leak in my driveway. I jacked up my car to examine it. The leak was coming from the oil drain plug. I figured it needed a new sealing washer. When I removed the bolt, I noticed a hard epoxy-​like sealant crusted around the bolt. I cleaned it off and replaced the bolt. It was leaking worse because the bolt had been stripped. I was not notified by the shop about any problems with my oil pan during any of my visits. The shop has responded that they do not use «epoxy». But evidently they use some crusty sealant and and they will not tell you about problems. Rather they make excuses and deny wrongdoing.

I understand that sometimes parts for different cars cost more. What I don’t understand is why I was told I have a «special» oil filter when no other oil change place has ever told me that or charged extra for my type of car. The people here were super nice, and I could see that they were at least checking things because I was in the car to witness it. My husband came here and had a good experience, I did not. I don’t see why I would pay 65 dollars here for the same services I could get elsewhere for 25. I thought beforehand that they actually tuned everything up, but they really just looked at stuff and said «Yep that’s good.» I was willing to pay 45 so I could sit in the car and not have to wait 45 min like I do at other places, but 65 is ridiculous. One time thing for me!

I’ve always received great service here at a reasonable price for both my 4×4 Jeep and Toyota. Staff is knowledgable and courteous. Service is efficient and quick. Had a bad experience at Jiffy Lube down the street about ten years ago and started going here instead… never looked back. I like the free oil change card after 10 or 12 visits (can’t remember the exact number). Never had an issue in a decade of steady oil changes for both cars! Keep it up!

Literally just got my oil changed, and I definitely recommend this place. In and out and never got out of my car. Best place I’ve gotten an oil change at.

Took my wife’s car here a few times. First I had to replace the drain plug because the socket or wrench they used was too big and they stripped it and then used some vise grip pliers to get the work done. No big deal I think it was a less than $ 5 to replace. Earlier this month they tightened the drain plug way too tight and stripped the threads in the oil pan. It was really awesome they didn’t even say anything and the way I found out about it was when I parked my car in my driveway and backed out I had about a 1 foot puddle of oil. Ended up costing me over $ 75.00 when I had to take it somewhere else to get fixed correctly.
UPDATE:
Mr. Haugh contacted me and stated he wanted to make it right. I gave him the invoice for the repair. After numerous emails back and forth he accused me of doing the damage myself and basically called me a liar. The customer service at this place is terrible! He offered me a gift certificate for a free oil change but I declined as I don’t plan on coming back to Xpress Lube. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE.

Don’t listen to the dude who went there from Jiffy Lube. Xpress Lube was empty because they are dishonest, I purchased a Groupon for an oil change for about $ 22, which I thought was a great deal. I have a 2014 Chevy 4 cylinder. This thing is so small I could push it home from work. It probably has one quart of oil in it lol. I went to the facility on 1^st Street and after 15 minutes in their bay the tech comes out and tells me they don’t have my filter and I have to drive to the one on LA Avenue. OK, not so far, but what a hassle, and why did it take him 15 minutes to figure that out (by the way, they were empty also hmmmm). I get to the facility on LA and Tapo and, again, after 15 minutes, the rep comes out and tells me my filter is «special» and would require an up-​charge of $ 9.95. So after I was done it cost me almost $ 35. That’s still a pretty good price for an oil change, but not so much better than anyone else, in fact Walmart charges the same without the con job or the gimmicks, and they won’t try to sell you wipers, air filters, new engines, whatever. Don’t trust these guys. They aren’t honest.

Just wanted to Thank Tom for helping resolve this problem. Thanks again Tom for all you help.

They call it XpressLube because they want to scam you and get you out of there as fast as they can. These dudes wanted 90 bucks for a basic oil change. They said the oil for my car costs more and added in all these random fees so they could charge me an extra 45 dollars from their advertised price when the difference in parts is only $ 10. So, what they’re basically saying is it costs $ 35 worth of labor for the worker to reach over and grab a different bottle of oil. If they are this dishonest about charging you, would you want to trust them with your car? I went to another spot and got my oil changed, car washed and waxed with interior cleaning all for less than what XpressLube wanted to take from me.
Edit: in response to his comment. The difference in parts for conventional oil and the synthetic blend 0w20 oil my car requires is only about 10 dollars for 5 quarts not 45 dollars you Unilocalers can look it up for yourself. XpressLube was just trying to squeeze as much money as they could from me. I understand running a business requires you to turn a profit, but what you guys are doing is straight up scamming people. When I told the guy trying to rip me off that even the dealership quoted me a lower price, he said rudely, «Well you should get it done there then.» Almost as if he was mad I knew he was trying to scam me. Will tell all my friends and family to not go here.

Great service. I was next door at Jiffy Lube and told I’d have an hour wait. Went to Xpress Lube and drove right in. The attendants were excellent and very efficient. I would definitely return to this place.

This 1 star review by Joe D is crazy!!! I used to go to jiffy lube for their «$ 19.95» oil change only I never spent $ 19.95 It’s a total bait and switch!!! My last experience with jiffy lube sounded something like this…
Me «I’d like you $ 19.95 oil change»
jiffy lube «Ok, did you want us to actually change the oil for you?»
Me «yes sir, that’s why I’m here»
jiffy lube «Ok, that’s an extra $ 20»
Me «O…K»
jiffy lube «Did you want the oil that’s designed for your car or will any bottle do?»
Me «No I’d like the one for my car.»
jiffy lube «will do sir, that be a sorting fee of 15.95. Sir is your car green?
Me «yes, it is»
jiffy lube «OK sir that will be another $ 32.50, typically we don’t service green cars on odd numbered days»
You get the idea…5 dollars here, 20 dollars there next thing you know you spending close to a $ 100. Not to mention the fact that they take 40 – 50 minutes to do the job!
First of all, Pulling into Xpress lube is awesome, you feel like a NASCAR driver. You never have to get out of your car, guy walks up to your window and says «How can I help you today sir» I need an oil change «No problem sir we’ll have you in and out of here in 15 minutes tops»
Next thing you know the hood is up, oil & air filter are changed and some guy is washing your windows! Plus I got four new tires and some gas for the final 23 laps, don’t blink or you’ll miss it… Okay maybe that last part isn’t true but that’s what it felt like. It’s not just an oil change, it’s an experience.
I’ve sent my mom, my aunt and my wife there and all have commented on the professional, kind and courteous service they
received. There is not better complement I can give to a business than to say Thank you for taking care of me and my family.

I like the convenience of driving my car into the bay and sit comfortably in my vehicle while they perform the oil service. Much more convenient and speedy to not have to get out of your vehicle, don’t you think? But I’d have to admit that it costs more for an oil change here than the other oil change shops
Yes, $ 42.95 for an oil change, but after 6 services, the seventh is free!
