Best sandwiches in town! It’s mind numbing to me that V&S seems to get the best of Berks every year. People in this area have terrible taste when it come to sandwiches. If you want a real Italian sandwich this is the spot if you want boiled ham coated with red pepper go to V&S for cappicola.

By far the best hoagie in the area and one of the best overall! The rolls are chewy but nice and soft. The meats, cheeses, and veggies are fresh and top quality. We love the classic Italian, classic veggie, and the hot pork hoagies. The chips and root beers are great too. Would love to see a chicken cutlet/broccoli rabe/fresh mozzarella added to the mix ;)

Best subs outside of the immediate Delaware Valley. If you wanna spend an extra dollar or two for amazing quality, then I recommend no place else but here for their hoagies. I hope the people of Berks County open up their wallets a tad bit more and start really giving this place business. It’s worth every penny. I’d love to see this place expand a little bit more!

I haven’t had a bad sandwich yet. The rolls are so crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside. The pork and broccoli rabe is awesome. The sharp provolone they use is outstanding. The rolls are delivered daily(from Philly, I think) and when they run out, the shop closes for the day. It may be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and I’d go out of my way to go to this shop. Yea, it’s that good!

Awesome family run sandwich shop. I always ask for extra meat they seem to go short on meat. But other than that great sandwiches. I always order the Italian classic

Been here a few times — quality is good — the BIG problem is that for $ 9.00 for a Salai sandwich you would think there would be more than 4 pieces of salami on the thing. Rolls are great, peppers are nice touch… but 4 pieces of salami is a JOKE. Shame really — was hoping this was the place I would go every day for lunch.

I got the Italian Ham Hoagie. The flavor of the meats; especially the sharp aged provolone cheese was distinct and sets them apart from other area hoagie shops, however, I’m not a fan of the somewhat hard seeded roll. An Amoroso roll or a simple ATV would be more to my liking, the texture of the roll was a distraction. I want to try a regular hoagie. Definitely quality; definitely a plus.

These sandwiches are amazing! The hoagie rolls are soft and chewy on the inside and have just enough crunch on the outside. Their cheese is freshly sliced by hand and it not just some typical processed stuff. All the meats are fresh also. I will not be getting hoagies anywhere else from now on.

The taste of a Phillie hoagie is totally captured in their sandwiches. Unbelievable rolls either seeded or not are filled with delicious authentic Italian meats and superior provolone. Sinking Spring is well worth a visit.

Got the Philly Italian and the Pork sandwich. I was the only person in there. 2 employees working and it took close to 30 minutes for the food. It was ok, nothing special. For the price I’d just go to V&S. Sad to say they make a better Italian sandwich.
