They screwed up a carry out order by not including all items. When I called to complain, the manager had someone deliver the items to me at work. He also gave me a $ 5 coupon. Mad props for that.

I love Corner Bakery, and this location is a nice one. They have a good variety of food choices for breakfast and lunch, and a lot of healthy options, too. I love that they give you the calorie count on the menus. My favorite aspect is that they serve breakfast all day. Really good breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit as a side if you wish(or their delicious oatmeal) and a number of sandwiches, soups, salads and paninis. I love the chicken pomodori! They have a great selection of pastries, cakes, and cookies too, to satisfy your sweet tooth. I sometimes forget to check in on the app, but when I do, I get free items often. I also love that they email me coupons and invitations to try new things. We love Corner Bakery!

In general Corner Bakery is not at all what it used to be; it’s just okay. This location fits that description. Their baked goods selection is considerably diminished from the years when they were still owned by Lettuce Entertain You and all shops adjoined a Maggiano’s. Without that as comparison, they are an adequate bakery and sandwich shop with good enough soups, though Panera does a better job in this category. ~Peter O.

One of the things I absolutely love about Corner Bakery is that they serve breakfast all day. Most items. The only one that matters is the Anaheim Panini sandwich. I’d have 1 a day if I could. On the days I couldn’t then I’d order the Pesto Cavatappi. The Anaheim Panini sandwich is the most amazing breakfast sandwich ever. It has bacon, eggs, tomato, green onion, avocado, and cheese. I get hungry typing those words. Especially knowing these items are shoved between buttery toasted bread. I just wish it was bigger! The Pesto Cavatappi is a lovely marriage of cheese, pasta, and pesto. If you want to eat your feelings away, order this. I promise it will make everything better. Typically I order everything to go. Dining in is great. I love the rustic, dark-wood atmosphere, and it relaxes me. The customer service I have had at this location is stellar, including a time I wasn’t even mad because they messed up my order. I just politely asked for the right food items. They ended up making it all and letting me have it for free. That doesn’t mean I’ll go back being a difficult customer so I can get free food. I just really thought that was nice. Thanks, Corner Bakery!

Lame. Ordered a simple grilled cheese with bacon on a not particularly busy day. Took 20 minutes. The bacon is like beef jerky. Should’ve steered clear. Super busy mall not very busy restaurant. The latte was passable.

Slow, Slow, Slow! And Expensive! Seems to be no sense of urgency to take orders, or to deliver food. McDonalds they are not! The food is Excellent though, but if your in a hurry forget about coming here. :(

My food and experience there went good. I had no problems with service or my food, maybe because it was a Thursday morning and not throughout the weekend.

A somewhat typical Corner Bakery at this location, and one adjacent to a Maggiano’s. We tried their new flatbread sandwich and had the southwestern chicken and BBQ pork. The chicken sandwich was spicy hot, and I didn’t mind, but it was slightly over the top for the wife. The BBQ pork was ok, but portions are small. They both came with rock hard carrots which we didn’t enjoy and there was no ranch dressing for such either. They were so hard, I think they might have contributed to one of my front teeth crowns cracking a half hour later! I noticed the crowd can come in bunches here, and I suspect a movie from OO Mall might have let out.

As expected the food here was good. However this place is slammed busy on Saturday afternoon and the wait for your food can be up to 30 min… they need to figure out how to run the business because the name brand brings people in but they won’t get repeat customers treating them poorly. Also bathrooms needed major attention. They just seemed to be missing about 5 employees that could have helped this place out. I will avoid this location next time I’m out this way.

I had a three dollar off coupon for a corner combo meal. I personally think the corner combos are a rip off you pay more money do you have a wider selection but it still will equal about the same amount of food had you decide just to stick with a full sandwich, bowl of soup, or salad. This particular location does not have my favorite toasted steak and cheese sandwich. It’s almost like a Philly steak and cheese. I did not feel like any of the other signature sandwiches they offered and never much cared for the Panini’s. Therefore I opted to get a sandwich from the mother selection, the plain and simple turkey on harvest grain. In combination with that I got the Caesar salad. The sandwich was delicious but the Caesar salad was small. I would not opt to get A half salad ever again. I thought it would be a decent size since it wasn’t a chicken Caesar salad and all they were giving me was Romain lettuce. I assumed wrong. The sandwich was of average size, I didn’t expect it to be gigantic or anything like that. if you decide to get a sweet which I have done in the past but not this time, I would suggest the cinnamon roll. It’s very gooey and the frosting is delicious. In conclusion the reason why I really want to write a review about this place is because Nancy is a sweetheart. She made my day and went out of her way to do something very nice for me without my asking. Thank you Nancy.

This place is okay. Atmosphere/Cleanliness is okay. Wait time on a Saturday evening was okay. Chicken Pomodori on Sourdough sandwich with pickle & chips was okay. Spinach Sweet Crisp Salad was okay. Prices are okay(personally, a little high for what you’re getting). Overall, a so-so restaurant, my experience here wasn’t special but wasn’t memorably bad either.

Im giving a 5 star review for corner bakery. I dont know why the mediocre review on this establishment? 1) Place is clean. Staff comes and wipes the tables. You will not see a crumb on the floor. They pick up the plate when you finish the food. 2) Food servers up at the counter are very friendly and courteous. They always ask you for anything and smile all the time. They greet their customers very well. 3) I had taken my parents at the place. My dad enjoyed his meatball linguine. My mother liked her cavatappa. I had an asian chicken salad. Both of my folks had the chai latte while I had a berry smoothie. It was good.

Went to Corner Baker this morning… I forgot why I stopped coming to this location but soon remembered the sloppy food, slow service and horrible coffee. Maybe I came too early?? I won’t make this mistake again. :(

I love this place for breakfast! I am so overwhelmed with all the pastry choices. This time I tried the new blueberry pie with lemon glaze and I’m still thinking about it! The pecan pie was good as well. I ordered the Swiss Oatmeal which was just okay, but I love the raisin sweet crisp that comes with it. My only complaint is that they automatically serve your coffee in a to go cup unless you request otherwise. I was dining in and preferred my coffee in a mug. The coffee was also so hot I couldn’t drink it for 15 minutes!

Fair to middling food and service at this CB location. Today I battled a worker when I tried ordering a combo I’ve had several times before– she claimed it didn’t exist. I asked if she could find someone else to look it up– she refused. Then tried the«I’ll enter it for you, but just this once». Then as she entered it– found what I asked for and half apologized, and blamed it on «I work in catering… I’m not usually at a register». Then why are you here today? And why won’t you ask coworkers for help? The blank stare as I repeatedly told her exactly the order was annoying. Manager– please teach your workers to ask for help when confused and don’t adamantly make claims they aren’t sure of. That just loses customers.

Corner Bakery Corporate might want send someone through here to take a look. This Place needs someone to clean tables and bathrooms. This is crazy — third time I’ve seen it like this. Only been here three times.

Placed order for 1 sandwich and 1 pasta. Was not asked what type of bread for my «plain turkey»…was given harvest rye which has nuts in it and was nearly eaten by my nut allergic 6 year old. That should NOT be the default bread used unless requested, else remove nuts from the recipe! Pasta orders were being cooked by a single team member, and only one pasta order was being cooked at a time. After a 9 minute wait, my pasta order was _started_. When I complained that this was unacceptable, at least 2 other team members reprimanded me that«you’re not the only customer in the store». The associate cooking pasta could clearly be heard from his spot saying«I don’t need this shit.» When a manager was requested, he was summoned from elsewhere outside view(the first time he had been out during my 15 or so minutes waiting), and while he apologized and offered to talk to the staff, he made no other effort to make my experience any more positive. I will not be returning to that location. This location’s quality and attitude reflects poorly on the corner bakery brand!

This is our family stop on Monday nights for dinner after the car show. I give this place a solid 3 rating, because I’m a regular at the Northbrook Court location and if you compare the two, this place could use a little help. We’ll still come back here on Monday nights, because for a family of four we have it down to a $ 20 science. But, aside from the prices, last night’s visit was just annoying: 1) Come on people. The women’s bathrooms are always gross. Maybe it’s because people from the mall come in and use them, but they need to stay clean for us patrons. I hate to think what the men’s restroom looks like. At least have toilet paper in each stall. 2) Why is it that each time my hubby orders a bowl of soup it’s cold or not filled up to the brim? Where’s the rest of the soup? 3) Last night my California Grill was cold and my son’s pasta was hard and stuck together. I attempted to cut the meatball and it almost flew across the table. Ummm, hello? Anybody out there? Just because your manager rectified the situation and came to check on how we were doing, that doesn’t make any of it okay. And, why is it always so dang cold in your restaurant? Always cold! I’m tired of mediocre. And please next time don’t heat up my hubby’s soup in the microwave. Even though you said you didn’t, we know you took it to the one in the back. I don’t trust you!

The management said(in this space) that I should contact them because they wanted to rectify the situation(where they CHEATED us on the salads we got from them.) I filled out their form online to be contacted by them. And guess what! NOTHING happened. So that was lip service for Unilocal but not a sincere attempt to make good on the food we were cheated out of.(I would give NO stars if that were possible.)

We’ve eaten here almost every time we go to Old Orchard. I usually get cheese ravioli and my friend gets the ham and swiss, and we’re always happy. The line can get ridiculously long and that means finding a seat will be a challenge. It’s usually worth it to have someone hunt for a table while you wait in line.
