Food was good that’s why I’m
Giving 4 stars. But the service was SLOW, only two, friendly, but kind of slow cooks; definitely needed one more in there.
The décor and facilities depict anything but «gourmet» and the restrooms are dingy.

Inexpensive and delicious middle eastern food. Great value for their price. I ordered the grape leaves stuffed with rice and meet for $ 4.50 and it brought 6!

Ok I have to admit, I only ever get the Vegetarian Plate. But it is DAMN good. If more people tasted this hummus they would never buy from a store again.

Absolutely amazing middle eastern food! Always freshly cooked right in front of you. Family owned and right when you walk in you can tell how much they truly care about there customers! There chicken kabob & basmati rice is truly delicious I crave it!!! My fiancé loves there lunch special and always gets extra falafel because they are his favorite!

Guy in charge of taking your order is the same guy who cooks what you order. Am i the only one grossed out by this? He touches your card/​takes your cash, then proceeds to cook your order without washing his hands. Don’t touch my pita bread! Food is just OK. $ 6 for a gyro sandwich no fries included.

Good service, attentive to my order. Got it made fresh on the spot. The desert is amazing. Pita didn’t come apart with eating it. The food is traditional. Place was nice and clean. Priced special for lunch!!!

Not only do they have the best chicken shawarma and falafel I’ve ever had! But the staff is the most friendly family you will ever meet! The food is always fresh and ready on time. I’m surprised they aren’t more popular. They’re also great for large orders!

The Avengers had it right about Shawarma — truly AMAZING!!! Wow is pretty much the bulk of what I have to say. I have been coming to this place for a few years. I absolutely love their chicken shawarma plate. That is the holy grail menu item.
I really enjoy the fact it is family owned and they really put a lot of effort into customer service and their food. I have tried their beef shawarma plate, hummus, and falafel. I must say they are all so great as well. This authentic, delicious, and healthy food has so much love put into it. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try Middle Eastern food or someone who enjoys a great meal.

This review should be a 5 star one. I absolutely love their food, service, and location.
A couple of things that turn me off:
1. They are gouging the price of their meals. A Chicken Kabob plate and a small taboule cost me over $ 12.00. This would be okay, except when you actually look at what you get, half the plate is lettuce, the other half is about a cup or less of basmati rice, and about 5 (or was it 4?) pieces of chicken. The chicken and rice are absolutely delicious and juicy. It’s just that for $ 12 I expect some heavy rice and at least half a dozen if not 7 pieces of chicken. It just feels like I could’ve bought the entire meal from the grocery store for less than $ 1.50. Speaking of, I asked how much it would cost to get extra chicken on my plate. Was feeling hungry. They said $ 1.40 per piece of chicken. I could buy a pound or more of chicken breast for $ 1.40. And the labor cost is a bit of a non-​issue. The owners son is the cook. Kind of frustrating. The only reason I have not complained is that I realize they probably HAVE to cut costs and higher their pricing in order to stay afloat. I noticed they don’t have but one non-​family employee (mainly just the family). Because the food is awesome, fine. I’ll walk away knowing I supported a quality dining establishment from going out of business due to the likes of pita inn.
2. The plate I ordered came with tahini (white sauce) on the salad. Like many other reviewers here, I dislike having sauce put on my plate for me. Especially because I’m allergic to this sauce. So I did not eat the salad. I could’ve returned it and asked someone to replace the salad for me, but I thought it wouldn’t even be worth the effort. Why wait for all that when I’m probably not going to touch the lettuce and the lone tomato slice anyways? I came here for the meat. But I’m the exception, not the rule for this. Still, let the customer decide how to sauce up their food.
All in all, I still come here because their food is delicious. But I always leave a tad pissed that I didn’t feel like I got a fair deal.

This place is legit. Great Middle Eastern fare. The falafel is fantastic. It has that perfect combination of crunchy and soft and very flavorful. The shawarma, beef or chicken, is top notch too. The sandwich is the way to go I think. Put some of their homemade hot sauce on top and you are in a place known as shawarma heaven. They also have a fairly priced lunch plate special that you get a little bit of everything (hummus, kufta, chicken shawarma, etc.) its a great introduction to this place. A family run joint to and they are very friendly and helpful. Gourmet Pita lives up to its name and is an unassuming place with big flavors and ample portions. A great stop if you are in the area or going to the AMC theater in the same plaza.

Tried the beef shawarma and it was awful. The rice was good.
So was the bottle of water.

Amazing quality, and always super fresh. This place is a hidden gem, and the owner is super friendly. The gyro is probably one of the best i’ve ever had, and everything is grilled to perfection.

I always get a burger everything on it and it’s probably the best burger I’ve ever had. Always taste the same and everything works so good. The chicken kabob plate is an amazing dinner plate. The hot sauce is he best not to hot.

Still coming here and the food is still really good; prices may have been bumped up a dollar or two but totally worth it. Service is great, the staff is friendly, and the place is clean, sans the tray I see sitting out at a table here and there. I noticed some of the other reviews saying that is small: I have no idea what you’re talking about but anyone that can look at the pictures and say that it’s pretty open here unless they’re really slammed at lunch so… if you think you have been wronged some how… give it another chance.

Big fan of meditterean food so wanted to try this out! It’s not fair but I always compare places like this to pita inn which I feel is the golden standard of this cuisine. Came in tables were dirty, and inside really had no appeal. I got the lunch special for 7 something. It came with a bunch of stuff including hummus which I liked. The pita were warm and soft. Although the rice and meat were a little dry. The sauces were not spicy or had any flavor :(overall decent meal not worth coming back.
