Established in 2015.

Gulf Coast Computer Solutions was formed after 20 years of working as an IT Manager in the local area. During this time I had the opportunity to work with many computer repair companies. The one thing I noticed from all of them is that they did not offer proactive support. Sure they would come out when you called them after many hours of waiting for them. Being a IT Manager I know the importance of proactive support.

Without proper maintenance, windows updates, security updates & monitoring, planning, backup & disaster recovery a business WILL have much more downtime. Most computer repair companies don’t over these services and the companies that they server are experiences much greater money wasting downtime then they need to.

The owner of the company Mike D has been involved in the computer industry for over 20 year. He started out as a technician for a small local community college. After working their for two years the opportunity presented itself for him to become the IT Manager their.

Mike stayed their a total of four years before cash concerns caused the company to shrink and eventually file bankruptcy. Leaving his employment he started his own computer repair company. The company was a break fix company like most computer repair companies now a days.

Mike never liked the idea of the break/​fix mentality and was about to change the company to a proactive MSP company when he received a job offer from a local company needing desperate help.

He decided to accept the offer and worked their for 14 years as the IT Manager. All the while he never gave up his dream of providing superior managed services to local business. As his life stabilized Mike decided to pursue his passions once again.
