Defense Training Institute is owned and operated by Dennis Taboada, a NRA Certified Instructor of the «Refuse to Be a Victim» seminar. These seminars teach easy-​to-​understand methods to avoid dangerous situations and prevent criminal confrontations. In just four hours, you will get the tools you need to develop your own personal safety strategy, including information about the psychology of the criminal mind, home & phone security, automobile & travel security, personal & technological security, self‑defense devices, training options, and more! Seminars are held at Smyrna Community Center (200 Village Green Cir, Smyrna, GA 30 080).

History

Established in 1999.

DTI Trainining has designed, developed and Deployed Safety Management Training to the Department of Defense, NASA and the United States Department of Verterans Affairs.

DTI has Designed and Developed Safety Management Training for Transport Canada Safety Specialists.

DTI has taught The Israeli Defense Force classes for the United States Department of Defense.

DTI partnered in Anti-​Terrorist Training at the Fort Bragg Training Facility in North Carolina.

DTI partnered with Local Police Departments in their Civilian Police Academy.

DTI has a Certified Instructor Cadre by the National Rifle Association, NRA.

Dennis T.

Business Owner

Dennis T. is a Certified Department of Defense Instructor. He has graduated from the staff and Faculty College at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. He is certified in Anti-​terrorist training at the Army School at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He has been certified by the National Rifle Association as an Instructor for Firearm and Crime prevention Training. He has taught classes al over the United States and Internationally. He is a recent graduate of the Smyrna Police Civilian Academy, Smyrna, GA. He is the «Official» Certified Instructor for the NRA «Refuse to be a Victim» Seminar.
