Dr. Swickard is the best eye doctor I have seen, and believe me, I have seen plenty! I won’t get into the boring details– but she is amazing at figuring out how to make my vision perfect, which is not easy after being severely nearsighted, having lasik and stigmatisms. I will agree about the office staff since Mighty left, but they have recently resolved the problem and the new staff is doing everything they can to make your visit a good experience. They were aware that the customer service had deteriorated, which is a good sign. I highly recommend her, especially if you have issues with trying to find contacts that fit properly. She really is amazing.

Dr. Swickard and her office are absolutely fantastic!!! They are very professional and helpful and especially patient with my constant changing and altering prescriptions and types of contacts as I was adjusting to a new style and type. And working with my insurance to make sure I was getting everything I needed. Super friendly and fun. They have my business for life!!!

I really like Dr. Swikard and have had a great experience working with her for my eye care. She is wonderful to talk to, very friendly, and answers as many questions as I feel the need to ask. She also thinks of creative solutions to some issues I have had with my contacts, which I appreciate. I highly recommend her.
I have to agree with some of the other reviews on here, that I have not always had the best experience with one of the ladies in her office who seems to have a bit of an attitude, which is the only reason I am not giving them 5 stars. That being said, overall I have had a very pleasant experience here and highly recommend Dr. Swikard!

This rating is NOT regarding Dr. Swikard, but rather the office staff. Dr. Swikard still remains excellent, but the newer office staff is not as welcoming, efficient, or as knowledgable as the previous office staff (specifically, Mighty– but I’m not sure how she spells her name).
Additionally, when it my glasses failed to come in on time, they had not followed up or noticed until we called (they said about a week, that was 2 weeks later).
When I asked for a copy of my prescriptions they were really resistant to giving it to me at first– saying I didn’t need it if they were ordering the contacts and glasses (I DID NOT order contacts through them) I had to explain that I need it to have my flexible spending account reimburse me. It’s my prescription– it shouldn’t matter the reason, they should give me a copy if I want it regardless. They agreed to email it but by the end of the business day is was not there and I had to have my husband stop by to pick up the prescriptions. I’m not sure why they were unable to get it to me when I was there– I do think they were having some computer trouble (which might have been part of why they were resistant to giving my prescription in the first place, but even if it wasn’t that part wasn’t explained to me).
felt pressured and they were trying to get me to buy a years worth of contacts initially– even when I said that I had still had some at home. However, when Dr. Swikard was out there with me it was a completely different story and everyone was fine with me not ordering any new contacts.

Dr. Swikard has been looking after my eyes and vision for 10 years. Her eye exams are very thorough, she takes time to answer every question clearly, and she goes the extra mile to meet my vision needs exactly. I don’t mind waiting a few minutes when she needs them to give that same extra care to the patient before me.
Mitey in the front office is an absolute joy – she makes the process fun, and listens to what I want and need in glasses. Sherry is also very knowledgeable.
They make an excellent and personable team, and I always leave knowing that my eyes and eye health are in the best of hands. Thank you, ladies!

Very efficient. Professional staff takes great care of patients. Adjust all of my glasses when I need a quick fix (not just the ones purchased from them). Late hours. Close to home. Lots of parking.

I absolutely love Dr. Swikard and the service I receive from the entire team. They are accomodating, helpful and allow for online scheduling of appointments. I can’t recommend them enough!

Dr. Swikard is very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. She explains things thoroughly and always makes sure my eyes get a comfortable fit. When I call with questions about insurance for myself or my son, the staff always has the info on hand, as if they anticipated my call. Definitely recommended for your optometrical needs!

Dr Swikard is excellent! she answers all questions with wonderful patience and expains things very clearly. I’ve been going to her for 5 years + and it’s always a pleasure. Mighty in the front office is very helpful and provides caring, personal service. The whole experience is 100% better than the mall stores like Lenscrafters etc.

Every one who has kids know that going to any doctor’s office ain’t a walk in the park! I got brave this time and booked appointments for all 4 of us and expected a little insanity along the way. Well, I love when I get nicely surprised! The staff was really nice and warm, the doctor didn’t rush and gave extra explanations for everything (yeah we always have tons of qs!)
Most importantly the kids loved it! My son is still thinking of the «cool» equipment he saw in there and asked all sorts of questions of how to become an eye doctor! (fingers crosses he’ll not change his mind).
I highly recommend Dr. Swikard and her office!

I’ve been going to the Eye Gallery now for several years and have always had a great experience! Dr Swikard and Mayri are awesome people and very well versed in what they do! So glad to have them taking care of my eyes!
