Don’t get too excited. Sandwiches are OK, but if you ever went to a deli in the Northeast, you won’t be blown away. It’s real plus is its proximity to the beach. Grab and go. Nice staff, too.

Locally owned. These guys were really good to everyone I saw go in there. It doesn’t matter if you are a tourist who forgot something or a local who needs to find a place to buy a bottle of booze, just make sure you get one of their awesome sandwiches on the way out!

We Read the reviews and gave it a try. Absolutely impressed! Fresh, huge, hand made sandwiches before your eyes. I admit I was like a liquor store in a strip mall this should be interesting… Don’t judge the book by its cover.

Their handmade sandwiches are the best! Lots of meat and fix’ins. They know how to «build» a french roll sandwich, not layered on like Subway or other places, where the stuff falls out when you pick it up. This is one you can eat while driving. Reasonably priced @ $ 5.99 for their 10 speciality sandwiches.

Great local neighborhood deli/c-store. Had the Italian sub which was great with quality meats on a nice roll. Great grab and go inexpensive deli sandwich spot.

This is such a hidden gem in Solana Beach. We always make a trip here when we’re in Solana Beach. I love the egg sandwich on white. There isn’t any place to sit and eat your sandwich so it’s always to-go. This is a little quickie mart type store in a strip mall with the deli in a corner just as you enter the store. They don’t make sandwiches if they aren’t in the mood. We called on Thanksgiving night and they said yes we are open. Great we’ll be right there because we want to get some sandwiches. We walked down and as we were deciding on our sandwiches, the guy said«oh we’re not making sandwiches.» What? Everything was stocked and sitting there in the deli just waiting to be used. We were the only one’s in the store. Oh well, we turned around and left without sandwiches. We might go back once we quit feeling frustrated that they didn’t want to serve us.

This is my local go to spot. The sandwiches are REALLY good, they are so well priced! Get the Spicy Italian! I have bought ice cream, gatorade, even a wine glass for a friend who was staying in the nearby hotel. Here is the best part. All the guys(and a girl) that run this deli are SOINCREDIBLY friendly! I go there at least once a week, they ask how I am doing, how business is for my work, we talk shop and share local information. These guys care! They always have smiles and warm welcomes. This is how you keep a customer coming back! I am in the industry and appreciate every warm smile and«good morning!». Support local!!!

This place is Solana Beach’s best kept secret! They have everything from sunscreen to beer. I come here for the amazing sandwiches and hefty servings at a great price(most around $ 4.95). Beats Subway any day, the ingredients here are much higher quality!

Seriously, best sandwiches around. Better than any of your standard sub shops. Also, you can get your beer there too, and the guys are awesome. Can’t beat it.

This review is just for the sandwiches. Pretty good sandwich for a liquor store/market. We had the California which was turkey, bacon, avocado and cheese with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pepperonis. I wouldn’t go out of our way to come back but if in need of a quick fresh sandwich this is a decent spot.

This is a really convenient convenience store that has the basics for snacks drinks alcohol etc. You can even get a sandwich made to order and hubby loves a tuna fish sandwich from here. They also have a random assortment of pre-made food, including deviled eggs(which I think is kind of bizarre, but whatever). Also, I think it’s funny that they sell porn mags. To each his own, lol.

If you are staying anywhere near Solana, this is the place to get refreshments and snacks on your way back from the beach. Friendly, with a huge selection of wine and spirits. Conveniently located in a strip mall with a lot of parking. Open late.

Amazing sandwiches. I have been working in Solana Beach for over 4 years, but just got turned on to this deli by a coworker. The sandwiches are huge, very tasty, and inexpensive. 5 – 6 bucks. Great food and the employees are always super friendly.

This place has always been an easy choice. It’s a liquor store that also has a deli. Want some interesting beverage that will make you walk funny and say things you wished you hadn’t said the next day. They got it. Want a fresh sandwich with a lot of meat on it. They will fix one up for you fresh. They also carry an assortment of various grocery items that are convenient but are much higher priced. Ie toilet paper for those moments when everybody in the house forgot to buy some and you just need some now.

Best damn sandwiches in North County… for real! They are jam packed with meat and priced at around $ 5.50. I don’t go anywhere else for sandwiches anymore because I find myself always comparing them to Qwik Corner. Qwik Corner is always better!!! Get the italian, the pastrami reuben, The roast beef and turkey, or the california sandwich… their already fat, but make it a double for a couple bucks extra, and youll have trouble wrapping your mouth around all that deliciousness… Yes Yes Yall

This is my go to place when I have less than $ 10 to spend and am hungry for something truly amazing! This place get packed during lunch hour. I usually show up on the weekends or late at night… which btw, closes at 11!!! The sandwiches are huge and packed full of your favorite meat, cheese and veggies. My favorite is a good ol plain roast beef sandwich on a roll with everything on it. I eat half and save the other half for later. Their selection is all of quality and the guys are super cool esp when you keep coming back. Keep in mind that there is a $ 10 minimum for credit card purchases and everything is to go. It’s also fun to watch them make your sandwich… when he’s all done all u want to do is grub down ASAP lol try this place out !!!

My fiancée and I were staying next Door at the Marriott and he went in mid afternoon to grab some beers and a coconut water. The guys refused to sell to him claiming he seemed intoxicated and tried to give him a sobriety test. It’s called being friendly and making small talk, I guess that’s considered strange these days.
