Not only was the owner drunk but he called my friend, a 6 year war veteran, a terrorist’. The grey sweatpants he wore, covered in stains, was as appealing as the smell of the scotch he was drinking. This was probably the most abrasive place I have ever been too. The Barbera tasted just like the mans attitude with the only discern that the horrible after affects were curable with an antacid.

We had lots of fun tasting and the wine was good too. The server was very pleasant to talk too. If you are passing through and would like to visit a nice winery, visit with good people and taste good wine, I recommend this place. :)

Last time I visited this winery the owners were drunk. Not that i’m against a little indulgence however they were not really able to operate their business and they had some neighbor friends that were there and got real sloppy. I would still recommend a visit it’s just been hit or miss. Wines are pretty good across the board.

What a wonderful quaint winery. The quality and value is exceptional! I have visited dozens of wineries throughout California and this is one of the nicest. One of the hostesses Laura was exceptional and very pleasant. I’ll return often.

Had such a wonderful time today at Single Leaf. We had been meaning to try it for a while and regret not going sooner. The staff is friendly and the tasting room is cozy and overlooks the barrel room and scores of ribbon’s which are obviously deserved from the quality of the wine. We highly liked everything we tasted and their Malbec was one of the best around. Actually all the wines were fabulous and we even enjoyed the Cabernet Sav(which is a rarity for us) so much that we had to purchase a bottle. Their prices are also really fair and you can score a nice bottle for under 20 bucks! Also they don’t pour skimpy tastes here so plan on really getting to savor your wine. I think the most important thing to remember with all the vineyards in the Sierra Foothill’s is that this place isn’t Napa. It’s about small family run places that are ran by the owners and not large corporations and people who really take pride in their craft and the small batches that they are putting out. I would have been pleased to enjoy any of their wines again and more than likely will be picking up a wine club membership to them soon.

I have been a fan of Single Leaf for years. We share their wine with others who then want to go to the winery to enjoy the experience of tasting the full range of wines that Single Leaf produces. Scott Miller(winemaker/owner/original zinman) explains the complexities of the wine making process at winery events throughout the year. Pam Miller(owner, winemaker of Pammie’s Cuvee) provides great food and recipes. The wines are priced to fit every budget. Great place to go to enjoy the view and the ambiance of tasting great wines.

The place was not charming at all and the people working there were SO rude and condescending. I went in to enjoy the day with some girl friends and did not enjoy my time at all. The wine was not good, the room was trashy and above all the people working there were horrible! Don’t waste your time stopping here– there are a lot of nice places super close. :(

Good stuff! The people in this place are really nice, knowledgeable and easy going. The wine is pretty great. The best that stood out were the spicy Malbec and the port,(which is fortified with white lightning, impressive.) Chris B. made a comment about«ZinMan.» He would be talking about Perry Creek down the road, not Single Leaf. It’s okay though Chris B, it’s hard to remember where you are after the 3rd or 4th winery ;)

What an awesome place! I had the best time here yesterday while celebrating one of my friend’s birthdays. The owner, Pam Miller was such a fun hostess and we spent over an hour here tasting and visiting. I love places that have a resident dog and Max was also a nice host as he came up and gave us a proper greeting. The only wines I didn’t care for and it wasn’t that I disliked them, just that they weren’t my favorites were the Barbera and the Port. I’m not a port fan so that wasn’t a shocker. Everything else was quite enjoyable. The Zinfandels were a pleasant surprise and even had a little sediment that I wasn’t used to but didn’t mind at all. The Malbec was great and I’m kinda regretful that I didn’t buy some but I know I’ll be back. I’m not a white wine drinker but definitely enjoyed their Viognier which had a nice combination of citrus flavors. They also do a Chardonnay but were out when we visited.

I loved it, I came here for wine tasting about a month ago. Everyone here was super friendly, and knowledgable. The«ZinMan» was a great character. The wine was decicious, and my only issue with this place is I cannot find their wines for sale anywhere! I really want some.
