*IFYOULIKEFLAVOURFULSEASONEDFOODAND A BATHROOMTOWASHYOURHANDSAFTERMESSYWINGS, THISPLACEISNOTFORYOU* I have to say that the wings tasted like they didnt bother to prep and season them at all. The wings tased like they were pulled straight from a bag, dusted with flour, fried, doused in buffalo sauce and served. That may work for some with a bland palate but it did not work for me at all. Whats worse is that after my lunch I needed to wash my hads, use the bathroom and leave. There was no bathroom for patrons to use. A restaurant that serves messy food shoud at least have a faucet for customers as a courtesy. I wouldnt bother going to this restaurant again.

Very good wings. Stopped by on a trip back home from Somerville. Large selection. Employee let me mix and match my boneless wing selection. Decent prices. Delicious wings that defiantly had a subtle Asian flair. They were bumping old school three 6 mafia and old school southern hip hop the entire time I ate in the dinning room. Only complaints are that there was no restroom and the dining could have been cleaner. Ill be sure to stop by again when I’m in the area.

We had ordered a groupon here to try it out, as we love wings. We got an order of «Rochester» wings(I used to live there and thus they got points from the get go) and that sauce is a zesty honey mustard which is quite tasty(more sweet than spicy). We also got 2 sides, curly fries and onion rings. Lots of places around here have sub-par onion rings, but these were of the typical quality with superior portions. We ordered to go, the dining area is kind of small and the inside seating would have been too hot for us on the humid day. The man who rang us up was friendly, customers should bear in mind that A. Groupons will still be rung up for tax and B. charge card orders under $ 8 get knocked for $.50. The fee was nominal and I didn’t mind(these groupons tend to hit the restaurants where it hurts, some people can be a jerk over the great deals they are getting). Would definitely recommend for wing aficionados.

Amazing wings, the Rochester and honey BBQ sauce are my favorite! And they have Korean food, equally amazing! Not to mention the owner is so friendly, and everything is so cheap! Definitely coming here again and again and again!

There is a grilled chicken lunch special I was not allowed to order because it «takes time.» Then I ordered another pork/rice dish in its place and was told 15 minutes. Ok… so why couldnt I wait the 15 minutes for the grilled chicken? Then, my order was just under $ 8, and there is an $ 8 card minimum, so I threw on an extra coke to get it above the $ 8. My experience was extremely underwhelming. Food was nothing special. I will skip it next time.

The FRIENDLIEST guy ever! I’ve been going here a lot recently because they’re one of few places that offer unbattered wings, and it’s always tasty, juicy, and lots of sauce choices. One time they made an error in my order and the owner personally delivered a correct order to my house at no charge, and was so apologetc. He’s always very friendly when you go in.

Not only do they do wings, they do Korean bbq!!! 5 different sizes of bone in wings with 14 different flavors. Wings are always fried hard and served hot. Delivery is usually quick unless you’re ordering during a Super Bowl like event — then, good luck. Plump wings with plenty of meat. Garlic Parmesan and honey glazed are a great combination. Rice boxes($ 5.99) include kimchi for an extra dollar and are served with sticky rice. Choose either Korean spicy pork or Korean beef. Grilled garlic Parmesan chicken is also available. The spicy pork provides an ample amount of thin sliced marinated pork in a soy garlic pepper marinade — spicy but very manageable. The kimchi is crisp and has an extra bit of spice kick to it. I have yet to sample the Korean and Japanese style fried chicken wings. Salads, hamburgers and wraps/sandwiches also appear on the menu. Quick and polite service. A very nice redesign of the menu.

As a huge fan of Wings Over and wings in general I sprung for the Groupon to this place to check it out. Never heard of it and some of the reviews were good, and some were negative. When I walked up to the place I was a little surprised. It didn’t really stand out much and there were no lights on and it looked closed. But we opened the door and went in. The place is very small with just a few tables and small counter to order. The woman wasn’t very welcoming when we approached the counter. We just stood there and looked at the menu. The menu dims and it can be hard to see when the sun is bright and reflecting,. We got the 20 boneless Honey BBQ wings and 2 sides and 2 sodas Groupon deal. Not as many sauce options as other wings joints, but the basics. We intended to eat there since we took seats and settled in. But the lady never asked us if we wanted to do take out or dine in. When the order was ready it was all bagged up for take out. Felt like they were taken back that we wanted to sit down and eat our food. As they only gave us 1 plastic fork/knife and it took a few minutes for another set. No other condiments are provided or offered and upon opening the wings, no blue cheese and just 2 rinky dinky ketchup packets. The staff was mostly not visible and if we wanted something it seemed like it would take forever and be a nuisance. The wings itself were pretty bland and tasteless. There was so crispness to it and seemed very chewy and fatty. Almost like cheap chines takeout. Seemed like the cook just didn’t want take the time to make a good product. The sides were good, the twisty fries and regular crinkle cut fries were hot fresh and crispy. But the wings were a big let down. I’ll probably never visit again, which isn’t hard living in Watertown and having other options near by and if i’m in the Somerville area. So do yourself a favor and skip this joint. They might of had good wings at some point but now it’s a sorry attempt at being a wing joint. Stick to Wings Over where you get a great product each trip.

I am deeply saddened to say that this place has taken a turn for the worst. We placed an order for pick up of a jumbo boneless buffalo wing, a large plain boneless and a large garlic parm boneless. What a disappointment. The large is barely the size of a small and the jumbo is now barely the size of a large. The new owners are completely ruining a Somerville icon. They also have stopped giving celery and bread. and their prices have increased. So now you are getting much less food any paying more GREAT! We will never go back here again. Looks like it’s Eat at Jumbo’s from now on…

The wings were delicious, the service was not. Took 2.5 hours for my order of 20 wings to be delivered, and I live less than a mile away.

I must say I was a little nervous here after walking in and finding an all asian staff. But yup… I was wrong on all platforms here. Ordered a western Burger and fries. It came to just under 10 bucks so the price wasn’t terrible. The burger was perfectly cooked, the BBQ sauce tasty and the fries VERY good. Some of the best fries I’ve had in somerville.(Ever had Pier Fries at Old Orchard Beach? Almost as good-almost). You can order on foodler for discounts here:

How is it that America is made up of people from everywhere and we still have joe f saying he is nervous because the staff is all Asian??? Dude, everyone is from somewhere. There are Asians that are AMERICAN! Anyway, I love the wings here. Just ate garlic parm as well as honey BBQ and both were delicious. I’ll be back.

The rating: Two stars, and I’m being generous here, especially since you ruined the dining portion of my «eat wings and watch a bunch of guys try to kill each other» night. Why we chose to eat here: What goes better with a UFC fight night than some wings and fries? Nothing. Add to that the fact that I haven’t been to Wing Works in a long time, Eat at Jumbos was unfortunately closed due to mechanical problems and I have been boycotting Wings Over Somerville for months and the choice was simple. The food: As I said it has been a while and either my rose colored glasses made me think Wing Works was better than it is or the passage of time has not been good to the quality of the food. To preface, everything was luke warm to cold, which was baffling since they beat there estimated delivery time by almost a full fifteen minutes. I guess we will start with the highlights. The hot buffalo wings were the best thing we got. They were just spicy enough and were both juicy an flavorful. The blue cheese was very thin for some reason however, and I just ended up using some ranch dressing I had kicking around the house. The fries were also good. These were the seasoned twister fries, and they were indeed seasoned and twisty. Cooked well but unfortunately room temp fries are never all that great. Onion rings were also pretty good, still crunchy, but very greasy to my taste. So those were the highlights, now for the lowlights. We can start with my creamy garlic Parmesan chicken sandwich. First off, I understand that they do everything by weight here so when it says I get 8 oz of chicken I know not to expect a humongous sandwich but by the same token why do you put 8 oz of chicken on half an Italian loaf. Now you just look cheap. I have a few nuggets of chicken swimming in a sea of carbs. I literally threw away half the bread by the time I was done shifting the chicken into what would be a decently filled sandwich, not to mention the fact the chicken was under sauced and overcooked. And the lettuce was a joke as it was two pieces of the most pitiful wilted lettuce I have ever seen. I know the lettuce is far from the star, but it looked like it came from the trash can not a fresh head of lettuce or even a cooler tray, at that point why even bother. Sarah ordered a medium chicken tender with half buffalo and half honey BBQ. She was charged to split sauce, then we had to pay even more if she wanted blue cheese with her buffalo tenders(see my Jimbo’s review for my thoughts on buffalo and blue cheese). Her tenders suffered from the same under saucing and over cooking as my sandwich, so yeah, not good. Finally we got a pizza roll and a steak and cheese roll. Both were meh and we each preferred a different roll. The we’re basically egg rolls filled with mush, so I can forgive the pizza roll more than the steak and cheese, since pizza sauce and cheese are mush but steak and cheese should have, I don’t know, maybe identifiable pieces of chopped steak. Again, not good. The service: We ordered through Foodler and as stated before it arrived pretty early yet still mysteriously cold. Maybe he had his car air conditioner blasting or maybe he was holding our bag out the window as he drove, the world will never know. The final rundown: Honestly as long as Jumbo’s doesn’t make a habit of having mechanical issues, I can’t imagine ever going back to Wing Works again.

I have a love-hate relationship with Wing Works. On the one hand, I love fresh, boneless chicken strips coated in tangy, delicious, honey barbeque sauce.(Mmmm.) On the other hand, I really enjoy fitting into my pants, and Wing Works presents a serious impediment to that plan. I’ve ordered from Wing Works many, many times and have never been disappointed. While wings are definitely what they do best, I’ve also gotten some pretty decent burgers on occasion. The chili cheese fries aren’t life-changing, but they hit the spot when you’re hangry and craving cheesy carbohydrates. The jalapeño bites, breaded mushrooms, and zucchini slices are all tasty side items to go with an order of wings. Andddd now I’m hungry for hot wings. Curses.

I live 10 min away and had never been… so I was excited when I saw a $ 30 Living Social for $ 15! To give a bit of background, I’m a Western NY-er(Rochester) so I have high standards for wings; I’m the guy who can’t help ordering Buffalo wings but(almost) always complains that«they’re good… but not BUFFALO wings.» These are not Buffalo wings. But the flavor’s not bad. Their«Rochester» wings aren’t bad either, but I have no idea where the name came from… don’t expect anything like what you’d get from Anchor, Acme, Salvatores, or even Dinosaur or Colombini’s. Altogether though, I’d say that Wing Works makes a solid wing; I’d even put them in my personal top-10 for non-Western NY establishments.(As noted below though… the ribs suck, even the one’s with bones.) Minus –1 star for seeming to offer an authentic W. NY wing experience on your website. Wing’s and the Bills are all we have left. Your wanna-be Buffalo(see what I mean? Can you imagine saying that in any other circumstance?) wings disappoint me. Minus another BIG star for treating me rudely for using a Living Social coupon. If it pains you to honor the voucher, don’t offer the deal in the first place. Treating your hopefully-new customer poorly negates whatever value you may hope to gain from the promotion. No special circumstances — 1) the«Living Social» menu was limited. No restrictions are noted on the voucher, but it can’t be used for Korean BBQ or Korean crispy fried chicken. 2) Using the voucher put me at the end of the queue(45 minute wait for wings? WTF?) 3) Asking that I tip. I ordered more than $ 30, and yes I did tip… but don’t ask me. It’s a take-out place. Know thyself.

I’m not a wing expert by any means, but I know that there are two things my wings absolutely must be: 1. in-bone 2. dripping in sauce These wings fit the bill. As a bonus, the breading is nice and crispy, which keeps the wings from getting soggy in the sauce. My husband had the spicy BBQ, which was tasty(but not all that spicy), and I had the honey glaze which was deliciously sweet with a little kick. I was a little disappointed by the place itself. This is definitely a take-out/delivery establishment. When we asked for a couple glasses of tap water, the guy kind of made a face… but then he gave us two cups and a bottle of water for free! We insisted that we’d pay for the bottle but he refused. I thought that was really nice of him.

Have I ever mentioned how much I loooooovvvvvveeeeee wings? WOAH. Yeah, it is more than wings, it’s ribs, chicken rice platters and CRINKLECUT fries(I heart crinklecut fries!!!) Spicy BBQ Honey BBQ Suicide Those are wing flavors, there are several more. The suicide is what I was most interested in. This West Indian girl loves everything hot, food, weather, hubbie… So I was kinda sad that the suicide needed to be dipped in my own hot sauce at home to make it hot(Matouks) The chicken was good and the chicken rice platter(dijon flavor) was fabulous. I’m not giving up, there is a lot on that menu above the counter that I want to try. Next? The ribs

Once in a while, I crave some wings. This place is convenient and quick. There are probably better places nearby, but I haven’t found them yet. Not a big fan of the garlic parmesan, but the buffalo varieties are pretty good. Onion rings are awesome.

Tonight was a friday night of video games and TV and Wings. This isn’t a place I rave about, or get cravings for, but occasionally its a solid stand in for delivery food. They’ll make you wait an hour generally, so be sure to order well in advance. Tonight I got the Jerk Chicken… it really wasn’t hot at all. It came in a rice bowl, which was really good, and for under 7 bucks. The wings, strips and fingers all tend to be moist, and the batters and sauces are flavorful. Not my first choice, but I always end up enjoying my meals from here.
