Description

Specialties

We founded Charles Creek Vineyard in 2002 with the goal of creating outstanding wines at an exceptional value. Specializing in high quality Chardonnay, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon from great vineyard sources in the Sonoma & Napa valleys, Charles Creek produces wines that are food friendly, fruit driven & easily paired with the courses of a meal. Since its inception we have garnered numerous awards for our groundbreaking approach to crafting wines.

History

Established in 2002.

Owners Gerry and Bill Brinton bought hilltop property in Sonoma years ago, as a place to getaway from San Francisco and raise their sons in the country. They were soon bitten by the wine bug and planted merlot vines on the ranch. An opportunity to work with famed winemaker Kerry Demskey was too great to resist and they launched the winery in 2002.

Charles Creek Vineyard specializes in single vineyard, old-world style wines that offer great value for the amazing quality of the wines. Winners of multiple awards, the wines are available at the tasting room on the sqaure in Sonoma. The tasting room is open 7 days a week from 11 – 6. The wine club, Club Tecolote, allows members to receive wines not available to the public.

Meet the Business Owner

Bill and Gerry B.

Business Owner

Bill is a direct descendent of John Deere and has been raised with the same attitudes about hard work, quality and integrity that make John Deere products so famous.

Bill is instrumental in choosing the vineyards and developing the final blends with all of the wines. The goal has always been to produce well-balanced, fruit forward, approachable wines. Once bottled, the wines are held back before release, allowing our customers to experience wines in their prime.
