History

Established in 1970.

D & G Septic Tank Service was started in Wenham, MA by Dick Durkee. He provided septic and cesspool pumping services to the growing areas around Wenham. After a few years the demand from customers included Septic System installation, trucking, Title 5 inspections and other related services. After time Dick retired passing the business to his son Billy Durkee. Billy worked hard for years serving the customers that watched him grow up in the business. In 2006 D & G Septic Tank Service was sold to Dustin Prieur of Hamilton, a family man with 4 kids, he continues to keep the business to its original mission. I have been in the Septic industry since I was 18, I enjoy helping people with their septic issues, getting people up and running is the best part of the job.

I live in Hamilton with my wife and four kids. I started Preventative Septic in 2004 after working for a local septic company while in college. In 2006 Billy retired and sold me D & G Septic. The idea to keep the two companies separate was to help existing customers, blending the two companies seemed confusing.
