We’ve loved living in South Lake Tahoe for 34 years and want to share.

Lake Tahoe: Where Paradise, Nature and Hospitality Converge.

History

Established in 2011.

Having worked in customer service in our local casino industry for 30 years I wanted to reach out to all of the visitors to our beautiful area, not just those visiting the casino. I found that many people (including locals) didn’t know what was going on in the area, from special events to permanent attractions like hiking, historic areas and much more.

My goal is to create South Lake Tahoe to be where Hospitality, Nature and Paradise converge. There is a lot to learn about and enjoy that is here for everyone to enjoy and it’s free (or almost free). There are also great things to do that have a fee, from great boat rides to enjoying gondola rides, para-sailing, hot air balloons, skiing and more.

Our area is the perfect example of sustainable ecotourism. Nobody can copy what nature and history have given us. I want everyone to experience the Lake Tahoe I know and love and come back for generations to share it with their loved ones.

Meet the Business Owner

Paula P.

Business Owner

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, enjoying skiing in Lake Tahoe from a young age. After graduating Cal Poly, SLO I decided to come to this beautiful area for a summer, and relax before getting on with my career. Little did I know that I’d still be living and loving life in Lake Tahoe 33 years later!

I have raised 4 children. My eldest is 28. a recent college graduate and off to teach English in the country of Georgia, then Japan. My twins are 25, recent college graduates themselves, and living nearby in the Carson Valley. My youngest is 14 and starting her Freshman year at South Tahoe High.

I am Past President of Tahoe Douglas Rotary and past District 5190 Newsletter Editor, Past President and currently on the board of directors for Tahoe Youth and Family Services, working with a non-profit Dawgs on the Run, and enjoy volunteering in my community in many capacities. I feel being connected to a community is the only way to truly experience it, and then able to share it
