Geoff does a fantastic job repairing and tuning my family’s skis and snow boards. He did miracles after last year’s lots-​of-​rocks season. I also purchased a new set of K2 skis from Pyramid Peak for this year’s lots-​of-​great-​snow season and I absolutely love them. Geoff’s demo prices are very reasonable compared to the resorts that are very expensive. Amy, who works at Pyramid Peak, is also extremely customer friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Pyramid Peak!

Very friendly and helpful staff – and lovely dogs to greet you at the door. They have been a wonderful resource for our visiting children and grandchildren who have needed to rent skis and boards during the holiday. Considering that many tahoe businesses are less than friendly (especially during the holiday season), it is a nice change to be treated well!

Probably one of the cheapest rental locations you can get around Tahoe. I rented a snowboard and boots for just 30 $ (24 hour day rentals)! There’s 3 different tiers depending on what kind of board you want, I got the second tier.

My family and I have rented from Pyramid for the past 8+ years on our yearly ski week and have always been happy with their service and friendly and helpful staff. The prices are cheaper then renting at any of the resorts and if you rent for multiple days, they’ll throw in free day. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

BEST PLACE EVER! On Christmas Day I rented equipment for my family and picked up some great goggles. Their entire staff working were all family members, including the two dogs (my kinda place). We were in and out quickly and ready to hit the slopes. I get to the top of the lift, first run of the morning, to find my binding is broke! I didn’t panic. I called the store and spoke with Geoff. He said the bindings were checked and in working order before leaving the store, but said he would drive to the resort with a replacement. I was back on the mountain in no time and enjoyed the day with friends and family. I was so thankful! This is what I call going the extra mile for your customers.

This family owned business has been around for a few decades. If you forget your ski pants and need pants at a very reasonable rental price, stop in here. Very friendly service, excellent rental and wax prices and some adorable dogs to keep you company!

After skiing over some rocky bits around the lake due to the lack of good snow coverage, we dropped off our skis ay Pyramid Peak for some repair work.
They overnighted our service without charging extra. The staff was quite friendly, as were the dogs they had around the shop.
The skis were sharpened to better than factory new, so sharp I accidentally cut my finger on mine. The three days after my service I noticed my skis handled better all over the mountains, even on the icy hardpack.
Would not hesitate to use these guys for any services or rentals in the future.

The gents in here too great care of us this past weekend. They’re very knowledgeable and friendly. I would no doubt come back just for the service.
Package prices can be found on the website, running you between $ 25 to $ 35 for a snowboard and boots package. Snow jumpers and jackets are rentable there too.
+1 for the 2 well behaved dogs in the shop. Overall a great experience.

Great place rent ski equipment in South Lake Tahoe. Definitely cheaper, faster, and friendlier than at the base of the resorts.
We rented skis for two days at Heavenly. The process to rent was super quick — we were in and out with great equipment for three people within 10 minutes or so. The price was relatively cheap (for skiing at least!). We paid $ 40 per person per day for demo (highest quality) skis plus boots and poles. I think it is more like $ 60 at the base of the mountain.
The equipment was so nice that we wanted to buy it on the way out! They weren’t able to sell it to us, but they went above and beyond to help us shop for it online and get a good price. And everyone was friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

Best rentals in Tahoe. Service was top notch. Family run, super friendly, knowledgable staff. Jeff the owner, a former champion alpine ski racer, hooked me up with some killer boards, sharpened my edges, hot wax n buff, full racing tune. Stoked ! This is the place, look no further !
