Tahoe is a pretty interesting area. The surroundings are beautiful and the lake photogenic. I think it is pretty cool that it is a year round recreation area, snow or sun you will find something to do. Be warned, the lake is cold even in summer! There are plenty of lodging options in all price ranges. Food and nightlife are readily available with casinos on the Nevada side. If you rather stay outside and be active you have plenty to choose from as well. A good place for a long weekend where everyone can find something to do and be happy..

Highly recommend it! During off season is also awesome! Avoid low cost hotels they are not worth it. Bathroom leaks and knuckleheads making noise. Stay in good hotel to get some sleep.

I think this review is for Thomas F Regan Memorial City Beach. It locate on the other side of this resident area on Lakeview Ave. Entrance is between residential so go slow.

This place seriously kicks butt! Snow or no snow, lots of fun and beatiful scenery. Another plus is that there is a dog friendly area!!! But the views are really what did it for me and my pups. I will definitely post a few just for your verification. Enjoy!
