We also do custom work and hand sewn carpet installations. History

Established in 1962.

Floortrends, Inc. has been meeting the flooring needs of San Francisco and the Bay Area since 1962. Our estimating staff is made up of installation experts each with over 20 years experience in the field as an installer. Floortrends’ installation teams are «in house» industry trained and board certified professionals.

Floortrends has been my go to carpet company for many years. They give excellent customer service and always work with us on pricing. They are responsive and do a great job every time.

I used this company four years ago through my designer for carpet installation. Since that time the carpet buckled at the seams in two of our larger rooms. Someone came to do an estimate on stretching the carpet and said, «It would cost $ 150/​hour for two guys, and would take up to six hours.» The guys were fine, but they were only here for two hours and charged over $ 600. In addition, a few months after the stretching the carpet has bubbled even more at the seams.
The carpet is very high grade wool.
The carpet we had before this for 20 years never had this problem. I would not recommend Floortrends, Inc. to anyone.

This business is fabulous! They do mostly commercial, but are willing to do some residential. They do great work and are very efficient! Dave Johnson is a great guy to talk to, always very helpful!
