I am extremely happy with the kitchen counters we purchased and had installed by Marjan stone. We worked with Claudia on selecting the quartz we were going to use. The entire process went smoothly and we are delighted with the final product.

We used Marjan Stone for our new countertops in both of our bathrooms – projects that were on the back burner for years and, thankfully, were just recently finished. Marjan did a beautiful job! John helped us select two different countertops for our two bathrooms and outlined a time frame in which the jobs would be completed. Both jobs were completed on schedule, and the installers were extremely efficient, professional, and polite. We are still in awe of how beautiful our bathrooms turned out, and one of the most important decisions was selecting the perfect countertop. Thank you, Marjan!

Asking me to spend more than $ 100 on something is like having major surgery. I say this to warn that I research the crap out of everything before I buy. Unashamedly, I will roam the whole city like a cat in heat just to make sure I am getting the best deal. In the case of looking for a new stone countertop my search included three states. It took a few months, but eventually I came back to Marjan. Robert was informative, but not a pushy sales type. He responded right away to my emails and calls, even gave me his cell number. We got a great deal on materials only, which meant we only paid for what we used and not for the whole slap. The installation was fantastic. I wish I remembered the guys names. They measured several times to make sure my existing counter subsurface and level, making adjustments where needed. I was so impressed I treated the guys to Round Table pizza, but being the professionals they were, they did not want to eat until the job was done. Robert came out to check the work and then he also measured everything. I was happy the installers passed all the quality test, because they were able to enjoy lunch. My counters are beautiful and I would definitely recommend Marjan!

Marjan Stone did an excellent job and I really liked what they did and passed my expectations, they were so organized, paying attention to details, perfect in their measurements and on time. Sham and Sulaiman installed the Granite Countertop and they did the installation flawlessly. I highly recommended Marjan Stone for anyone looking for a perfect countertops with very good prices.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. There customer service is terrible. I dealt with John DeSalvo and it was such a disappointing experience. After proving out several places for my Quartz kitchen counters I decided to us this company because of there positive reviews and there price was equal to everyone else. Once I signed the contract John would take about 3 days to respond to an email and had no interest in working with us. On our scheduled install date, they called me an hour before and said they won’t make it! 1 hour notice l, not ok. Then trying to reschedule with them was a nightmare! They did absolutely nothing to make up for cancelling. If I had to do it over I would go with someone like Amazonia stone.

Fabulous job on a difficult design! We renovated a guest bathroom and decided to use full size granite panels inside the entire large shower. The granite we chose had a large pattern and it was essential that the panels were matched to maximize a «mirror-​image» effect along each wall and the corners. Perfection. Even our contractor was impressed with the skill and workmanship. When people walk into the bathroom they are blown away. Marjan did a great job. So great we’re using them on our master bathroom too!

Thank you Marjan for measuring and installing our beautiful quartz counter top in our remodeled kitchen. The measurements were exact and the installers, Sam and Sham, were meticulous with the nearly invisible seams of the material and the installation was flawless. I visited the Marjan show room 3 times before I committed to a counter top and they were kind enough to let me take one of their floor samples so I could match flooring and back splash tiles. I’m getting ready to do a bathroom remodel and have a large slab of granite from our old kitchen which I’m going to use for the new bath counter top. They’re willing to cut the granite to fit the new cabinet. Voila! Happy customer = Repeat customer!

We just had our 33-​year-​old countertops replaced with beautiful quartz by Marjan Stone as part of a kitchen remodel. There was a delay having to do with the stone breaking during fabrication, but once it was delivered and installed, we are very, very pleased with the result. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the delay.
Initially, we had selected a different color of quartz but because I thought it would be too dark with the wenge cabinets, they were kind enough to let us change to a lighter colored quartz, which turned out to be even more beautiful than expected based on the sample in the showroom. They carry several brands of quartz as well as other countertops. We went with Hanstone Quartz, selected by our remodel contractor.
The workers showed up promptly at 8:00 a.m., and were courteous and respectful. They cleaned up their mess and went over the final inspection with me and my husband to make sure we were happy with the result and to answer any questions we had about care and upkeep, etc.
I highly recommend Marjan Stone for their quartz countertops.

Marjan stone was awesome. My home was flooded by the hot water valve under the kitchen sink while I was at work and my entire ground level was destroyed down to the concrete foundation. I am a hairdresser who doesn’t make the money to pay my mortgage if I’m not at work so I needed people who could rebuild my home while I was at work. Marjan Stone did an amazing job perfectly without me having to miss a minute of work. They were trustworthy (with the lockbox code to my home) and impeccable in communicating every step of the job with me.
They even matched the Home Depot Sale price that came up after I had them give me an estimate, which was an over and above step of customer service and I really appreciated it. Money was very tight as I had no expectations for a kitchen remodel but the 4000 gallons of hot water that flooded my home destroyed everything and I was a wreck. They took good care of me and did not take advantage of me. I wish I could say that about the other companies who repaired my home but I cannot.
Marjan Stone holds themselves to a level of integrity that I wish all businesses did but sadly I found most others don’t. I’m so grateful for Claudia (the sales woman) and her boss (I’m sorry I don’t remember his name but he personally showed me the slabs of granite and helped me make choices that complemented my color scheme much better than I ever could have done on my own)
I would recommend them to anyone doing a granite kitchen countertop for price and quality and customer service and would definitely use them again if I had the need in another home.

Over the years, we used Marjon Stone for condo kitchen counters, bath, family room built– ins and even some small table tops. Excellent work and typical below the price of the alternate bids we get.

My project was real small and I had trouble finding some one to fabricate a counter top for me. Marjan really helped me out. Despite the size of my job I got treated professionally from beginning to end. Besides a big slab yard, they also have a big remnant yard of granite with dozens and dozens of little pieces for little jobs. They also did all the fabricating right there, which is what attracted me initially. Apparently lots of granite guys don’t do their own fabrication they just sell slabs and contract it out. So if a guy like me comes in and wants something special on the small size they really can’t help you. When I told Marjan what I wanted they helped me out in the way I wanted to go. I at first was planning to just have the counter top fabricated and I would do my own install. They were cool with that and gave me a price for that, then priced out what it would be if I wanted to add a backsplash or a sink or trick edging even to do the install. There was no arm twisting just a bid. I ended up adding a sink and having them install it. The actual cost to have them delivery and mount the countertop plus bore the faucet holes was less than if I did it myself. The guys that did the install did the whole job in an hour, which was also faster than I could do it. Plus they cleaned up real nice, which is better than I would do, and my wife told me so. Through the whole process I felt like they really wanted my business and were sympathetic to what I wanted done. I’d use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

Marjan Stone helped us select a beautiful quartz countertop for our kitchen, which we purchased from them, and they also fabricated a marble countertop for our master bath using a remnant slab we sourced at another yard. The initial consultation and measurements went very well.
The fabrication and installation of the marble counter in the master went seamlessly and we were very pleased. They were able work miracles with a less-​than-​perfect slab, and we appreciated these efforts. We knew we took a risk with the slab, and they went above and beyond.
We had debated about choosing quartz over granite for the kitchen, but the Marjan sales manager walked us through the pros and cons very professionally. They will go to great lengths to ensure that the finished product is done correctly.

We can’t say enough good things about Marjan stone. We had looked and looked for a affordable AND professional granite person to finish our kitchen remodel and when we visited Marjan, we knew we have found the right place. We had seen their granite work in a showroom and we were impressed with how well they had matched the seams on the corners, which many places are unable to do! We loved that they had a great selection of colors and that they only charge you for what you use and don’t expect you to buy the whole slab if you didn’t need it. The price was the best we found (forget about the overpriced granite at Home Depot or Lowes!!). They also have their own onsite fabricators, which was important to us. The contractor they used to install our granite was late to arrive and slow to install, but in the end, we didn’t mind because it was just so beautiful! I would definitely recommend (and have!) Marjan to our friends… just wish they weren’t so darn far away now that we live in Escondido and need to get granite for our new bathroom vanity. :-(

When I first went to Marjan Stone to look at their granite, I was greeted by John who showed me all the choices. The gorgeous variety of high quality granite from Brazil was a little intimidating for a first time buyer. John was so helpful and answered all my questions. The granite was cut to perfection and installed to perfection, with an addition to my kitchen bay window that I had not asked for. Just this detail made quite a difference in the overall look of my new kitchen. STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL as well as the best price in town. The granite I chose from Brazil has hundreds of reflective specks that glow at night under kitchen lights. John made a personal visit several times to make sure the job was being done right. I would recommend Marjan Stone
for their quality and efficiency and personal attention to detail and timeliness of installation. Work was completed on March 11, 2013.

We couldn’t be happier with Marjan Stone. We bought a new house in November and had been planning a kitchen remodel for a very long time. We had narrowed down our material choice, a beautiful Quartz (Cambria Whitney) and were price shopping. We ended up at Marjan, where Charlie (owner) personally helped us. The prices were great, beating the big box stores and several other recommendations we were given. We like doing business with locally owned businesses so we went with Marjan. They even added in an under-​mount sink at no charge. When the time came to take measurements, Edwin showed up to do the work. He was very professional, polite, courteous and provided some good recommendations on a couple of tricky spots. Marjan delivered our fully fabricated counters in just six business days and the install was flawless. My experience with Marjan was great, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality counters.

Don’t take your expensive marble to these guys. Around July– October 2012, I had made the mistake of hiring Marjan Stone for kitchen marble counter installation. An unlevel installation required a second install. What a Rookie mistake. And they actually cut corners that were mismatched along the veins but their solution was to draw fake veins in with a Sharpie pen! It gets worse, my stone was installed scratched, and then sealed with with some white powder trapped under the sealer etc. Basically, the installers lack experience. Go somewhere else and save yourself some heartache.

Marjan did a 2 bathroom counter upgrade for us in summer 2011.
Very happy with the result and John was easy to work with.
We used pre-​fab counters since the dimensions worked out and this was the cheaper solution.
There were a couple of hitches on the install but acceptable solutions were found. One piece of granite in the shower area needed silicone rather than the latex caulk they used which died after a few months.

Stay away from those crooks!
Even though I particularly confirmed with them the scope of work before signing the contract, they upped the quote by 40% after measurement. Additionally, they were lacking technicality of stone work. They did not have the engineering capability of hanging a big marble piece on the fireplace wall.
I backed out of the contract because of the quote increase. I switched to Frank & Sciarrino Marbles, who had had years of experience under their belt to resolve the engineering of bolting big marble slabs.
Marjan breached the contract. They lacked engineering capabilities. Despite BBB accreditation, do yourself a favor and stay away from them. Don’t be fooled by those positive reviews on
— they are probably the only things Marjan is capable of fabricating.
