Spring Valley Recycling

My favorite recycle center in all Spring Valley, quick, good pay and the gentlemen are very friendly.

Be Carefull if you go here. First they were very unfriendly. Dont expect them to act like they want you there. If your not hispanic, you will be treated like a 2^nd class citizen. Second, if you ask a question about wieght of your product they may ignore you as they did me. Third, Count your money. They shorted me 10 bucks. I pointed it out and they said NO, they were right without even looking at the money. I had to stay there while they helped another person untill they finally paid me. I think they hoped I would just say keep it and go. There are several other good places close and you might want to go to one of them. AVOID these scammers or take your chances

The place pays decent money for your recycle, however they lack friendliness, annnd FYI count your money before you leave the register, last time the guy short change me for $ 5 and as we were walking to the car we notice, we turned right back and he pretty much said «well I counted $ 35 «so I am a liar now. he refuse to give us our money, and even threat us to look at a camera. we said go for it. finally he gave us our $ 5. so make sure you count you money these guys may be tipping themselves not expecting you to come back, just saying

These guys are courteous and helpful and they recycle appliances, and all different kinds of metals and they make it quick and easy. No complaints here.

Great place to make some extra money for my cans! Not too far from home!

They are so nice and helpful. One of them helped me unload all 218 lbs of glass from my car. Probably one if the best recycling centers I’ve been to.

White glass CRV $ 0.1050/lb
brown glass CRV $ 0.1050/lb
Aluminum CRV $ 1.700/lb
Plastic CRV PET #1 $ 0.9100/lb
Plastic #2 HDPE CRV $ 0.500/lb
So save your recycling! The extra cash is the incentive. I have been saving my recycling money for a vacation. Today, I got paid around $ 52 dollars for the recycling I’ve been collecting since October!

These guys pay a decent amount for your cans, plastic bottles, and glass. Don’t expect them to randomly come up and help you load your items in to the nasty old garbage cans they use to weigh your loot with, they’re busy enough already. If you’re really trying to avoid getting dirty, latex gloves don’t break the bank folks, get some if you’re that concerned with staying immaculate. These guys are straight to the point, in for the money. If you want your hand held while doing this stuff, then don’t expect it here. If you’re in it for the cash, stop here and get paid. They lack a 5^th star only because they don’t take in any more scrap metal, but for a business that’s run in a hollowed out connex box next to a 7 Eleven, what do you expect. Sure $ 10 — $ 40 may not save the freaking day, but that’s more money for crap you can use… unless you’re the guy who came up to me saying that he wanted a specific Coke bottle of mine for his collection. Hope you’re having fun with that.
