History

Established in 2002.

Started by Lorrie DeNiro, licensed vet nurse in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2002. Business grew and became very successful over the course of 10 years. June of 2012, Las Vegas business was taken over by Sue Villella, another licensed vet nurse, and Lorrie moved to San Diego to begin providing pet sitting services there and opened a second branch of Zookeepers Pet Sitting.

Lorrie moved to the San Diego area in the summer of 2012 to be near her family. She has been married over 20 years, has 4 grown children, and pets of her own, including a dog, cats, and parrots. Lorrie has worked as a licensed vet tech and a professional pet sitter for over 10 years. She is definitely passionate about animals and could not think of doing any other kind of work.
