I never have a problem placing an order. I usually get a supreme and pepperoni pizza with a salad. They are usually pretty quick and they do deliver if you need it. I live nearby and just go pick it up. They have a good flavor to their dough and crust. It isn’t NY but hey it is still pretty darn good pizza. The supreme never disappoints. It is expensive and with a $ 5 pizza joint a stone throw away sometimes you just want to save money. I don’t go here often I reserve it for more special occasions. Two pizzas is about $ 50 with delivery.

I prefer small business pizza joints over the typical chains. Donnelly’s is barely average, not bad, not great. Took 50 minutes for two pies at a cost of $ 47. For about $ 10 and 20 minutes less I’ll drive back to my old neighborhood and go to Pizza Tonight on Glenloch.

Fresh veggies on pizza and salads! Amazing crust that isn’t greasy. I’ve found my new favorite pizza joint. Have already ordered two weeks in a row. I did think the small size looked more like a personal size. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu!

Ughhh… I really hate to give bad reviews to these little Mom’n’Pop joints, but the sad truth is Donelly’s just isn’t that good. I gave them a shot tonight because they were close to the liquor store, making them a very convenient weekend pickup stop. I ordered a «personal» 8″ pie so that I could sample the pizza before investing in a whole pie. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that a very large portion of the pie consisted of the outer crust, which was thick and doughy, and not very flavorful. On the bright side, it did have a decent texture, despite being thicker than the crust on a deep-dish pizza. Luckily the«valley» in the middle of the pie had a decent amount of cheese, which tasted like real mozzarella. Unfortunately the sauce was very thin both in terms of texture and flavor, lacking any noticeable Italian spices. I’d say it’s worth the drive to hit up RC’s NYC pizza instead on Sawdust. The next disappointment came in the form of Donnely’s Gyro sandwich. The best(and most) gyro sandwiches are made from chunks of meat that are shaved off a big hunk of meat that is spinning on a «spit», a device that turns a spindle of gyro meat around and cooks the surface meat. I should have known when I did not see one of these that the gyro was going to be a disappointment. Instead of delicious spit meat what I got was the pre-sliced, formed and then frozen gyro meat slices, the kind that you find at some grocery stores in the freezer section. What a bummer. The taztziki sauce wasn’t anything to write home about either, a tiny to-go cup full of sour cream with some tiny bits of sliced up cucumber. If you want a proper gyro sandwich, go to the Olive Oil Restaurant on Sawdust. The price of a gyro sandwich will be a little expensive, but at least you will get the real deal. All in all Donnelly’s food isn’t terrible, but it’s nowhere near great, either.

Stopped in for the $ 5.99 pizza buffet. The entire staff was super friendly. They asked if there was a particular pizza I would like them to make and put out on the buffet. I asked for the white pizza aka Alfredo pizza. A few minutes later I was chomping down on seriously the best white pizza I have ever had. The thin crust was crispy with the right amount of tasty Alfredo sauce and the cheese was melted to perfection, too. I have had my share of white pizza from the west coast through to the mid west and this was the best white pizza I have ever had. I will definitely be back.

I’m sorry, but I have read some reviews so I decided to give them a try. Extremely disappointed. There were a couple of customers there when we arrived, which were finishing up with there meals. Looked over to my right there was a buffet looking area which looked like it was sitting there for at least 2 hours. So we asked the polite lady behind the counter if they sold slices, she then replied no but we have buffet slices. Lol(no thanks). So we decided to order a fresh pie. Ate the pie which was raw in the middle and definitely not worth the money, will never return. Also while sitting there during the struggle of eating this pizza, every table and even the counter was dirty. Tip to employees clean up instead of sitting around doing nothing.

We’ve ordered delivery from here a couple times. The wait was not bad, the pizza is pretty good. We ordered sausage, chicken fettuccini, supreme and Hawaiian. They were all very good, great crust too.

The family and I went in one evening to eat and the guy at the counter was so rude. He was acting like we were interrupting whatever he was doing while he was sitting at the counter. I had a couple of questions about items on them menu and it was like pulling teeth trying to get him to help. We ended up walking out. Horrible customer service! We have heard that the pizza is good, too bad we will never get to find out as we haven’t stepped foot in the place since.

This pizza is one of the best that I’ve ever had. I’ve had pizza at Star pizza downtown and I would tell you that this pizza place is just as good if not better. I have not had a pizza here I didn’t like. Sorba the Greek is amazing and meat lovers is great as well. You won’t go wrong with this place. Delivery can sometimes take a while but I am willing to wait because I know it will be fresh and will taste amazing.

I really didn’t like this place. I tried the pizza here this summer. The guy at the counter was rude and they didn’t even have a soda fountain. A bottle of dr. pepper is extremely overpriced. I would have brought my own drink, but I was already ordering, hungry, and I wasn’t told that it was 3 times the cost of a bottle of soda that you’d get anywhere else. I drank most of it before the pizza was even ready. I was charged way too much for a mediocre pizza. I really can’t understand why there are any positive reviews about this place. If you want good pizza, go to RCs pizza on sawdust or brothers pizza on grogans mill. Brothers has an awesome lunch special.

Great pizza to get if you aren’t in a big hurry and call ahead of time by at least an hour. The quality is really good and has a nice variety of different pizzas. The only problem I have with this place is the time it takes. But if you call ahead of time, it’s well worth the wait.

I’ve have tried Donnelley’s 3 times and this time is my last. The first time we ordered delivery. It did take quite a while but the food was great. The second time we ordered carry out as it’s somewhat faster than delivery. We ordered chicken Alfredo pasta and a pizza. The pizza was fine but my chicken Alfredo was completely burnt on the top and virtually inedible. Tonight we decided to try them for a 3rd time for pizza only. I ordered carry out again and was told that my pizza would be ready in 15 – 20 minutes. I arrived and paid for my pizza and then was told it wouldn’t be ready for another 10 – 15 minutes! What the heck? When I told the cashier what I was quoted over the phone I was simply told«sorry, but were backed up». It’s really sad that this is going to be my last time here, but they need more experienced people working.

Probably the best pizza you can eat for the price. $ 5.00 for a large is a steal. The flavor of the sauce is perfect, rich and flavorful. The crust is not too thin, not too thick.

I used to work here for over a year, I moved 8 months ago so if I had anything bad to say about Donelly’s I would do it, but Texas flamer and the meatball pizza is badass because they use the big meatballs not the chopped up crap that Pizza Hut and those other guys use. And they have a ton of ingredients so you can make your own if you go there. But the truth is, I read some of these reviews and yeah I agree some of the staff is young and don’t know what they’re doing but I know the managers are teaching them new techniques and they’ll be learn. Also Don and Kelly are great people, when I go back to visit Texas later this month I plan on going out of my way just to see them and see how things are going. I mean Donelly’s has its flaws but hey every business does. So yeah I’d pick them over Pizza Hut or dominoes any day

Place is going down hill versus our first try in late 2014. The staff is young and seem to be irresponsible. Take forever to make pizza(1hr +) even for simple call ahead orders. Pizza is average but price is really good for the cheese or pepperoni carry out. Overall it’s budget friendly, average tasting but service is really slow and inconsistent.

Just for an update, I spoke to the owner, Kelly, the following Monday(1⁄19). She acted shocked that her manager said that, and assured me that they would never have someone call a costumer and tell them no refund, etc etc. She offered to make it right to me by refunding my money. SHEDIDNOT! There has not been a refund at all, and this further cements all the other reviews from people in my area about this business. I am not concerned over $ 35, but it is more so the principal of the situation at this point. I was told not once, but twice(manager and owner) that my money would be refunded for HORRIBLE food and service, and it has not happened. I’m wondering what my next step will actually be at this point, Better Business Bureau? Consumer protection agency? Actions with my bank? Any tips would be appreciated :)

Great value! $ 5 large pizza. Just don’t get the super thin crust because it was more like a cheap frozen pizza than restaurant pizza. But the regular thin crust was tasty. A nice alternative to Little Caesars $ 5 hot n ready.

Decided to try this place ordered a pizza just for me I got to say it was really good. I went to pick it up the guy that helped me even opened the box to see if my order was correct. I definitely will go back good food. When it comes to so claimed New York stile pizza I’m very judgmental but this place is really close to the feal and taste
