If it wasn’t for Dr. Beavers himself I would have given his office no stars. Worst. Service. Ever. His staff is rude and all have attitudes. After 3 adjustments my glasses still weren’t right. The ladies treated me like I was a burden. I’ll never go back and tell everyone I know not to.

First off: When I first saw there was a Dr. Beavers in the Spring area, I was sooo hopeful he’d be a gynecologist, but no luck… it’s an optometry office. While the sign outside still(as of March 2013) says«Guy R Beavers», Dr. Beavers has apparently moved on to the Austin area and this facility has been taken over by the Mann Eye Institute with(I believe) Dr. Martin Baumohl as the OD. From the moment I walked in until I left, every member of the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They were very thorough, when they went through the eye exam and the results came back better than my current prescription, they took the time to redo the test and confirm the results. They have a very nice and broad selection of styles to choose from for your eye wear, and also offer contact and Lasik services for eligible patients.

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Beavers to anybody. He was thorough, very friendly, and obviously knows his stuff inside and out. My new glasses having me seeing better than I have in years, and I do get my annual exams. I definitely have found a new doctor. His staff is efficient, though more businesslike than friendly in most cases. No complaints, though.
