The food was mediocre. The service was mediocre. The flies were aggravating. I won’t be back.

We’ve been sitting here, waiting on the last person in our party, for 20 minutes. The dirty chair is still sitting next to us. There are 6 tables of guests. Two tables over the table is still dirty from the last guests. The red and green salsas are less than tasty. The queso is typical but I’m enjoying it while we wait. The patio is nice(atmosphere). 35 minutes later they finally cleaned the dirty table. The chair is still dirty(see photo). Okay I had the nachos al carbon and they were plentiful and delicious. My girlfriend had the carne asada and she was very happy. The prices were also reasonable. However the damn dirty chair, which I pointed out and moved into the walkway is still just as dirty… One hour and 20 minutes later and still only 6 occupied tables. This place has a lot of potential because of the atmosphere, extensive menu and geographic location but I will not be back. Their lack of effort on cleanliness in the dining room scares me about what the kitchen might look like. What a shame!!!

Some of our neighbors recommended this place. I cannot image that they actually have eaten here! This is one of the worst dining experiences that I have ever had. I will pretty much eat any food, taco stands, street vendors, food trucks… all the way to high end restaurants all over the world. Mario’s lacks competent servers. The logistics are almost comical, from seating to drink orders to desperately begging anyone to bring us a check just so that we could finally leave. Fun note, when your food appears highly over seasoned, the chef is probably trying to hide something, and that something is food poisoning. The majority of our party ended up sick for days. It would be safer and tastier to eat out of a trash can.

We love this place! Great for kids since it’s loud inside. Always consistent good service and good food. Drinks are great! Well taken care of which is important.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The wait was long. The service was almost non-existent. You could tell the food had been sitting around for a while. The meat was dry. And it was almost comical, trying to get them to bring us the check. I was literally hanging out of my seat, trying desperately to wave someone down, just so we could get out of there and put the whole awful experience behind us. We came so close to walking out on the check, completely. Would never recommend to anyone. Would never go back again.

The only Tex Mex joint that I can get a decent chimichanga at. Crispy outside, delicious meat I side. Beans and rice are fantastic as well as the salsa.

Just sat down 10 mins for drinks and chips. I’m sure the food will be good but the service is horrible

Been here 30 minutes, very hungry after shopping all day, five tables including mine and the waiter has not returned once to ask how my chicken empanadas turned out, So I will tell you. Overly fried, and so much beans and corn inside you have to dip in the velveta cheese to eat. I have had better, when will resturants learn to make bettet or just take off the menu. However, the chips and red salsa are good!

I heard from some locals that this was a pretty good place to eat. The reviews were less than favorable. We thought we’d try it out and see for ourselves. Slightly below food quality. Chips tasted stale. Frozen margarita fairly runny. Service was adequate.

We gave this establishment one more chance and they failed miserably. Five months ago I ordered beef fajitas… unseasoned, chewy beef without even salt on cold, dry tortillas. Couldn’t even get an «I’m sorry» from the TV-watching manager. Our waiter would disappear into the back for several ten minute breaks during our meal. Three or four years ago, they were great! But now they make Taco Bell look 5-star by comparrison. During our visit today, no one greeted us for five minutes upon arrival. No one was in front of us and the dining room was only ¼ full. But we were finally seated at a clean table. Our waiter brings us a basket of obviously reused tortilla chips(80% small pieces) and the worst tomato salsa I’ve ever had in my life. The verde salsa was actually good. But our waiter didn’t return for 15 minutes and then we simply asked for our check. The manager did ask if anything was wrong as we were leaving, but he didn’t hear my answer because he was very busy watching the soccer game on TV. Please do not waste your hard-earned money on terrible, questionable food and the worst customer-service you will ever find. Avoid Marios. You will thank me.

I came in at 930 hesitantly because they close at 10. They treated us like we were the first guest of the day. Fresh chips, amazing salsa and great food recommendations.

We LOVE this place! Very authentic Mexican food and the BEST margaritas! We try to visit at least once a week and always feel so welcomed by the staff. My husband and son always order the same meal and they remember us. I will admit that my first visit was not the best but as with everything I gave it a second chance and I’m so glad that I did!

If I could drink the salsas, I would!!! They couldn’t refill our bowls fast enough. I ordered fajita nachos and hubby had a lunch special. It’s queso cheese, not shredded, but was still excellent. The food wasn’t greasy, the plates didn’t arrive to our table almost on fire from a microwave, and the restaurant was very clean. Great hole in the wall joint for a quick Tex Mex lunch.

My dear Mario’s, I have heard great things from you and I was willing to try your establishment, only to be disappointing. My partner in crime being a regular at the old establishment, he recognized one of the servers which he was our server so I thought to myself«AWESOME, getting service from a well known person.» The server was great but that was it! I ordered the fajita stuffed avocado only to be very bland, my margarita was too sour with very little tequila(not that I expect a lot either). Then what made things worst was that the place was getting ready to shut down at 7pm! A large family walked in but instead one of the servers told them that they were closing since they were slow. I felt very uncomfortable as the staff cleaned and I was trying to enjoy the last of my margarita until I insisted to my Boyfriend to go ahead and leave. It just seemed like this establishment was willing to lose money just so they can go home when in reality they close at 9pm and I could have ordered another margarita.

My boyfriend and I walked in on a Saturday night and were quickly offered to sit at a table or booth of our choice. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. We received complimentary salsa and chips as we waited for our meal. The salsas, both red and green, were better tasting than most Mexican restaurants I have been to. We ordered a large chile con queso which was just nacho cheese with sliced jalapeños on the side. The large was a bit much for just the two of us, but it was great to take home. The taco salad I ordered was an average portion size and decent in flavring. I did add a bit of the salsa into the taco salad for a little more flavor and spice. Overall, I would return for the service, but not so much the food. The servers are friendly, quick, and attentive. I give them 4 stars for that.

A second choice when Double Dave’s buffet was closed and a pizza would take 20 minutes, so we walked across the parking lot and was in and out in 30 minutes only spending $ 25 on 2 lunches. Was seated right away. Menus handed & drink orders taken as we sat. Chips and salsa were on the table with in 5 minutes of sitting down. Server came back with our drinks. We ordered a small queso. Queso came. Ordered chicken tacos and quesadillas. Food was hot and delivered quickly. Service was attentive and our drinks were refilled before they were half empty. We’ve eaten here several times and have not had a bad experience at all. I would say it’s a go to Mexican restaurant when you just don’t want to think to hard on a location.

Canned chicken in my tortilla soup. Second time I’ve been there and felt like I needed to give it another try… not impressed.

Way more food than one person needs! Tacos al carbon were amazing and huge! Salsa was warm and tasted homeade. Wife had a taco salad that was huge and had a lot of meat. Service was great. Divey place with great food.

I’ve tried to like this place, many times. Especially since my husband likes their breakfast. But sorry, NO! Last week I ordered guacamole as a meal since I figured they can’t mess that up. WRONG, they brought me mashed up avocado, seriously? That’s not guacamole!!! Since it was my meal, I asked for chopped jalapeños, onions and tomatoes just to doctor it up. I didn’t have the heart to ask for other spices. Today I ordered a potato & egg breakfast taco. They served me a cold flour tortilla with sparingly scrambled egg and one small chunk of potato for $ 2.55. I was better off going to Taco Cabana. I’ve tried and tried but they have proven me right… They just aren’t any good. Their customer service is bad too. I know they are a locally owned pop-shop but I still expect to have service. I shouldn’t have to search for a waiter to come out from the back to take my order or to ask for my bill. Unless you know these people personally, you’re on your own. Consider yourself warned.
