Found this place after looking all over Unilocal.My mom and I were in town for a festival and needed a little pampering! This place did not disappoint! Great service and our nails turned out great! If we are ever in town again we will be back!

Prices are a little higher than the old spa I used to go to but it’s cleaner and they don’t rush their work. Their signature pedi is great and the chairs are a good size and comfortable. The employees are friendly too. Will definitely return.

Went here to get my nails done before going to a job fair. The nice lady doing my nails seemed flustered but otherwise she was nice. she did mess up one nail but she redid nit no biggie. I also got an eyebrow and lip wax done here and it was quite painless! pretty good place not the best but not horrible. ill try a pedicure here sometime.

This place used to be amazing! However, they must have gotten new management or something because I see nothing but new faces. I’ve gone to the same girl for a long time. When I went a couple of weeks ago I had to have some new girl do my nails and so many of them were crooked. Went to get my nails done for prom yesterday. When I said I needed a full set the girl up front said she didn’t know if anyone here could do a full set. This place used to be A1 but recently it’s been disappointing. I miss the old nails and spa.

I came here today looking for a walk-​in opportunity for eyebrow waxing while my daughter was in ballet class and I had some quiet time alone. My first impression was favorable, the woman at the front desk was professional, helpful, and friendly, and the price was right at $ 8.
The inside was clean and pretty, which isn’t always the case with these strip center nail salons, so I found that pleasing as well. I’m a sucker for pretty! I had never had my eyebrows waxed at a nail salon before, typically I go to an upscale hair/​spa place over on 1488 where I pay double the price, so I was glad to see that there was a nice, clean room for waxing just like I was used to.
That said, the quality of the job was a little sub-​par. I took another 10 minutes in the car with a magnified mirror and needle nose tweezers to really get the job finished, but… for the price, the convenience, and how quickly I was seen (right away! And maybe 5 minutes in the process), I didn’t mind that too terribly much.
Overall, I’d go back, it was average, but be prepared if you want a detailed waxing!

Love this place! My daughters and I treated ourselves to mani and pedis. They do a great job every time no matter who does our nails. Thanks y’all! Keep up with the amazing service.

This place is amazing! I got the royal treatment — Tina’s pedi and Vanessa’s shellac mani were totally worth it. They helped me pick the perfect grey color for a fall wedding. I love that they use plastic liners for the pedicure tub and disposable kits (buffer, pumice, file) so you know it’s clean! My favorite part was the stone massage and light exfoliating scrub on both arms and legs.
The owner was around that morning and even offered me wine. I had to decline bc we had plans for lunch at the new Fogo de Chao… which was also bomb.
One week later and my nails still look great. Worth every penny! #treatyoself

I frequent this nail salon b/​c it’s 5 mins. from my house. I usually just come in for a shellac mani, which is $ 32 – 38 depending on which package you choose from. If you choose to do the shellac polish only it’s $ 22. I came in one day to get a shellac polish and wasn’t happy about the way the polished looked on my nail, the color was uneven. I called and spoke with the owner & she told me to come in to get it fixed. They took care of me and I appreciated the great customer service. The salon is probably the cutest nail shop I’ve been in. It’s very clean with a Texas rustic chic theme going on. I came in just a few days ago and all the nail techs we’re dressed up for Halloween, super cute and festive. My shellac doesn’t last quite as long as I like here but because of convenience and location I do come here occasionally. Everyone I’ve dealt with here is very friendly. :)

A clean, well managed nail salon is hard to find. Found my neighborhood gem right here at Nails and Spa on Rayford (next to Kroger and Massage Envy).
First you’re greeted by a friendly host who is quick to discuss what you need and get you lined up with the appropriate technician. Prices are listed on the menus and lots of options are available from basic painting to more deluxe spa pedicure treatments.
The nail stations are clean and the pedicure basins are individually lined each time for a clean, sanitary start. The entire salon has a clean feel to it.
Then the technicians– they’re great! I personally LOVE Lena who’s been doing my nails for a while. She’s careful to not cut or burn, she talks to you about different options and– my favorite part, she can do some amazing designs for you… much more than the standard flower or heart. Many of the ladies that work here are talented artists and if you let the hostess know you want a design she’ll make sure to put you with the right person. I often bring a pic I found online and have good success in them re-​creating it on my nails.
I recommend you give Nails & Spa of TX a try. I’d say ask for Lena… but then she might be too busy for me!

I have been coming here for years and I love this place. Thuy does my nails and I look forward to my visits. She does a fantastic job and is very personable. Thao does my pedicures and she is very thorough and never rushes Karen the owner is great too. She always makes me feel welcomed as well as the rest of the staff. I have never been this loyal to a nail salon until I came here.

This place is huge, I don’t think I have ever seen a nail salon with so many chairs. It’s crazy.
In line with some of the other reviews, I do think it’s over priced. I don’t know if it’s because of the area or because their rent is probably higher because it’s so big, but I’m not used to paying an arm and a leg for a mani/​pedi.
My pedicure was great, I expected more of a massage for the price, but other than that they did a great job on my toes.
The shellac manicure was ok. I don’t like it when they do the tag team thing, because it does take away from enjoying the pedicure I feel. I think they should probably ask you before just assuming you’re in a rush and want to skip on out of there. Two of my nails also chipped the next day, and the others aren’t holding up very well either and it’s only been a week. I’m not sure what caused this, but it’s rather frustrating.
I’d say if you’re in the area and don’t mind the prices, it’s not a bad spot. But if you’re looking for a place to go on a habitual basis there’s probably better options around.

This was my first time here. I didn’t have an appointment & walked in. Was greeted professionally & promptly by Karen. I wanted shellac/​pedi. She directed me to polish & offered to help me pick colors. Very nice & helpful. I was seated in a chair promptly & my spa pedi started. Tech (Ming I think) was very nice & did a good job. My shellac started soon after. Tech (Juliette I think) was also nice & did good job. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is prices. They seem to be much higher. I just moved to the area from Katy so maybe this is the norm for here but seemed too high for me.

After walking out of several nail salons due to their rudeness and mean comments about me in their language, I almost gave up on mail salons. Well unfortunately, I was in dire of need of one recently for my engagement so I reluctantly gave this place a try. They quickly greet us, very nice to me and did not speak viet especially after I made mention that I was having trouble previously with other places. My nails lasted over 2 weeks which was more than I needed. Hell to take off but beautiful put on, the pedicure was very nice and my nails turned out to be exactly what I asked for without the drama.
I can’t stand nail salons that speak viet in front of their customers and talking bad about them half the time and especially hate it when they do it about me.

I want to start with the positives, the front desk staff is nice and they do a good job, it’s clean and pretty easy to get an appointment.
Now what I disliked about my experiences, they give you a price sheet for the different options — great. Their basic pedi starts at $ 35. The entire time I was trying to relax during my pedi the lady was constantly up selling to me. Do you want to add wax -$ 6? A design -$ 10? Eyebrow wax? I have no problem saying no, but it was so much that I could not relax or carry on a conversation with my friend. So your $ 35 pedi ends up being $ 60 if you aren’t paying attention. I went back a second time to see if it was maybe just the person who gave me my pedi but no, same experience.
I have had a ton of pedicures in my life and know what I want when I go in, I don’t like having a salesperson in front of me for 45 minutes. Due to this reason I will go elsewhere and enjoy my relaxing pedicure in peace.

Went here under the new management and I really liked how they treated me and my concerns regarding my bunions. I can tell this place has changed for the good. Also I liked how they were professional and didn’t talk to me much (this wasn’t a bad thing) but I talk all day at work and when I get to pamper myself I just want to relax and not worry about a conversation. Thanks Vanessa who did my shellac and to Minh who did my pedi and helped relieve the pain I’ve been feeling on my bunions…

Second time was definitely much better! Julie did an amazing job getting my nails to look the way I wanted them. (I wanted something with a little green but not too much for St. Patrick’s Day) Karen, thank you for encouraging me to give Nails and Spa of Texas another try. You guys really are great!

I walked in shortly before close but they had no problem getting me set up for a mani pedi at the same time. I added on a shoulder rub to the mani and it was worth it.

Drove a little farther than normal to check this place out. I made an appointment for me and my in-​laws for both a mani and a pedi. When we went, all three of us had two techs each! It was perfect! I don’t agree with the post below about two techs taking up your limbs. Usually, we have one tech that first does the pedi, then does the mani, and that takes forever. It didn’t seem at all like rushing, more like respecting my time.
I loved the fact that the techs paid attention to us instead of what I’m used to… the techs talking to each other.
The place was very clean, and the butterfly chairs for little girls was too cute! Maybe i’ll bring my goddaughter very soon! She’d love it!
My father-​in-​law had particular directions for his pedi, and the tech spent extra time to make sure he was happy. He’s a pretty picky guy, so I’m glad we have found a place he likes.

Came in here yesterday for a shellac manicure. My manicurist was very sweet and did a thorough job. I was really impressed considering my friend and I went in 20 minutes before close.
What got me about this place was the staff. Now, I’m Vietnamese and I understand all the Vietnamese talk. Usually it doesnt bother me because they’ll just gossip about each other’s lives. But there was a male employee who made me especially uncomfortable. He kept saying I was pretty and bothered me about my life. Asked if I had a lover. I usually brush that kind of thing off but he grabbed one of his coworkers ass right in front of me in which she called him a perv. Now, this just made me really uncomfortable. Might I add he also got in my personal bubble when he asked me about my life. Lets just say, weird and creepy.
I might return to this place if that guy isn’t there. I paid $ 37.00 for a shellac manicire with an accent design. Pretty affordable and the lady did a good job.
