Worst experience I’ve ever had at a car shop. Went to get coilovers installed on my BMW, they gave me a good low price but you get what you pay for. When I picked up the vehicle, the rear of the car was bottoming out like crazy and rubbing pretty bad. They didn’t install the rear spring collars at all, a day later I notice the front end of the car is wobbling like crazy. So I took the car to a specialist BMW shop and turns out my rear springs were installed UPSIDE DOWN and without the spring collars installed the rear end was fully riding and relying on the shocks. The front strut camber allen bolts weren’t tightened and that’s what caused the front wobbling, the adjusters were also loose on the front as well. When I picked up my car from this shop (RRT in sterling) today all parts were installed properly, car was sitting at the height I wanted, alignment was properly done and car rode like a champ. Overall experience at Blockstar was beyond horrible and will never go there again and will share this bad experience with the local car groups and forums.

It is a pleasure to see so many young people working together and doing their jobs with passion as I observed at Blockstar. After years of bad experiences with detailers, both private and those associated with car washes it was exciting to find Blockstar! I had seen them on instagram associated with another quality business I have worked with and was not disappointed.
I made an appointment with Joey who was courteous and very helpful. When I brought my car in I met Jake who went over the car with me and summarized what he would be doing based on some things I pointed out to him. When I picked up the car he seemed to know it better than I and went through a de-​briefing with me before ringing me out, for an exceptionally fair fee I might add.
Needless to say the car was immaculate, I could see it was meticulously detailed inside and out. Even the trunk and behind the gas door was done beautifully. It is a very nice car and it look even nicer, like new! Their shop is about 10 miles from my home but it was worth getting a friend to drop me off and pick me up, it’s always worth a little extra effort to get something done well.
Jake had said he was passionate about cleaning cars and could not stand a dirty one, I could see that in the fine job he did for me. Not only will I be back with this and our other cars I will be referring all of my friends and family to Blockstar for detailing.

Had air suspension issue that were caused by a previous shop, resolved it with blockstars with no problem. Handled it professionally and in a timely manner.

I bought suspension for my sedan and Bobby was able to get me the lowest price possible and they arrived really fast.
Bobby is the owner and is genuinely one of the nicest people. His character reflects how he does his business and I wouldn’t want to get my car needs anywhere else.

Worked with Bobby on setting up an appointment to get my rear fender rolled.
Joey preformed his magic on the rear fenders. About 30 minutes later the car keys were handed to me.
Overall experience was great and very satisfied with their work.

Brought a car in to get its windows tinted and they did a fantastic job. Bobby and his crew were very knowledgable, the car got finished in the amount of time they said it would be done. Very nice and clean place. Highly recommended

Emailed the company for 2 license plate frames that were sold out or discontinued and seen if they carried a set of canibeat license plate frames and did. Was able to PayPal the item safely and received the item faster than I thought. Would do buisness again. Thank you

I got my windows tinted at Blockstar a few months ago and wasn’t sure what tint percentage to choose and spoke with Bobby. He showed me cars with both tint levels so I could decide — I went with 50% all around and am happy with the outcome. Months later, I still have no complaints. They did a great job!
On Friday, I reached out to Blockstar and spoke with Bobby again to ask if they did regular maintenance. To my surprise, they do! I just needed a simple tire rotation, so he scheduled me to come in at noon on Tuesday.
When I got there, Joey greeted me and told me it’d take about 20 minutes… which is no time at all compared to waiting at a dealership or gas station! I had a little ding on my passenger side mirror where the plastic got dislodged. Joey was nice enough to take care of that for me too.
I talked to Joey about fixing the scrapes on my rims and he said they could take care of that, so I will be back!

I came in the day before I got my car repaired and Joey was a great help and also very friendly. He came out to check out my car and told me everything I needed to know to get the the job done. It was quick and easy. Since they have quite a flexible schedule, there was no hassle with making an appointment. Any time worked for me to bring in my car the next day. The day after i came back and I was given assistance immediately. I only had to get my rear bumper replaced so the wait was not bad at all. I was surprised to only have to wait about an hour. Joey did a really great job and I would definetly recommend this company overall for any auto reparing or remodeling.

I was not too familiar with any good body shops in the Northern VA area and received an awesome recommendation to Blockstar for my window tints. I was very impressed with the final result. Very kind and experienced team over there!

I personally know one of the owners Joey through Meva a banker consultant at Suntrust bank, and he is a friendly, honest, down to earth guy.
I came to the shop to get my 2014 GTI tinted, and told me it will take 1 hour to finish and it took them 55 min. fast, professional job. Their prices are affordable compared to others.
I’m glad to know a honest and cool guy like joey. If you need awesome work, with great service then this is the best speed shop in the DMV!
They do custom work and will accommodate to anything you may need or want to do to your vehicle and prices.

I came into Blockstar looking to get tints done on my car. I saw a tint special and thought wow, what a great deal!
The location was very easy to find and once I walked in, I was immediately greeted. The office was very neat and modern looking. The front desk was helpful and I was directed to Joey.
He told me the tint would take an hour and that is exactly how long it took.
The tint was very well done and Joey also went ahead and checked out my car for any issues. He cleaned up my battery and did minor check ups.
I would highly recommend Blockstar and definitely come again if I want something done to any of my vehicles.

My annoying maintenance required light came on and I was dreading getting my oil change since it was due for one :(I really didn’t want to have to get my oil changed at a dealership, so I had to think of places that I could get it done.
After much thought and knowing a friend who got her car detailed at Blockstar, I thought maybe I can call and ask to see if their willing to do an oil change (even though they specialize more in customization). Called up the store and was able to speak to Bobby (one of the owners of Blockstar). I asked him if he was able to do an oil change for me and he said he would be able to. Booked the earliest appointment with him and got my car squared away!
Bobby told me (as well as my dad back in NC), that the dealership didn’t even bother changing my air filters (which should be a standard procedure). About a week or two ago, my dad told me that as well and was peeved that a dealership wouldn’t do this for me since it was dirty/​old. My dad is usually the one to take care of my car and do the oil change, but since my stint in NC was very brief, he didn’t have time (that’s another reason why I turned to Blockstar).
In the end, Bobby and Joey went the extra mile to make sure my car was taken care of. Putting in the best oils for it and also asking me ahead of time the make, model, and year of my car for preparations.
