Very nice store. I came in with my dog who refuses to eat most dog foods. They gave me a free bag full of samples to try.

Like other reviewers, it only took a trip or two to become regular customers. Although we buy a number of products, our favorite are the raw hide chew bones. Their brand is rolled so tight that each chew last several weeks versus only a day or two for chews from other vendors. They also have a nice selection of specialized treats good for reinforcement training or just pampering.
The service is knowledgable and personal. A good example, was this morning when I arrived at the store about 15 minutes before they opened, the manager open early so I could complete my shopping and move on to other errands. It’s been 20+ years since a business has done that for me.

I have been shopping at this store for several years and just love the store, the people who work there, and the resident cats! The friendly and welcoming attitude is hard to find these days. The owners and staff care about your satisfaction and the quality of their products. They know everyone’s names and the names of the pets who also come in to visit. This is a happy place to shop and the products are outstanding… many products made in the US. If you have not shopped here yet, I highly recommend it. It is my primary shopping place for all my cat food and supplies!

Great costumer service, products, and competitive pricing. They are great with your dogs if you shop with them, and we have never been disappointed with recommendations or sizing help.

people seem nice who are running the store. parking is fine. pretty expensive. be careful what you buy if you think you are buying a U. S made, by a U. S company product. I purchased some «organic» bones for my little dog. one little bone cost $ 1.79. it was marketed as natural … buffalo. when I got home I called the 800 number to find out what kind of buffalo and what county it was from. someone in California picked up and said it was water buffalo from India – the tail of the water buffalo. a lot of the stuff in the store is not labeled, as to where it came from etc.

I only had to come in once and from then on I’ve been coming in very often. On weekends sometimes they have small events like raffles and ways to help local pet organizations. Their customer service is on point.
I went to them thanks to the Hound & Gatos website saying their brand was sold there. Then Hound & Gatos had a rabbit shortage and I started buying other cat food brands for my cat that had rabbit. She loves rabbit. The one she has been going crazy over for the last couple of months is the Mauri, a New Zeland brand that doesn’t have rabbit but has other great flavors.
Don’t hesitate to stop by. Very reasonable prices and great quality.

This is by far my favorite pet store! Everyone who works here is extremely knowledge and very helpful! The customer service is unbeatable! Even my pup is spoiled upon walking in!
I’ve spent a great deal of time researching and reading about the best possible foods & supplements for my pet, & this place is the only place I’ve ever been to that carries all of the top brands I know about, & then some! Totally worth the little hike it takes for us to get there.

There is no reason to go to a big box store when you have a store like Felix and Oscar’s in your neighborhood. Every staff member I have encountered is friendly and most important knowledgeable of the product the store carries but the biggest difference of all is they treat your pet as if its their pet.

Extremely helpful staff! I have extremely picky furry friends and two with allergies. Most recently, I’ve been searching for a wet cat food made of rabbit that my cat would eat that seems to be allergic to just about everything. I was immediately shown four different options and assisted with figuring out which had the most gravy (yes, my cat is THAT picky!). I’m a grateful customer as my cat has eaten wet food for the first time in over a week… he wouldn’t touch any of the excessively expensive flavors I purchased at my vet’s office. Thank you, Felix and Oscar. I felt like I was punishing my kitty for having allergies. He finally seems at ease tonight… and full. :)

Never been to this place but I just got off the phone with a lady and she was very pleasant, answered all my questions, and tonight I’ll go in to buy Orijen dog food which I thought could only be ordered online, I am so relieved to learn that it can be bought in stores. Awesome sauce!

The owners, Steve and Diana, are wonderful people. They care about their customers and offer up only the best advice for our pooches. We order our dogs’ raw diet from them. They place the order on a Tuesday, and we can pick up in 2 days. Everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful.
There are huge varieties of food, snacks, toys, and dog-​centric gifts.
Parking can be a nuisance in the shopping center, but Felix and Oscar has designated spaces for their customers.

I work at Just Fur Pets (also in Springfield), so I usually go there to buy food for my puppy. My older dog, however, is highly allergic and the only food we have been able to keep her on is found at Felix and Oscar. Either I or my father go in their often to pick up her food and they are always SO friendly. They remember us and our order every time we come in. Which to me is very important. I’ve always loved the feel of local owned businesses. Definitely recommend :)

I’ve been coming here since I got my dogs in 2007 and I’ll keep coming here! I don’t even live close, I pass at least 3 dog food stores to get here but I will keep on truckin to Springfield no matter where I live. I have honestly never been in a more friendly establishment. Everyone is super nice and knowledgable and quick to help you. If you’re clueless about pets and/​or foods come here & they’ll get you on track. Love love love em!

Visited this store today and it is super cute! Many things to buy (coasters, picture frames, magnets, etc) — we were looking for a Lupine pet harness. They had the size and style we were looking for. Staff was nice and helpful. Was even offered a Girl Scout cookie while I was paying. The main section of this store is the dog/​cat food and treats. Definitely recommend this store to any pet lover. Will visit again soon!

The staff loves your pet almost as much as you do! I was referred to this adorable little boutique pet store by my pet trainer. She told me if it comes from Felix & Oscar it is going to be good.
I had a 1.5lb, 6 month old Yorkie. Being my first dog I wanted to find quality food and toys that would keep him healthy.
The first time I brought my dog in I was greeted by a super sweet young girl who immediately came over to say hi to me, but mostly my dog and offer up a few treats for him to try.
The owner, and fellow ginger, has a Yorkie of her own so she was able to tell me a little bit about what she uses for her dogs and guide me towards some treat and food options that my dogs love and according to my vet has helped keep him in perfect health.
Every time I visit they are always pleasant helpful and eager to help and give treats and free trials to my pup. A lot of their products are guaranteed so if you or your pet don’t like it, you can bring it back.

I bring my basset hound here after his neurology appointments at the specialty vet hospital next door. This past Friday, I brought my foster, who had cancer and was showing weakness and lack of appetite suddenly. I told the store person there (Diana)that I need really tasty food for a dog that wouldn’t eat much, and she brought out all kinds of good stuff, and even offered to bring the food to the car, where my dog was resting. Instead, I brought my dog inside, where Diana tested lots of foods and treats to see what would work. My dog turned down many things, but chose a couple, and we stocked up on those. Diana also walked her around for a while and I could tell she genuinely cared; it wasn’t just about making a big sell. She also knew other people and dogs that came in and what they liked.
What she gave my dog turned out to be her last meal. I am so grateful to Diana and this store for their kindness and for really caring about their customers. I’m not a regular by any means but they were very generous with samples (like opening and trying out an entire can worth of food for one dog). They may be a little more expensive, but I would pay more any day for the high quality inventory they carry and the customer service.

This is where we bring Poesy whenever she needs a pick me up (like after her experience at Olde Towne Pet Resort), we want to get something special, or want to try something new. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always showers Poesy with treats. They have a wide selection of lesser known brands so you get to try some really unique food, treats, and toys. They also have leashes, bowls, the cutest doggie sweaters and a «bakery».
When Poesy was being picky about her food a few months ago my husband went in to get some small bags we could try — they sent him home with a bag full of free samples so we wouldn’t waster our money buying food she may not eat.
I tell everybody about Felix & Oscar — it’s a GREAT store!

We stopped by here after dinner, and I saw this place out of the corner of my eye — I had to stop by to see if there was anything I could get for my sweet pup! When we walked in, I was pretty amazed in how big this store was and how brightly lit it was in this plaza. They care bowls, dishes, holiday wear, collars/​leashes, toys, an extensive food line as well as treats. I was ecstatic to find the duck feet (which I purchased for over $ 10 for 5 pieces at a pet boutique), but here, they were 10 for $ 3.99!!! All-​natural, made in the USA — I loved that they carried an extensive line of natural, USA-​made, non-​China treats. Prices are comparable to any independently-​run stores, but you’d be surprised in finding an array of things for your furry loved ones. Gaby, the sales associate there, answered all my questions; I also loved the store cat, Luna — she was so cute (but, I think I was hovering around her too much). I’d love to come back here with my pup as Gaby said that they spoiiiiiiiiiil them — oo la la! A nice find!

They love animals here — you can tell because all of their stuff is grade A.
They have frozen Elk necks bones… right? Frozen Elk bones. Awesome. They have Raw Diet stuff. The staff is lovely and helpful. They make you feel like family.

I’ve been coming to Felix and Oscar’s for years! The variety of food and accessories still amazes me! The staff is always helpful, they know their stuff. They have the best variety of Raw food in the area. If you are not sure whether they carry it, then just call or visit and they may be able to get it for you. Often times I go to a big box store, and the staff has no idea what I’m asking for in terms of food and collars. Their store is located in the Outback shopping center and there is always lots of parking! They are not open on Sunday so check their website for hours!
