This general contractor is a liar and a thief! Do not use OSCAR GUZMAN /​H.A.I.L or H.H.I Home Improvement for any work around your home!
He never maintained proper liability insurance during the 5 days of work: he falsified a certificate of insurance and then canceled another insurance days before work started. He never obtained the proper county permits nor handed over supposed updated deck designs. He tried to hold the project hostage by demanding $ 2000 of additional materials costs he could not explain/​justify. He ignored multiple attempts to resolve dispute and disconnected his phone number.

Oscar Guzman is an excellent contractor and can do anything you need him to do. Not only was he able to do the work the day I agreed to have him come, his crew was on time, very detailed oriented, and as other things popped up Oscar had the skill set and resources to get the problems fixed timely and in my budget. I was amazed to see the crew stay late nights to get the work done, starting early and even coming back to make sure everything was PERFECT. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We had a rotten floor, front door, and bad plumbing. All was replaced and is in beautiful condition. You can’t go wrong. Thank you Oscar for all your hard work.
