Meet the Business Owner

Tim and Karen S.

Business Owner

Tim and Karen have owned the depot since the 1980’s when they bought it from Tim’s family that owned it since the mid 50’s. When the train line quit passenger service, Tim’s family bought the depot and moved it across the street to the present location. We also own the feed mill across the street and the stables. We started Pedal and Cup when the tracks were taken up and it became a bike trail. Tim has lived in Springfield his entire life and Karen grew up in Lake Geneva.
