Can’t say enough good things about this location. My wife and I get takeout from here a few times among and it is always delicious! The staff and management are top notch.

I live not too far from here and I eat here VERY often. Staff could be a little friendlier upon entering the restaurant, but I typically call my orders ahead anyway this way my order is ready when I get there. Everything is cooked fresh to order so it takes time to prepare your order. The Louisiana Rub is by far my personal favorite… I like the dry seasoning a lot! Fries could use a little work. They are fresh cut, but I think they recently changed their cutting machine because the fries have been extra thick lately and they aren’t cooked long enough most of the time. You just have to ask for them extra crispy!

I eat here regularly since I work in the area. I’ve always been pleased with the service and quickly getting my order. Wing Stop’s lemon pepper wings are fantastic! I always default to spicy food but I can’t stop eating these! At any other wing place, I always order the hottest food they have. The lemon wings here are better!

Wings are delicious and the service is great. The mango habanero and Korean BBQ are my personal favorite.

I love coming to this wing stop location. It’s very clean and the staff are always very attentive. There is definitely enough parking in the shopping center where they’re located. I would recommend getting the lemon pepper with french fries. I typically order extra seasoning on my lemon and pepper wings because sometimes I feel like that there isn’t enough on my wings. Also, the seasoning for the french fries are sooooooooo good. They have a sweet but not salty taste. They go well with the malt vinegar they provide at the counter. They also have beer if you’re looking to throw down a beer while enjoying your wings. Must try Lemon pepper wings French Fries Chicken tenders

Service is mediocre. Not friendly at all. What got to me was that they have a coupon plain as day for free french fries with any purchase. This is a corporate menu shared by all wing stops yet they put up a sign saying coupon is for next business day purchase. That is the stupidest thing in I have ever heard. Even when we tried to use the coupon they wouldn’t let us. Customer service at its lowest. The wings took a long time cosine ring not many people were there, but tasted good. A little over priced got my wing craving filled.

You can never go wrong with wings, and a restaurant can never really mess up with wings. Or atleast I hope not. The awesome part about wing stop is the variety of flavored. Good quality and the ranch taste great. Take very long though. I’d only recommend this place if you’ve got some time on your hands don’t ever consider for a lunch break or anything unless you order atleast 20 min ahead of time.

Slow Mediocrity in Action I love wings, so I went in here wanting to like it, I really did. The Rolling Stones said that you can’t always get what you want. They were talking about this place. Heck, I didn’t even get what I need. Three of us went. We ordered boneless wings(which are basically chicken nuggets) and classic wings(my fave). We got hot, mild, Hawaiian and barbecue coatings. There were 14 people in the restaurant, and 4 were employees. So… Our order took 25 minutes to come out. Ludicrous for a fast food place, especially one where the most complex cooking step is to drop wings into hot oil. Now, when food takes that long, what you’d hope is that it was worth the wait. Hope springs eternal, but it dies here. The wings were already cool when we got them. Hawaiian coating tastes like a poor sweet and sour sauce. Barbecue sauce was nasty, and hot sauce is just Tabasco sauce and butter, with no real depth of flavor. Heck, they weren’t even hot(spicy). Wings were not cooked to crispness. All that enjoyment for a mere 30 bucks. I won’t be back.

Good size wings and cooked perfectly crispy. The price is reasonable. I came here with my husband and two boys. The kids loved the wings with teriyaki sauce. We tried the«atomic sauce«and, love it! It had a good kick. My kids like the place a lot. Will back here again.

I absolutely love this place! I’m from Cali and they finally brought one of LA’s hottest wing spots to the East coast! If you don’t order online or at home expect to wait at least 15min. Everything is freshly made to order! My personal faves are the garlic Parmesan(it’s a rub not a sauce) and Hawaiian… both r not spicy and the Hawaiian is sweet.

Been multiple times since they opened and definitely an awesome spot to get wings quick. I thought their online ordering system was very odd and definitely preferred ordering in person. Wings taste great my only concern is I wish they had more of a variety of hotter sauces. They always ask if you are prepared for Atomic. Yes atomic is hot but its a great balance of taste and heat, gives you slight burn on your lips even after you are done. If I had to put it on a scale of local, BWF compares with their 911 wings. The jump from Hot to Atomic is a lot in my opinion as the standard hot is more of a mild to me(I also really enjoy hot hot wings). The other options do taste great just no heat really at all. Fries taste great, standard drinks plus beer bottles. I thought it was cool that I could upgrade my combo to domestic beer for less than a dollar I believe. Place still looks great inside since its new. Definitely going to continue to eat there and will be looking into large orders for football season!

For years, I’ve been saying that Springfield needs two things — a good wing joint and a good barbecue joint. Still waiting for the barbecue, but have worthy wings arrived? Time will tell. Like others I have a pretty good history with Wing Stop — not perfect, but pretty good — good enough to make a point to go when I’m on Route 1 in Alexandria. So, when my sister told me of this location, I was excited! Today was my first try and I’m encouraged. I called my order in and right away I noticed that instead of 14 minutes, I was quoted 18 minutes before my order would be ready. The actual dining area was nice — it seemed larger than the Alexandria location, but that could be because of the newness and decorating choices… it for sure seems brighter and more appealing. I was only there for maybe six minutes, but the staff seemed eager to do a good job, which for me means a lot. Yes, the drink selection was disappointing because of the expectation set by the Alexandria location. BUT, that Gold Peak iced tea dispenser makes up for it for me, but I know not for everyone. My food was as expected heat-wise when I got home to eat it. What wasn’t expected was the lack of oil in the container with the wings! I’m used to the wings from the Alexandria location swimming in oil, so this was awesome not to have that. What wasn’t awesome was the lack of seasoning on the wings. But, all is not lost — it just needs a couple of extra shakes of the lemon-pepper seasoning to fix that. I noticed a poster in the shop, advertising the big size of their wings. That poster should be removed because the size of the wings are average at best. The fries were nicely seasoned. My order was up before the given 18 minutes and I will be back!

Wing Stop is a great place if you are hungry and want a generous serving of food at a low price! I tried the 6-piece combo meal that came in a choice of two flavors with Seasoned Fries and a drink. The Boneless wings were very good. I tried the Louisiana Rub and Serrano Pepper Glaze flavors and enjoyed both. I was pleased that Gold Peak iced tea was offered as a drink selection. Counter service was excellent. In fact the server was apologetic that some of the wings were small and so gave me ten rather than six. That was quite generous. But, they need not have done so as I was full after consuming six. The regular basket of Seasoned Fries was enormous! I don’t see how it could possibly contain only 121 calories as the Wingstop nutritional guide states. I could hardly make a dent in it. I would return, but would look to share an order of ten wings and order carrots or celery sides.

«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» This is what a 2 star rating is defined as by Unilocal. This is the perfect description of my first time at this location. The place is new, and you can tell. On the inside you have 3 – 4 big screen TVs. The dining area is relatively small, but this is a good place to stop by for lunch during the week or if you have free time early on a weekend. The kitchen area and bathroom are clean. But, let’s get to why you are reading this review — the food! I went in and ordered the combo which was 10 wings(wingless or bone), fries, and a drink. This deal is $ 10.99. You can add 5 wings to this for $ 3.99 more. For the math wizards, this is $ 14.98. Not bad for a lunch. You get a decent size fries, 15 wings of which you get 2 different flavors unless you want to pay more per additional flavor, and a drink. I ordered«boneless» by the way. But, what did I get? After a couple of mistypes apparently by the cashier, I was given a 15 wing combo for 2 with bones, despite ordering boneless. Wait! I’m just 1 person! This comes with a ridiculous size fries for 2 people and 2 drinks. At the end of the order I was actually asked if I wanted to upgrade my 2 drinks to 1 large drink. What? Who orders 2 separate drinks? What happened you asked? I was given the 15 wing combo for 2 like I said above, and this cost $ 16.99! With tax, it came out to $ 18.01. Now that we are done with the ordering situation, let’s get to the food: Wings(with bones) were dripping in sauce. This was messy and not like that ‘other’ national competitor most of us have been to where the flavor is baked into the wing itself, and at most, you might need 3 or 4 napkins to get through a dozen wings. Not here! I literally used about 10 feet worth of paper towels to get through 15 wings. The fries were just flooded with grease, caked in salt, and were soggy for the most part. I ate about half of the fries since I am 1 person and the order was for 2(almost a theme here). If I went here again, I would try to order the combo again and hopefully have a better experience with a correct order. This is definitely a wing joint you need lots of napkins, or a knife and fork. Loses a star for ordering procedure, another star for the price, and a third star for very messy wings.

My husband and I have eaten carry out from here twice. After our second time we won’t be coming back EVER. We order 2 large fries and 30 wings via the Wing Stop App. We arrived at the time the app told us to and our order still wasn’t ready. No biggie I just waited. About 10 mins later it was ready. When we drove home and dug in we found the fries were RIDICULOUS… it was a cold pile of undercooked MUSHYMESS. You could literally ball them up and wring the grease out. They were inedible. But we know fries don’t travel well and we still had a bunch of wings to nosh on… well that is until the first bite… not only were they cold(the trip from Wing Stop to our house is less than 10 mins)…but these wings WERENOTCOOKEDTHRU. They were mushy and pink inside. Far from the EXTRAWELLDONE wings I’d ordered. We were forced to trash them. In an effort to give Wing Stop a chance to correct the wrong – I mean its a new restaurant with new employees, I wanted to give them a chance-I immediately phoned the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. The person the phone said he’s a manager of other locations and filling in or something but he took all my info and said that the owner would call me the next day. That was Sunday, it’s now Thursday and the owner or anyone else from this place still hasn’t called me. AVOIDWINGSTOPOFSPRINGFIELDUNLESSYOUWANTTOGETFOODPOISONING.

I’ve eaten at a lot of wing joints and I’ve eaten a lot of wings. I think it’s safe to say that wings are probably my favorite food, specifically, wings from Wing Stop. When I learned that a new location in Springfield was opening, I was very excited. That meant no more driving all the way to Alexandria or Sterling to get my wing fix. But alas, when the day came for the grand opening, I was there and sorely disappointed. The wings were extremely small, there was hardly any seasoning, and the fries were underdone and they lacked that signature fry seasoning of Wing Stop fries. But despite this subpar showing, I wasn’t unimpressed enough not to return. I have been back to this location 2 – 3 times since opening night and I just can’t ignore the mediocrity anymore, which is why I am here on Unilocal!to air my discontent with this sham of a Wing Stop. I seriously believe that if your location can’t uphold the standards and quality of the brand, you should lose your franchise… but I digress. Here is all that is wrong with the Wing Stop in Springfield: 1. TIME It takes far too long for orders to be filled. Every other Wing Stop I’ve been to gives you a standard time of 14 minutes and the wings come out hot and fresh, in 14 minutes. Always. This location ranges from 20 – 30 minutes and the wings are dismal, at best. 2. TOOMANYCOOKSINTHEKITCHEN There’s like 15 people in the back at any given time and 2 – 3 at the counter… which means they are in each other’s way. It doesn’t take that many people. And you’d think that with so many people working, orders would be flying out, sigh… 3. SUBPARFOOD The fries are always underdone and under seasoned, the wings are never hot(lukewarm at best) and they are really small, so they tend to be over cooked and not very meaty. 4. STANDARDSODAMACHINE Enough said I understand that this location is new and there are kinks to work out, but to that I would say that the owner/management should take a field trip to the Alexandria location for a crash course. While it is a bit inconvenient to make the trek to Alexandria for Wing Stop, I’d gladly do it to keep from eating at this place again. On a positive note, the cashiers are friendly… a bit too timid for my liking, but nice nonetheless.

Similar to what other reviewers have said, the wait time is absolutely atrocious. I’m aware that the restaurant has recently opened, but being told that my food(15 wings and a side) would take 17 minutes was bit of a head scratcher and actually receiving my food in 30 minutes was just irritating. The food itself was subpar at best. The Garlic Parmesan and Mango Habanero wings were decent but the Jamaican Jerk had very little to no flavor at all. Also, one would expect that wings would be complimented by either celery or carrot sticks but those were additional charges. However, I will say that the staff was friendly and constantly tried to keep the place clean — which was appreciated. The pricing was decent(around $ 14 for 10 wing combo plus a 5-wing add-on. The menu said it charged $ 3.99 for 5 extra wings but I was only charged $ 2.39, so there’s that). There are also a few TVs in the restaurant that can entertain customers as they wait(forever) for their food. Maybe in 4 – 6 months I will be open to trying this location again but until then, my first impression wasn’t a great one.

Yummy wings and awesome fries! This place has lots of wing flavors. The flavors ranged from sweet to extremely spicy. The flavors have a set spiciness level. I was kind of disappointed because I wanted to try the cajun, but it was high in the spice level, so I ended up picking BBQ. The BBQ flavor was right under the mild flavor. Therefore, I thought that it would not be spicy at all, but the BBQ had a slight kick. It wasn’t unbearably spicy, however it made me wonder how spicy everything else was. As you can tell, I’m not a big fan of extremely spicy things. That made me think that it was a good thing I didn’t get the Cajun. Garlic parmesan was good too! It was buttery and had a strong garlic taste. However, the flavor did not overpower the chicken wings. You must order the wings with a side of fries and drizzled with whizz cheese. This was amazing. The wait for the wings was kind of long, but wings take a long time to prepare. This means the wings are at least fresh right? If you are in a rush or super hungry I would suggest that you call ahead and place an order. The workers were friendly and helped out with a smile. Great place to grab a quick bite and this place is even open till late at night! Whenever I want a midnight snack you know where you will find me!

The Springfield location is new. They said they opened up on Thursday(2÷5÷15), and we just happened to be near there on Saturday so we swung by. When you’re fiend-ing lemon pepper like WIlliam Roberts II, aka the Telfon Don, aka Ricky Rose, aka Rick Ross the boss, then this is a pretty decent spot to go. I’m not a wings fan though, I prefer the 30 cent wings night at Whole Foods, but my GF swears by this place. I do appreciate how everything is made to order, but it takes them like 17 minutes to make your batch. That also means if there are people ahead of you, you’re gonna be waiting a while. The staff looked completely new, but were very courteous. They might have been all high schoolers just judging by how young the looked. The place smelled like fresh paint too, and the floors/tables weren’t sticky yet. The wings were piping hot when you get them, and they do a pretty good job of making sure it’s plated neatly. Some places just plops them into the basket, but not here. They weren’t drenched in sauce either, which I like since I’m a neat freak. They were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and none of those gross, soggy, wet pieces of skin/chicken that I’d rather not eat. That’s about all I have to say though. It’s just a wings place. If you like wings, you’ll probably like this place. Not sure if they have a wall of shame here… yet. You know, a challenge board where you get to put your name up if you can eat 10 generations of chickens in like 30 mins, or if you can eat 10 wings that have been covered in bear mace.

I’ve eaten at other Wing Stop locations a few times in recent years so I was pretty happy to hear that this one was opening up not too far from work. I placed an online order for lunch and made the drive over. My enthusiasm died quickly when the cashier told me that my order hadn’t been processed and she was about to call me. Turns out the very first item on their online ordering site(60 cent boneless wings) is for participating locations only, and their store was not one of them… Alright, no problem; I just ordered a six piece combo instead. I sat and waited for about 20 minutes watching others, who came in after me, order and receive their food before they finally had my order ready. My disappointment tripled when I opened my box of wings and I saw six extremely tiny nuggets of chicken. Did the size of the wings change since the last time I had Wing Stop? I don’t remember them being so small. All in all, this location definitely has some kinks to iron out before it can equal up to the Alexandria or Sterling locations. ALSO — this location has only a standard soda dispenser. The aforementioned Wing Stop locations both had freestyle Coke machines.
