I have probably walked by this place multiple times with my visits to St George St. Never giving thought to what this place offered. You can imagine my surprise being from Chicago that a pizza place here in Florida was rated #2. The opportunity presented itself to roll down to St Augustine and experience the #2 rated pizza place. I was a little concerned after reading some of the negative reviews. Other than being caught of guard by the«CASHONLY» payment method, we had a relatively good experience. The line was out the door but moved reasonably timely. If you ordered by the slice you had to wait in line. If you wanted an entire pie, you could bypass the line and order at the register. It was pleasant to see the different combinations of pizza. I had the«Rustica» all roasted veggies. It was very tasty with me having to apply a sprinkling of salt and parmesan cheese. We experienced the garlic knots and felt that these were just Ok. They would have been better fresh verse reheating. We also experienced the cannoli and the Sicilian Spogliatelle(Lobster tails). When it came to these confectionery items, I have had better. That being said these were ok but I have been Spoiled with Buddy’s at Carlos’s Bakery. I wouldn’t deter someone from consuming these by any means. I have just experienced a better product in my opinion. Many people mentioned in these reviews about negative experiences with the owners. We didn’t experience anything of the sort. We will return here to experience some of the other Pizza Flavors. Just Remember Cash Only!!!

This place was amazing. The white pizza was insane. I went we a group when I wasn’t even hungry and still at a whole slice. Tasted like some authentic New York style pizza.

Let me start off by saying this is NOT the 2nd best pizza in the country… Not by a LONG shot. Off the top of my head… Johns of Bleeker in the West Village, Grimaldis in Brooklyn, New York Suprema in Midtown, Lombardis in SoHo just to name a few. That being said, this is hands down the BESTPIZZA in STAUGUSTINE. Big slices or a big 20″ pizza you can take home. They have Pepsi(I’m a Coke guy) and a decent beer and wine selection. Its a little pricey, but if you want good pizza in the city, this is it. Good sauce, good cheese, good crust, good toppings… they do everything right.

The food was AMAZING! Everything about the food was spot on. Me and my girl friend loved the pizza. Now on to the reason for a two star… There was one of the ladies who clean up tables and bring food out to tables who made an uncalled for comment to me and my girl friend. We had both finished eating and I went to go throw away our trash and refill our drinks. When I came back to the table and sat down and started talking to my girl friend who was on her phone(reason irrelevant). I had just gotten a text from my mother and went to look at my phone. So for a split second we both were on our phones at the same time. In that split second the older lady aforementioned came by and stopped by our table to say this«What a shame, you two are sitting right across from each other and have nothing to say to each other, what a shame.» She then walked away shaking her head, I, nor my girl friend made a comment back to her. We left immediately after that. I was not able to get her name, but this is very poor customer service. Regardless of what we were doing on our phones it is none of this lady’s business and she should not have interjected. She was way out of line and if it would not have been a busy night I would have tried to talk to management. It is just poor taste and was a waste of her time to comment like that. Something that she should have clearly kept to herself. She was an older lady with very short hair. I honestly do not want to even go back to Pizza Time because of this, they need to think about who they hire.

Long wait paid off. A lot of options in town but this is worth it. If you find a seat snatch it right away. It’s crowded all the time.

Not a fan. At least not of the meat lovers pizza, which reminded me of bowling alley pizza :/we were disappointed. Greasy, salty, no depth of flavor, bad crust. Didn’t even finish our slice. Note they only accept cash payment.

Hands down the best in northeast FL, been going here since they opened, long before they had lines out the door. Rich and quality ingredients used. Worth paying a bit more for the deliciousness and quality. Love the variety of slice options.

Absolutely amazing! Pizza is so simple — dough, cheese, maybe sauce and some toppings — but so many places manage to do it wrong. This place, however, clearly knows what it is doing. Great foldable crust, lots of gooey cheese, served hot from a pizza oven. We sampled a bit of everything and enjoyed it all. The best bite was the plain calzone — nothing but thin crust with tons of ricotta and mozzarella. One note — it’s cash only.

Because of the Trip Advisor review, we made this a place we had to try. The couple of month wait we had before our vacation was worth it. We shared 3 different slices and could not decide which was the best. No room for anything else as the slices are generous in size. After you order they put it in the oven so it comes out piping hot. The food is served cafeteria style but each piece was served hot. Make sure to stop here while enjoying St George street

Great Pizza! Was recommended this location by some locals of St. Augustine. Cafeteria style ordering, but the guys here make it worth wile. I grabbed a slice of the Vanessa: Cheese, red onions, and fried eggplant. Awesome flavor. Great crust, great sauces and toppings. I would recommend this to anyone. Took some garlic knots to go and snack on later. All of it was a great lunch and great experiences.

The sign says 2nd best pizza in the US according to trip advisor. Obviously none of the voters ever tried NY pizza. I will say it’s the best pizza I ever had in Florida. The sauce tasted a little«canned» the crust was of NY taste and quality. Line goes out the door at night. Ice cream place attached to it as well.

On my recent trip to St. Augustine I made it in here 3 times! I really cannot explain how good this pizza tastes. This trip I had the mushroom white pizza, the pepperoni, and the meat lovers. I also made it into Gelato Time and had a scoop of banana something or other(with caramel) and the chocolate hazelnut… ummm, ummm, good!

Pizza joint is in a very beautiful spot. Obviously, it is in saint Augustine, it had to be beautiful. Now, about the food. They have thr largest pizza slices ever. Definitely, NY style and options. I viaited with my family and we felt welcomed from the moment we stepped in. I would however recommend that the pricrs of items should be visible like they are in NY.

Absolutely the best NY style pizza in St. Augustine, probably Florida & just about anywhere else including NY. The owners are from Brooklyn which has some of the best Pizza in the world, somehow they managed to duplicate it in St Augustine. They recently doubled their square footage & also serve gelato. The crust, sauce, seasonings, olive oil and cheese are excellent the olive oil is dripping off the Pizza when folded and eaten properly(they have forks & knifes for those who don’t know how to fold & eat Pizza), the cheese is the old fashioned bubble gum kind you chew & chew savoring it as it eventually melts in your mouth. Even in NY it’s hard to find a pizzeria that uses that kind of cheese, I attached a photo of myself in front devouring a plain cheese slice. Yum!

Wow, the pizza choices are spectacular! We had already eaten but upon seeing the pizza we just had to try it & take it home. We ordered a slice of white pizza and a slice of the spinach which were divine. I was with an out of town guest from Wisconsin and she loved it. Wisconsin has great cheese & she’s always raving about their pizza. I took a slice home to my sister it was cold & she still loved it. Great service. One thing to note is that it’s cash only. And there’s always a line but for good reason! Will definitely come back. I dream about this cheesy pizza.

Put this inside your face, don’t question it. Hands down best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, Uncomparable to anything else either in NY or anywhere I’ve been. Whoever rates this joint less than 5 stars is smoking crack cocaine

Without a doubt, the best pizza I’ve had in Florida. Flavorful and cheesy with a crispy crust. They have a great variety including white pizzas and Sicilian. Tip: this place gets super crowded, but seating is also available in the adjoining Gelato Time.

Despite being busy, these guys were quick and efficient with taking orders and preparing the pizzas. The pizzas came out hot and delicious! I ordered the Meats Lover and it is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. Every time I come to St. Augustine, this is a must! Side note: please don’t forget that this place is cash only. They do not accept credit cards however they have an ATM that is conveniently located where you pay. Great thinking!

I just don’t understand. Pizza Time is mind bogglingly delicious! Why aren’t there more reviews for this place?! My family and I were exploring St. Augustine and stopped by this place because we were hungry. It was just going to be a little snack because we were planning to get dinner again in 2 hours. hehe Well, little snack turned into a feast!(Somehow still managed to eat dinner afterwards…) I HIGHLYHIGHLY recommend the White pizza. I am a tomato lover, but oh, this pizza does not make me long for marinara sauce. This pizza is just so right. So simple but so good. So… sooo…sooo…(needing more adjectives…) Just get it. I also thoroughly enjoyed the eggplant. Because they throw each slice in the oven again before they serve you, the breaded eggplant was crisp and delicious. I recommend it! Be aware that this place is CASHONLY. and please do yourself a favor and bring a lot of cash so you can try all the flavors :)
