History
Established in 2000.
In September 2000, Beverly Miller (Esthetician) opened the doors of Tranquility Skin & Body Care Center. Originally located at the StoneHouse in downtown St. Charles, Tranquility was a «one woman show». Fast forward to the present and my oh my how Tranquility has grown! Now known as, Tranquility Spa and Wellness Center, the location has expanded and resides at 113 N. Second Ave. in the Century Corners Shopping District. In addition to Skin Care, Tranquility now offers Massage, Acupuncture, Nail Care, Chiropractic, Psychotherapy, Yoga, Acupuncture, Gong Meditation, Infrared Sauna, Community Wellness Lectures, etc.

Business Owner
Beverly Miller has been an esthetician in the skin care industry for over thirty years. A graduate of the Ohio State School of Cosmetology in 1976, she has continued to advance her expertise through post-graduate education at the International Dermal Institute and yearly tradeshows/conferences. Beverly enjoyed a successful career in Columbus, Ohio for 20 years until she relocated to the St. Charles area. Beverly worked with Dermalogica on a free-lance basis, helping open their first school in Illinois. She also has experience working within a local plastic surgeon’s office. She returned to the spa environment and managed a local spa for 3 years. In 2000, she decided it was time to go out on her own to follow her dream. Tranquility was born September 5, 2000. Her focus has been toward a more holistic approach with results oriented skincare and outstanding customer service. Her passion is working with people and their skin related issues and transforming them into relaxed and satisfied
