Just realized today when I saw the $ 75 plus charge on my charge card that I screwed up and didn’t read the fine print. On TV it seems like the product is only $ 29.95. I missed the part about that being the cost to try it. It took a while to get and then I tried it and it’s not easy to use and my face looked like it was all dried up. If I put enough on it actually dried and cracked. I then tried the base before the make up and that was worse. The eye color ran. I put away thinking I would try again later since it was only $ 29.95. Right. Then you read the packing list and you get a big surprise. And that I’m in a club where they’ll be shipping me supplies that is an additional cost. I’m usually more aware than this. Not a positive way of doing business.

Scam TV ad. Totally. They make it look like the product is inexpensive, but
GUESS WHAT !!! It costs $ 339.64. That says it all. Do not buy. Unless of course
you are willing to be taken. I dislike these types of hype.

If you want to try this product, the repeat billing ends up being around $ 75 just to try it. (They have a 19.99 «try it» special but once you return it, you do not receive the money back, and they additionally charge you for any cosmetics you used within their kit. Groupon has right now a special on Luminess Air for $ 89.99 for the Aqua Blue & White Legend, 4 foundations, a blush and moisturizer/​primer. Since it was going to be a $ 75 trial anyway, I decided to get this Groupon because at least I could keep the things that come. Additionally, it is sold and fulfilled by Groupon so if there’s any issue, you can deal with Groupon. They are usually wonderful about returns for defective merchandise. Now, as far as the product I have never tried it. I was simply letting customers have this message because there are many interested in trying this product. When I try out this product, I will return and update this review in 12 days. See you soon!

Wonderful product, horrible customer service and shipping. One order I didn’t get and they blamed it on me, the other took weeks. Even if you pay for rush shipping it will still take weeks, but still charge you. I’m trying to find an alternative.

I ordered this item on their trial deal that they offered for 19.95 for 30 days but also $ 10 extra if you want to enlarge your order of liquid make up.
Thought it was a great deal until I used this product & I kid you not this make up made my face look so dry it was ridiculous. I looked 20 years older then i already am that my lines in my face came out that I didn’t know even existed. Also i looked at videos to make it seem like it really worked but then their like you can add your other make up over it to blend for other options.
Anyways I sent it back and they wouldn’t give me back my money from my return. I only used a few drops on one of the facial colors & thats when i noticed it wasnt looking to pretty. I did everything they told me to do on the phone and e-​mail. I had sent it in before my 30 day trial and they told me just because I didn’t extend my payments then they would have returned my money and it was going to be $ 75.
Now they finally refunded me, thank you.

Horrible site and customer service. I ordered a gift on their website for someone and never received any confirmation email or order number. I called the company to confirm my order was placed. The person I spoke with said it was place and gave me an order number and shipping date. Well, I never got my item by the shipping date, which was supposed to be in time for a Christmas Gift. I called back to find out about this after the date came and went and they said they couldn’t help me since the previous person didn’t write a note in my account… this is my fault how? But don’t worry they did apologize for the inconvenience in a insincere monotone several times.

$ 45 a month for each bottle of make-​up sent automatically every two month which is $ 90. + every two months. Yikes!!! Who uses that much make up. I am tired of scams. The product may be good but not worth all the $$ they charge you for. This company owner is living in a large house having the good life with our $$. I canceled today.

I was tricked by this company into thinking the product was $ 34.95 but the fine print states after the initial cost there are 5 $ 69.95 payments taken off your credit card. Then they add more automatic refills on the cosmetics. To return the product they put all kinds of special instructions to trip you up so if any fail they will reject the RMA. I don’t like the way this company conducts their business so I returned the product. My mom did want it either. Almost $ 400 for a cheap airbrush? Go get a $ 100 one that’s better quality and hook that up to it. Maybe that might work if you still want this stuff.

I’m amazed!!! I was treated like a queen! Honestly if you have questions or concerns or any changes to your product!?? They go above and beyond to make you happy! Totally worth the money your paying to get treated like your valued:) love Luminess!!! They make sure your happy every step of the way! The price might seem high but you absolutely get what you pay for when it comes to this product!

I’m impressed with the way this product performed. I used it on several of my performers for various shows and it held up every time. The customer service was excellent, too. Very friendly and quick turn-​around.

THIS IS A SCAM My girlfriend purchased. The terms on one side of the packing list do not match the terms on the «small print» side. BE VERY AFRAID OF THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY and the PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICES Luminess Air uses on its customers. I recommend you purchase a similar product outright from a local store and do not give your credit card information or agree to any sort of deal with this company. FAIR WARNING!!! DANGER! BUYER BEWARE! I placed an order thinking the system was $ 20.00 because that is what the main page says — try our product for that amount in BIG PRINT. Also, I quickly cancelled the club membership as I didn’t want that. However, it wasn’t until I noticed EXTRA charges appearing on my credit card that I researched it further. On a different page (not the main page) at the very bottom in teeny, tiny print so small that you almost need a magnifying glass, it says there are several more payments and so your actual order will total over $ 300.00! I have never seen such a dishonest company! I returned the system unopened — if they are that dishonest I don’t trust that their product will be safe. Plus, the teeny, tiny print says they charge a restocking fee of 25% of the TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE!!! That means they intend to charge me over $ 80 to restock an item that I was led to believe only cost $ 20.00. I have reported them to my credit card company as scam artists. When I called the credit card company BEFORE I told them the company who had scammed me the lady at the credit card company asked «Is it Luminess Air?» They have had SO MANY complaints she knew who it was by glancing at my account. I think they need a class-​action lawsuit to put them out of business. Worst company ever!!!

I placed an order thinking the system was $ 45.00 not reading the hidden fine fine fine print only to find out there are 5 more payments of $ 82.99 totaling over $ 450.00. What a dishonest company… in a million years i would have not bought that cheap made in China system for that kind of price. They have perfected the art of cheating people be aware. They are running a scam and if you don’t pay they will ruin your credit!!!

Old habits die hard, so it took me a while before I let go of my old makeup to purchase the airbrush system. I had a rough start due to user error, but after a few tries, I finally got it right. I was preparing to attend a formal gala and needed my look to be «on point.» None of that caked on crap I was used to wearing. The airbrush system made my makeup look flawless! I was extremely pleased with the outcome. The color blended in with my skin perfectly, and since I took my time to apply it, it looked very natural on my face.
The only hiccup I had was with my computer. It locked up so I didn’t get my confirmation. I called their customer service line, and explained the situation to them. I wanted to make sure my order was received, and that I had the confirmation number. The young lady was very friendly, and she was able to get my situation resolved quickly.
Not sure why people are complaining. If you exercise a little patience, be sure of your order, and take your time to apply the makeup, I’m sure you’ll be as satisfied as I am. The best thing about this product is that it didn’t break my face out. Yep, that’s the best part!

I bought this product because I thought it would be a easy solution to fast makeup for the first two days it worked fine I used it and cleaned it with the solution and had no problems well maybe one it would get clogged but that’s normal with airbrushing If you don’t use it fast enough anyhow the third day it was done it stop working completely when I called the company I was told to purchase a new piece for the air brush to work I am so upset because I didn’t do a thing to this product other then use it twice I’m over it returning the product and learned my lesson If it looks to good to be true it is.

The worst thing i ever bought in my life they charge for the machine and «membership» horrible i would never recommend this product.

Should be a NEGATIVE 5! This sleezy organization sent our payments to a collection company when my wife had to renew her bank card because it broke in half while on vacation. We thought we covered every auto deduct payee to put in the new card info, but we forgot this company. What do they do??? They don’t try to notify us that the old card bounced… NO LETTER, NO PHONE CALL… NOTHING EXCEPT A LETTER from a collection agency that admitted they get a lot from this company because they don’t bother to try and notify their customers, just f*ck up their credit score cuz they are lazy as SH*T!!!

I bought the tanning system and the liquid tanner solution has turns a greenish color twice on me. I called and they sent me two replacement bottles but the same problem continues to occur. I am very disappointed wtih this prodcut.

I tried to buy this over the phone. They gave me a used-​car salesman hard sell. I kept trying to ask questions but they had this sleazy outdated sales spiel they would not stop. It was very hard to get the ingredients in the foundation, which contains chemical analogs of glycerin that may cause acne, at least in regular foundation. The advertisement makes it seem like you can get the machine and makeup kit for $ 20.00. That may be unrealistically cheap, but they seem to promise that. Once you are on the phone they try to tell you it’s $ 300.00. But the just don’t tell you that, they try to go through this hokey spiel about easy payments and how they can make lower payments for you. It was all so sleazy!!!
After wasting a lot of my time I decided that I just didn’t trust this organization.
A week later THEY called me. Someone who said they were at their executive headquarters wanted to know why I didn’t buy the product. HE SAID HE COULD LOWER THE PRICE TO $ 150.
This looks like a very shady organization. I recognize a lot of hard sell tactics used by scammers. I was surprised to find that this company was headquartered in Texas because I thought maybe it was in a bucket shop in New Jersey.
I know from experience that products on infomercials usually cost twice as much as a comparable product in a store. By that measure, perhaps you could find this product and the makeup for $ 75.00 from a reputable company that doesn’t sound Glenn Garry Glenn Ross? If so, let us know.

I had a negative experience while looking online at a Luminess Airbrush makeup product.
I went online, filled in my shipping info and billing info on a Saturday night, but just as I was about to submit it, I changed my mind. Why should I place an order on a Saturday night as opposed to a Monday morning when they are going to ship it Monday afternoon anyway? I close the window. End of story or so I thought…
Sunday evening, I return home to an email from Luminous Air stating that my credit card was declined?! What in the world!!! I didn’t order anything from them, but they tried to charge my card. What confuses me even more is that my card definitely had enough for the sale price… i wonder if it was declined because somehow my bank knew it was unauthorized or maybe because they were charging a different price than advertised.
Be very careful! If you put personal information on their website, without supposedly submitting or finalizing, it is still considered submitted! The good news for me is that I was planning on ordering tomorrow anyway, but FYI, this is how Luminess Air operates… Yes, I’m still going through with it…
Also, note that on complaint sites — like
-, many complain about a risky «risk-​free» 30 day trial period. I understand why used makeup shouldnt be returnable, but why offer a trial period if its not actually a trial period? tell it like it is! youre tricking people into buying things! Also, in tiny writing, they say all their products are non-​returnable. (Very good to know ahead of time). Also, by buying their system, you agree to a monthly charge of about $ 30 for makeup supplies. Of course they say its hassle-​free to cancel the monthly shipments, but a bunch of people say otherwise. There are cancellation fees and such. I have no problem with strict or even unusual rules as long as i dont feel mislead or lied to… im glad i know what im getting into beforehand. (No thanks to the company)
Well, I will cross my fingers that this airbrush makeup system does what it promises and I continue to be a consenting customer because if not… Well, too bad.
