Great find! Buffet-​style as well as choices from the menu (pictures of entrees are posted on the wall as well). Large selection to choose from. Food is very tasty. The ladies that work there are really nice and they give you large portions. The coffee is really good too. There’s ample street parking.

They are located in an up and coming area, but can easily be over looked. I was very happy with my Camarones saltado lunch. It was flavorful, fresh, and ready quick. I did take out as I work next door. I miss Chavin Stamford but this is a good option.

This place got five stars. The woman, greeted me nicely even thou I came in looking like a construction dirty worker, and the cook and staff treated me and my food great. Will return tomorrow

I had driven by Mi Ranchita 2 many times not giving it much thought. Friends who live in one of the nearby high rises eat there regularly and invited us to join them. I love authentic Latin and South American cuisine and MR2’s menu offers a good variety. All four of our meals were excellent. Don’t miss the Passion Fruit Punch. Our server was cheery, homey and efficient. And: the restaurant is sparklingly clean. This is an ethnic, neighborhood restaurant that deserves to thrive. Instead of spending a lot of money at one of the trendier spots in South Stamford, step out of your comfort zone and try this comfortable, friendly place.

We’ve only been here once, so I can’t give it 5 stars yet. I had the Peruvian chicken fried rice — Chaufa de Pollo, H had the Lomo Salteado — steak with veggies, rice, and fries. Both were excellent. My portion was huge — I had the Chaufa for dinner, breakfast (with a fried egg on top) and lunch the next day, and then H had some as well. He managed to eat his whole portion when he ordered it even though his portion was huge as well. We spent $ 19 and I basically got 4 meals out of mine. I wonder if they use MSG, my fingers were so swollen the next morning — worth it though. We will go here again. Likely often.

Place is nice, l ask for scramble eggs and she give me scramble with onions and peppers (no good)
Pupusas were good the mix un top was very old !
I am not recommend this place unless you have noting to eat at home lol
