With a chainsaw and a pick-up truck, Scott Griffiths started a neighborhood tree trimming business in Southern California. His clients gave him repeat business over and over because he was knowledgable, fair, attentive, and gave exceptional service. Over the years, Scott and now his son Jacob Griffiths have grown Great Scott Tree Service into a multi-million dollar organization, servicing over 1000 properties in the Southern California area, with a fleet of state-of-the-art equipment and a long-standing, educated, hard working 55 member crew. While we have grown in size, we have stayed commited to our founding values: Providing Extraordinary Customer Service, With Fair Pricing, While Performing Excellent Work, In a Safe Manner.

Business Owner
Scott Griffiths is the founder of Great Scott Tree Service, Inc. Since 1976 Scott has remained committed to delivering complete customer satisfaction, ensuring safe operations, and providing quality tree care. He is a Certified Arborist and long-standing member of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). When time allows, Scott is deeply committed to using his skills to help in emergency relief efforts, both locally and around the world. In the past decade, He has helped with earthquake relief in Peru, lead 2 emergency relief teams to New Orleans to help in the Hurricane Katrina aftermath, and lead over 25 teams to Rojo Gomez, Mexico to build homes for impoverished families over a weekend. He is passionate about helping change people’s lives in practical ways that affect their future for good.
