I found Dr An on Groupon and can’t believe how lucky I was. I had to have an extensive and potentially painful procedure done. All I can say is that the doctor and staff were amazing and I came through my procedure (an extraction and two posts put in for implants, plus extensive bone removal for an abscess and bone graft) virtually pain free. I mean I took Aleve as a precaution and probably did not need even that. I can’t recommend them more highly. They are wonderful!!!

Because of my past traumatic experiences at the dentist, it became overly hard for me to visit the dentist for a frequent check up. But came the day where I was forced to go to get my wisdom teeth extracted and I’m more than happy and glad to have come here for the procedure. The staff and the dentist himself made me feel comfortable and explained every step of the process while doing so. Bianca was extremely nice and caring all throughout and tried to make me feel at ease. I was in and out with two wisdom teeth pulled and one filling within 40 minutes without having a panic attack! All I can say is I’m glad it’s over and found a dentist I can go without having to dread it.

So happy I found this practice.
For years, I had been loyal to a dentist that a lot of my family goes to. I’m glad they finally got on my nerves so much that I went looking around for a new dentist.
Dr An is so personable and takes his time to explain everything. He seems very trustworthy. Everyone in the office is very friendly. I had the best cleaning ever with the dental hygienist. And it’s a nice place, everything is new. I left the dentist with a big smile on my face and I will recommend this practice to anyone I know looking for a great dentist.

Dr. An is best doctor that I want recommend to everyone. I met him about 4years ago in Los Angeles now he open own practice in Orange County and I am very happy. He is the best honest Dentist. I only trust him. Also reasonable price I can afford. and I always satisfying all his work. Also staff is very nice I feel always welcome. Thank you dr. Thomas and staff!

My regular dentist retired and so, I decided to go to Dr. An’s practice. I was a new patient coming in for a regular 6mo check up and the staff allowed me to feel welcomed and comfortable for my first visit. I am really not a fan of going to the dentist, but I had a lovely experience. He was eager to answer my questions, and was very thorough with his explanations. The dental hygienists, Erin and Bianca, were also so sweet and had my teeth feeling squeaky clean~
My family and I are all pleased by the prices and the friendly service they provide!
It is safe to say that Dr. An is my designated dentist!

I met Thomas at a dinner several years ago and chatted about life. He’s a dentist so I asked him for some advice on getting implants for a molar I had extracted a few years prior. I’ve always had horrible experiences with dentists in the past so I just left the gap in my grill way in the back… no one would ever see it anyways, so I figured it was no big deal. Dr. Thomas explained that the gap would cause the adjacent teeth to migrate over time, and would eventually become a serious issue if I didn’t do anything about it.
I mustered up the courage to give him a call a few weeks later and went to see him at his office for an exam. I ended up getting my wisdom tooth extracted, a few cavities filled, an alignment issue corrected, 2 implants and a deep cleaning. Thomas explained every part of the process and gave me a sense of comfort and individual attention that was lacking in all my previous dentist experiences. The whole process took a handful of visits and was relatively painless. I was shocked that such complicated procedures were so easy to deal with.
I later found out that I was his first ever implant patient! (I probably should’ve asked him how many operations he’s done, but his professionalism and confidence let me assume that he was already a pro.)
Several years later my implants are still as perfect as the day they were put in. I’ve never had a single issue with anything. Even till this very day, Dr. Thomas An still brags about my implants… that they came out so perfect and problem free!

A few weeks ago I made an appointment for my 7 old daughter here. Having been used to always seeing a Dentist only for kids, she was real nervous. However the hygienist, and dentist made her feel really welcomed and in her words «They were great»
I also had some X-​rays done, and the results were not good. Nevertheless he was not pushy which is a big plus. He explained what I needed done.
Happy to say I will make him my our regular Dentist.
Also their staff is super friendly!

BEST DENTIST EVER ! Dr. An and his staff are so friendly and awesome. Came in for a root canal and everything went so smoothly and quick I couldn’t believe it. Almost no pain at all! Dr. An really cares about his patients and would recommend him 100%!

Dr. An just saved me $ 400! I thought I need to get a crown when I visited a dentist in Buena Park, but he told me that I do not need it. He suggested me to get a gold inlay instead that is cheaper and as effective as a gold crown. I would not have known that if I just went to the dentist in Buena Park.
Dr. An was kind, honest, knowledgeable, and experienced. My treatments went quickly and smoothly. The facility and machines are all brand new.
So, make sure you visit this location even if you have already went to a dentist. You will not regret it.

This was my first time at a dental office where the staff actually explained stuff to me instead of just telling me what procedures I need. Did you know that having braces when you’re young can contribute to early gum recession and shorter roots? I had no idea! I had braces when I was a teenager so yeah this would have been nice to know years ago. Of the 3 dentists who have checked on me in the past, not a single one has ever told me about that. I’ve had a bit of tooth sensitivity for a while, and I was always told that «it’s normal» for people like me who don’t drink iced beverages to have sensitive teeth so I learned to get used to it and just lived with it BUT today Dr. An explained to me that it was due to gum recession most likely because I used to have braces! Thankfully, in like 10 minutes, he patched up the sensitive parts with fillings and tada~ no more discomfort!
Erin was also really great with the cleaning. She was gentle and thorough. My teeth and gums are refreshed and happy! Having Bianca there as the assistant made me feel better too. She’s the first one you’ll interact with when she takes your xrays with their new equipment. She greeted me with a smile and she’s really friendly, which would make any nervous patient feel comfortable.
Throughout the whole procedure, they checked to make sure I was doing okay, and I also appreciate the little warnings they would give me before shooting in air or water. I liked it here so much that I decided to leave my previous dentist and booked my next 6 month appointment before walking out the door. I highly recommend this place!

If you look at my reviews I posted about 2 dentists. Dr. Etessami was great, his office was top notch and comfortable, but super expensive, Dr. bryan kim was amazing, but his office was old school and did not have a lot of the fancy stuff new places have.
So Dr. An’s office is the perfect middle. His office is brand new and pleasing aesthetically, equipment seems to be high tech (but what do I know), affordable, front staff is friendly and makes it super easy to set appointments, the dental tech is friendly which helps to put my neurotic self at ease and of course the dentist is great, super gentle with a calming non-​judgmental demeanor. When i first had a root canal I had to use funny gas, this time around I just did it and it was fast and painless. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Thankfully my wallet didn’t hurt too much this time around.
overall I’d say this place is A+ and is helping me cure my phobia of dentists.
I liked this place so much my husband and mom also decided to come here and they were just as pleased as I.
If you’re looking for a dental office that is affordable, clean, friendly and efficient, this is it!

The dentist here are wonderful l, they thoroughly explain all the questions you might have. I had a wonderful experience going here in a comfortable environment. I would highly recommend them.

My son woke up in a lot of pain from erupted wisdom teeth, Dr. An’s receptionist had us come right in and within the hour 2 wisdom teeth had been extracted. Dr. An was awesome and friendly and was very knowledgeable and his staff is top notch. So glad to have found a reliable, affordable new dentist for my family. Thanks so much Dr An!

Dr. An and the hygenist were very welcoming as soon as I came to the office. Their first impression was very important to me.
Dr. An was very gentle with my teeth. He was thorough in what he was going to do before doing any procedure. I am very satisfied with the fillings and whitening I got done. Not only was he professional, he was very welcoming and friendly. He felt like someone I have known for a long time. Normally, I am pretty nervous and anxious at the dentist but I am glad that I was able to be comfortable having Dr. An provide the procedures needed.
The hygienist was also gentle with cleaning my teeth. She explained various ways to clean better and informed me about maintaining good oral hygiene in a clear and simple way.
Btw, the office is so clean and tidy! I feel safe that I can go to Dr. An’s office from this point and on.

This new dental care office is awesome. Great and friendly Doctor and staffs ! Everything is band new and clean. I had to replace my old crown to new crown. It was not painful at all. Dr. Ahn is a very friendly and understanding doctor. I am very satisfied and highly recommend this new dentist.

Best dentist I’ve been to! Had a couple fillings and cleaning done. Practically no pain at all. I liked it so much that I decided to leave my old dentist and come back to get 3 of my wisdom teeth extracted. The procedure took only about 30 minutes and the dentist, dental hygienist, and the rest of the staff were very kind. From what I can tell, they have the most state of the art equipment, some I have never seen at my old dentist! Pretty much the staff, equipment, and their practice were all on point, but what I liked most about this office was that it was super clean. Cleanliness comes first to me when it comes to my medical and hygienic treatment and this place was of the highest order! 5 out of 5 no doubt

This place is awesome. I have come in for a check up and to get cleaning. When I come in, the place was very clean. Everything looked brand new and it made me feel very calm and comfy. I was surprised to experience how everyone in this office is so nice and attentive. Usually I get nervous going to the dentist but I feel relaxed and comfortable from the time I walk the office till the moment I leave. Dr. An was very pleasant, gentle, and knowledgable on what he does. He explained in detail what he would be doing. The cleaning was not painful. Hygienist, Erin did a great job and gives my teeth a good cleaning. She’s also neat, kind and friendly.
I highly recommend going here!

I’ve been Dr. An’s patient for 2 years now and recently found out that he opened up his own dental office. So I visited his new office to have my cavities filled and I was first immediately surprised by how nice the office was. Because it is a brand new dental office, all the equipment and machines are new, which is the first sign that relieves any patient (knowing that I will be treated with the latest technology).
I was greeted at the front desk by friendly staff, and Dr. An personally came out to greet me. He remembered the last procedure I’ve had with him and also remembered every little detail which pleasantly surprised me.
It was rather a long procedure because I had to do multiple fillings. But Dr. An constantly checked on me to see how I was feeling, if I was feeling any pain or discomfort. And he explained every step of the procedure so I would feel relieved knowing what was going on at the time.
But most importantly, Dr. An does a good job. He is very professional and knowledgeable, which is the reason why I nearly fell asleep during my cavities filling because I was not in pain or discomfort, and because I knew he knew exactly what he was doing.
I got my teeth cleaned after that by the hygienist, Erin, and she was so charming. Not only she was caring (she asked me in genuine sincerity if I would be ok to have my mouth open for another 15 min bc she knew I was tired from the procedure earlier), she was so thorough in cleaning and did not miss a spot. She made sure she cleaned every hidden spot and constantly observed if I was feeling any discomfort without asking too often!
I can honestly say I am not scared to go to the dentist anymore, because Dr. An and his team provide such excellent and professional service in the friendliest way. Highly highly recommend. Especially to ppl who are scared to go see a dentist.
