Reggiano’s is a great go-to place when you want Italian comfort food at a reasonable price. Although they are labeled as a Pizza Place, Reggiano’s is really much more. Staff is always friendly, food is great, and they are always willing to make things the way you ask. The food here is pretty-much typical Italian homemade. Be aware, it’s gonna be noisy and sometimes a bit chaotic inside, but it kinda adds to the charm. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Great atmosphere, friendly service and the food is phenomenal. My new favorite place for italian on the Island and certainly in Tottenville. Love the grilled Veggie pie but you can’t go wrong with any choice

Save yourself the trip to Little Italy. This Staten Island Restaurant serves up fantastic classic dishes that my family & I totally gobbled up !!! Based on a good friends recommendation we tried Reggiano’s instead of making the unnecessary trip to Brooklyn or Manhattan. Most of the Italian population moved to Staten Island anyway LOL, & for our dose of Italian on a Saturday night this was convenient. We were totally unfamiliar with the menu but pretty much knew what we all liked. We started with a fantastic Hot Antipasto which was insanely huge. I believe the menu said it was for 2 people but it easily fed all 4 of us. My children each ordered what all children love, the kids spaghetti & meat balls and I was amazed with the large portion that even an adult couldn’t finish without help. My wife had Eggplant Rollatini that was amazingly done with homemade mozzarella and San Marzano Tomatoes. I had the special of the day, a Chicken Sorrentino dish to die for. The chicken, prosciutto, and eggplant layers were all perfectly proportioned in thickness and then all married together with a beautiful Marsala sauce & topped with fresh mozzarella cheese. The desserts were the only thing that I see, that can be expanded on, but not a major problem. We enjoyed the Tartufo Gelato & their Tortoni but thought they could have had a little more variety including Italian Cheese Cakes. Over all we had a very nice meal without a lot of glitz. Service was very friendly & very quick to help recommend items on their menu. GREATLOCALPLACE that I’d definitely will come back to & advise my friends to visit. Mangia! Mangia!

Super nice wait staff. Excellent food — creative brick oven pizzas and classic Italian dishes. Enjoyed the hot antipasto platter for two, a sausage brick oven pie and a cannoli. Highly recommended.

We were traveling home to Virginia from NYC and stopped here for lunch before hitting the NJ Turnpike and the land of fast food. Wow — the food does not disappoint! We had a calzone and pizza. The pepperoni was delicious; unlike any I’ve ever had. The pizza was perfection; flavorful, perfect crust, a little spicy. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service is attentive without being overbearing. I wish we had ordered 10 pizzas to go and just stuck them in our freezer as my mouth is still watering over their tomato sauce.

I loved Reggiano’s! I have been looking for good pizza and Italian food since I moved to SI,(sorry SI’ers!) and I think I found it in Reggiano’s. The first time I went I had the bowties with peas, proscuitto, onions, and like a meaty broth/gravy. Unconventional for typical Italian but very good in my opinion. It tasted very authentic. I have also tasted the penne ala vodka and I think it may be the best I have had, ever. The pizza is also good, although different than the usual pizza fare, again I think it’s more authentic and less commercial so it has a unique flavor. The chicken parm was also delicious. The restaurant itself has a casual front pizza place and I think a nicer room in the back for dinners or whatever. When I get off my diet I will definitely be back! Parking is difficult.

I went to Reggiano’s yesterday for a Christening dinner, and it could not have been a better experience. First of all, everyone who worked there was extremely friendly and beyond accommodating. They were constantly checking in to see if we needed anything, catered to children’s particular tastes, and were just generally pleasant. The owner/manager in particular took his time to help us in every way and make us feel at home. Secondly, the food was amazing. The Caesar salad was perfectly dressed, and the fried calamari was the best I’ve ever tasted. The penne with vodka sauce was delicious, and the chicken parm & pork were also great. If you are looking to book a place for a family dinner or function in Staten Island, I cannot recommend Reggiano’s highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I normally like the food but I made«RESERVATIONS» last night I get there and they tell me 30 – 45 min wait… Sorry but don’t take reservations if your gonna treat me like I walked off the street … So you just lost a customer… Best is I heard they ask their friends for good reviews so people don’t see the negativity lol

We were hungry for lunch in the Staten Island area on the way from DC to Long Island so consulted Unilocal.Figured our best bet was pizza, and the reviews did not steer us wrong. Service was friendly, pizza was fantastic(got half artichoke and half Reggianno with sausage at our servers suggestion), and loved the bread served with their house made peppers. Our server was a little perplexed how a couple from Kansas City ended up at this little local restaurant so I wanted to give them some love on Unilocal so others passing through would be steered their direction. Its well worth the stop! And if you are local… lucky you!!!

Place was pretty decent. Wasnt a fan of the seafood. The fried calamari was horrible and mushy. Pasta was eh okay. The bread was my favorite lol. The service was horrible. Waitress barely came over and bus boy did more work. I probably will not come back here.

Reggiano’s is an excellent casual dining spot if you’ve got a craving for Italian. ask for the house special fried calamari if you go and they have it. it’s perfectly crispy and has a sinfully delicious butter/cheese sauce that can’t be beat. there’s a slight bite of citrus to it as well. it was also a gigantic mountain and I questioned if there were any squid left to make more. after tackling the mountain of calamari, we asked to split an order of chicken francese, figuring we wouldn’t be able to eat a full dinner. they effectively gave us a double order — double potato croquettes, double mixed vegetables, probably double chicken too — but for the same price. I couldn’t believe it. it was also probably one of the best chicken francese dishes I’ve had. took the leftovers home for dinner! service was excellent and friendly and fast and I felt like I was dining with family while here. prices are fair too and you get a ton of food. rip on Shaolin all you want, but I’ve spent tons of time here since I have family all over the island and there’s excellent food here.

I live in the arm pit of NJ(Perth Amboy), where good pizza is hard to find. This was worth the $ 11 toll! We were greeted numerous times, our waitress was very friendly. The owner was present and pleasant to be around. There is a parking lot with limited parking, so just beware of that. We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t packed. Brick oven pizza is always good, nice char on the crust. They use high quality ingredients so you can taste the difference. This is real thin crust pizza. I only wish they had a Sicilian pie on the menu. We took our PA family over there and they really enjoyed it too. Anyway to sum it up, pizza is banging. Perth Amboy can choke on some salsa.

Call me crazy but the food here wasn’t just good for a random pizzeria on Staten Island that we stopped at on the drive home from Cape May, it was good for anywhere. The service was friendly, the menu was surprisingly innovative, and the owner is passionate about his craft: creating delectable Italian fare.

Perfecto! Great family restaurant with the most excellent service, highest quality ingredients, and amazing preparation. From the greeting at the door, through the homemade bread and imported olive oil, to the long hot italian peppers, fresh moz and garlic, through the best ravioli and eggplant rollatini I’ve ever had, I’ll never eat Italian in California the same.

I went to Reggianos with the family this past Mother’s day as my last meal before surgery and I am glad I did. First I called to inquire about seating and whether they were doing a Mother’s day prix fixe or anything fancy. The owner picked up and said in a very no nonsense kinda way«nah we don’t do none of that. We are open for business as usual.» I love this place! The mussels appetizer tasted fresh in a delicious red sauce. Good sized mussels. Linguini with clams in white sauce was cooked to perfection as usual. Grilled ribeye was overcooked the first time around and they were kind enough to prepare a new steak medium rare. Delicious mushroom and onions complimented the dish. Pitcher of sangria was a crowd pleaser — subtly strong but sweet and tasty.

Hubby and I along with my parents went to this establishment for a late lunch. Needless to say we were very pleased with the overall experience. Great food, portions and service. We ordered the cold antipasta and the display alone was impeccable. Cold cuts fresh, nice assortment of Italian meats, provolone, perscuitto, sopresatta, etc. We also had the Asian calamari which was delicious. Lastly, we ordered the shrimp oregonata brickoven pizza and all were very pleased with the pizza. Nothing like a brickoven pizza. It had a very nice taste. We will definitely be coming back! Keep in mind that the portions are very generous(especially for the calamari). Either ask for a half of an order or bring more people!

I have been to Reggianos a few times. Quality food at a reasonable price I attended a small party there last night Baked clams were fantastic 2 types of fried calamari were served and both were outstanding… Asian calamari is highly recommended Filetto di pomodoro was just eh… on the other hand I thought the vodka sauce was exceptional The shrimp parmigiana is the best I have had in a restaurant The chicken marsala was meh The stuffed pork was very good. I don’t normally mention this but their Expresso was awesome, smooth and flavorful… excellent cup of coffee Service was good, I would consider using the restaurant for a small family party.
