History

Established in 1968.

Hello my name is Yulcha Michelavich.

I’m a third generation Russian, Polish and Gypsy.

Our old world family tradition was and still is arranged family marriages. In 1968 very good friends of my parents came and asked for my hand in marriage for their son. My mother and father said yes! I was only 19 and he was 18 years old. I am happy to say we are now celebrating 45 years of marriage. We have been blessed with two wonderful children and grandchildren.

Now, my wedding gown was absolutely gorgeous but I could not find the right wedding bouquet to complement it. So I decided to design and hand make my very first bouquet! Well, the rest is history. Family members and friends were in awe of my wedding bouquet. It is one of my most precious keepsakes of my wedding day.

A decde or two past, my niece was getting married and she could not find the right bouquet to match her wedding gown (Sound Familiar?). I told her I would love to make her one!

Meet the Business Owner

Yulcha M.

Business Owner

My family were famous entertainers and would play mandolins, violins, tambourines and dance for the kings and queens in Russia and Poland.

Until 1902 then my ancestors decided to leave the old world behind and move to the new world — AMERICA.

Even though, they left the old world behind they still possessed the old world traditions. Upon arriving to the new world they joined the worlds fair and traveled across the country dancing, singing and handcrafting beautiful jewelry accessories like necklaces, bangles, rings, colorful beaded handbags and custom made women hair flower ornaments and adornments.

My ancestors eventually, decided to stop roaming and settle down. They moved to a beautiful summer resort named Salisbury Beach, Mass. Where my two brother’s, my sister and I grew up.

It was a small town with not much fashion influences. However, the beauty and openness of the landscape and the beautiful flowers in the area inspired my artistic talents.
