Super 8 Sterling Heights/Detroit Area

My boyfriend and I are NEVER staying at Super 8 again, upon waking up this morning my boyfriend noticed something crawling on my pillow, I seriously freaked out and my boyfriend let the staff know and he even took the pillow with him to show them the live bedbug. The staff clearly doesn’t know what bed bugs look like because he was trying to tell us that it’s not a bed bug then he offered for us to stay in a different room for a few more hours, he didn’t even acknowledge the fact that we were sleeping with bed bugs! Now I’m seriously disgusted and can’t stop thinking about bed bugs/​Seriously this place is disgusting and not worth $ 65 a night. I don’t recommend this place to anyone! Never going back.

My wife stayed here for one night because she had an interview in the area. She got bed bugs from the place, came home the next day, started swelling up, and has pink blotches on her arms, legs and face. Now we’re going to have to pay a pest control company $ 750 to treat our home over 5 weeks and possibly get rid of some linens and furniture. When I called Super 8 they told me they’d call back in 10 days and if they didn’t, for me to just call them again. We won’t be staying at a Super 8 again.

Great a/​c great location. fine if under 49 a night.
