Vocelli Pizza

I love their pizza, it’s always my favorite go-​to place when I want to order some pizza.

The food here is amazing and all halal! Absolutely wonderful people. The only issue is, they’re usually late. Otherwise, best halal pizza, subs, and wings I’ve ever had!
Remember, no seating area. Just takeout and delivery.

Wow. First– it’s pizza. There are a ton of places so you’d think they would want to do it right. Second– take some pride in your work.
We ordered two mediums. One came without sauce and about 4 sprinkles of feta cheese. They really sent a giant circle breadstick. I called and they agreed to send a new pizza. An hour later I called back– it still wasn’t ready and the guy said the manager was out and could not be reached. 90 minutes later I got the same wrong order as a replacement??? Check out the pictures. Who is running this place?
It was also cut terribly– none of the slices were even close to even size. What a mess.
Check out other places– you’re probably not going to do worse. Who on earth is running this place? Absolutely zero stars if it was possible.

Some of the worst pizza for have had outside of the freezer isle in the grocery store. And yet it is priced as if it was top shelf. Don’t waste your taste buds or money.

What happened to this place? It totally went downhill.
Our online orders are almost always prepared wrong, the cheese on the pizza has gotten less and less and barely EVER covers the pizza now unless you get extra cheese, and the crust is often prepared wrong (undercooked, uneven edges all around, wrong crust choice). I had to have a hot sub made 3 times because it was prepared wrong. And the last gourmet pizza I received was RAW. Nothing was cooked except the crust and the cheese was melted. The crust was limp and doughy and undercooked. After baking it in my oven, the pizza dough started rising and came back to life. I am DONE with this place. As much as I love the taste of the pizza and subs here if it’s done right, I am TIRED of the same crap happening over and over again. The quality of the food, the sad service, and increasingly scant amount of chicken in subs and obvious reduced amount of cheese on pizza and other toppings is OBVIOUS. The shortcuts were probably implented by management. Either way, this used to be the only place I ordered pizza from since it opened many years ago, but the quality has clearly taken a nosedive for the worst. After the raw expensive gourmet pizza I received a week ago, I am not giving this place any more of my hard earned money.
Sorry Vocelli. This time it’s you. I am moving on.

Ordered for the first time and the last time on a Friday night. Checked out the menu online and decided on a chicken Florentine sub but did not want the onions and tomatoes. We called the order in and was told 45 minutes… about 30 minutes later they arrived and I thought… awesome. this is a good sign as a new place to order from. Well guess my surprise when I went to sign the charge slip… it said the charge was 10.99 but the internet said 7.99…huh??? Apparently there is a minimum charge they don’t tell you about on the internet. I was further surprised when I opened to find my sub had NO chicken but had tomatoes. Called them back and they told me they would send the correct sub but that it would be another 45 minutes… what we don’t rush to correct our mistakes??? 30 minutes later the sub arrived as correctly ordered but for what was a chicken sub there was very little chicken. I would estimate 30% of the sandwich was chicken less… and maybe 4 pieces of spinach on the whole sub. Basically paid 10.99 for a buttered baguette. Never again!

You guys would have a lot more business if you picked up the phone for orders during working hours. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Have always enjoyed the pizza here. Last time I ordered delivery they told me 30 to 40 min and was more like an hour. Pizza was lukewarm. Maybe just an off day

Well, I would rate this 5 stars because everything was perfect. First off, as mentioned in their website the sterling branch (46 005 Regal Plaza) serves Halal meat (Yaaay) which is very important for me, I ordered oven roasted wings and Delux pizza with my own choice of toppings, the delivery was on time and the pizza and wings were delicious and good. Also while ordering I used the bonus coupon and got a 20% discount on my total order. Everything was just perfect! Will surely order again in the future. Insha Allah

Way overpriced for what it offers. almost $ 17 for 1 large (which wasn’t even that large) chicken pizza! Would find an alternate option.

My oh my oh my! First of all, our order was delivered 1.5 hours after placing order on line. It arrived cold and way too over cooked! Never again!!!

Decent pizza, terrible service. I ordered a pizza online and arrived at this location at the estimated time my pizza would be ready. When I walked in there was no one at the counter and the ticket for my order was still hanging. A young man in the back of the store saw me and went to the office to get the owner of this location. The owner told me that my pizza would be ready in 10 minutes, so I went to the 7 – 11 in the same shopping center and retuned 5 minutes later. When I returned the owner told me agian that it would be 10 more minutes until my order was ready, then turned around and started making my pizza. It was 5pm and they weren’t busy, so I asked him why he did not start making my pizza after my first visit and he stumbled through several excuses landing on he had a phone call to take. The owner seems like a nice person, but he is incompetent owner/​manager. He could not comprehend why I was upset that he didn’t start my order after my first visit, which was when it was supposed to be ready. It was lost on him that telling me my order would be ten minutes late then not starting five minutes later was a bad thing. If your hungry for pizza and don’t have a lot of time to waste on bad service go somewhere else.

Vocelli Pizza will never win any awards, but when it comes to pizza their (standard) pies are pretty good. While a chain, Vocelli’s quality is quite a bit above the Unholy Trinity (Domino’s, Pizza Hut and Papa John’s). It has more flavor, and it feels like a bit more care is put into the pie. Again, not going to win awards, but it’ll tackle a hungry appetite and leave you satisfied in the process.
I’m a fan of their Calabrese pizza, which has a lighter taste that doesn’t feel quite so heavy (or greasy). The Garlic Spinaci is also pretty good, and the Meat Magnifico is… well, I like meat lovers, but I think they may over do it a bit there. If eating half a herd has always been on your bucket list this is the pizza you’ve been looking for.
The only pizza I’ve had that I don’t like is their «Sicilian» style. If you want to experience Vocelli’s Sicilian without spending the money you’d be better off with a Stouffer’s French Bread Pizza. It’s about the same thing, but with more flavor. And I really, REALLY hate to say that.
That said, I and my roommates have no complaints with the rets of Vocelli’s offerings. It’s good a good house pleaser.

After reading the reviews from other people, I was a bit skeptical, but I they were close and I have heard the pizza is good.
So I called to order and the man who answered the phone was very nice. He took my order and it was ready in less time than he told me it would be.
When I went to pick it up, the man who took my payment was incredibly friendly.
I know the other reviews say the customer service was horrible, but I (thankfully) did not receive the same service.
I would go back.

I have been in my car and called this store on 3 separate occasions and asked if they had any specials or deals. Each time they said no. They are completely uninterested in their customer service. You can call any other pizza place in Sterling and they can at the very least tell you at least one special. They have lost my business 3 times in a row — and I don’t think I will try again. It is a shame — since they actually have good pizza.

One and a half stars. Ordered a chicken rustico and a mushroom, green pepper, and tomato pizza for the office meeting, plus a half-​dozen bottles of water, and two-​liters of Pepsi and diet Pepsi. Delivery was close enough to estimated this time. Way too much dough on the pizza, every slice was thick and bready with an inch and a half of crust. Artichokes were mushy, chicken was super dry, and spinach was just short of burnt. At least it wasn’t greasy and they remembered to include the styrofoam plates we requested this time.

I would have given it a 4 star rating, but they changed from the little mini pepperoni to a full size slice that just doesn’t have the same flavor and takes quite a bit away from the pizza. But past that, it’s one of the better small chain pizza places, and well worth checking out. Maybe you will like the bigger pepperoni better than me.

Vocelli pizza, IMHO, has the best pizza around as far as small chains go. Interesting thing to note; out of all the usual places I order pizza, vocelli’s reheats the best (oven: 350, 12 or so minutes = like the day you got it.)

Great for delivery. Better then Pizza hut not as good as sit down Italian. The antipasta pizza and meat lovers produced good results with my crew. Nice crust, great white sauce, good toppings likeartichoke hearts and capicola, fast, friendly service.

This delivery joint is much better than the national chains like Papa’s or Pizza Hut or Domino’s.
