My stylist is Crystal. This is my first Unilocal review, in fact I signed up just to tell you about Crystal. She has been doing my hair for 18 months now and I love her. She’s brilliant with color and I love my cut every single time!!!
She just moved to a new salon and frankly I’d follow her anywhere.

6 stars out of 5! I can’t say enough amazing things about Crystal. Crystal is the absolute best! She’s very professional, friendly, and goes above and beyond for her clients. Crystal is a true artist/​mad scientist when it comes to color. She’s not afraid of anything crazy, she’s taken me from bright purple to metallic silver and has helped improve the condition of my hair in the process.

Here at Stretto Salon with my «fav» colorist Crystal. I’ve been with Crystal over a year and I’m so happy to have found her, amazing colorist and very professional. I will be following her over to the New Priscilla’s Salon on McBean Pkwy. Call her for an appt 895−905−1212.

I have to add another review. Crystals behavior has turned from plain caustic to stalking and harrassing. I don’t need to go into details, because I already did. I’ve never had such a nightmare experience with a hairdresser before. She’s unprofessional, nosy, and then if you do anything to piss her off she acts like a bad child sending harrassing texts for months. I’m STILL getting harrassing texts from her and I’ve told her to stop numerous times because she’s accused me of not being a Christian, has thrown personal things back in my face. If you don’t want someone in your business, constantly harrassing you .stay away. I don’t get anything out of this. I just don’t feel safe with her. She’s distressing and after repeated attempts to tell her to stop she won’t.

My stylist is Nicole! For me, she is the best. I always get what I want and my hair always feels so nice and soft.
She’s a great stylist who cares about what the client wants. She listens to what you want and will discuss any difficulties that your hair type might have in regards to the style you want. I have very naturally curly hair and if I pick a style that works better with fine hair she will tell me and discuss how I can best get that style with little difficulty. And… she has always been right.
She has made little suggests to incorporate into a cut and explains the look. I usually try them and always have been glad I did.
She understands hair.
Nicole knows what I like and don’t like. For example, I’m not a hair spray person so she never even reaches for the spray can. If she has a new product she thinks might work, she’ll ask if I’d like to try it… never assumes.
And all the people in the salon are so sweet. In no time, everyone seems to at least recognize the clients of others and they always say hello. It’s a very friendly atmosphere.

Layla is the best. She understands her clients and will give you a makeover that makes you really happy.

Best brows ever! I love Jody. Been going to Jody for over 3 years. Have referred several friends never disappointed! The best!!! Nicole has been doing my hair for 4 years & I get soo many compliments. Absolutely love them. It’s great coming in & getting everything done.

I have to start off by saying the appointment was made for 1 o’clock. The colorist/​stylist was late almost 40 minutes to the appointment. She should have just called and asked to reschedule the appointment; bottom line.
My friend had her hair colored a washed out gray. The process was a little weird, and the colorist left the store one time to go get lunch while my friend was in foils. I thought that was weird.
The front desk lady is a doll. She’s very nice and very enjoyable to talk too along with everyone who works at Stretto, although I can’t begin to tell how now many times (20) I was asked «are you getting thirsty noww?». She brought me toilet paper from the bathroom instead of tissues… At least I got something so I didn’t complain.
The color and cut came out beautiful. However, it took 4 hours. I can’t really justify how it took 4 hours to color hair that was already bleached from an ombré, gray.
My friend still had to come in the day after because the stylist said «I wish it came out better.». So she wanted to redye the hair again to see if it would be more intense. A few of her comments of the hair were a little awkward too. «I mean its realllyyyyy gray. Hmm I don’t know».
The best part of everything was when Crystal said «I’ve never seen hair bubble before.». If any of you know what happens when hair bubbles with bleach, you are FRYING the hair. She burned half of my friend’s head which she left $ 300 bucks out of pocket, extremely frizzy ends, and BAD damage (had to cut off).
I will NEVER recommend Crystal. Unprofessional, complained about us not telling her it was for a ceremony 4 hours later, made passive-​aggressive comments, and was just unprofessional.
$ 297 was the total bill. I thought for what was done it should have been around the low-​mid 100’s. Its a higher end salon, but in a bad location for what it wants to be.
Disgusting. Clean environment, but horrible job. A good stylist/​colorist with a good clientele shouldn’t have to lie and harass others on her work like the other reviews I’ve read either.

My first Unilocal review and it has to go to CRYSTAL from Stretto Salon & Spa! She fixed my hair with patience, entertainment, and swag! Didnt even notice the time pass! She talked me through the entire process from what to expect and how to maintain my hair. Of course, since my hair was brown, to get to the color i want has to be more than one session (unless i want my hair to fall out)! My hair was down passed my belly button! But she made it clear and obvious with my cut and balayage that shes a pro! Got the layers i wanted, the length that compliments my small head, lol, and the blonde balayage that will set off the next step to getting my light ash brown with tints of ash blonde! Got my next appt set for next Friday already! If yall want proof. ill keep yall posted with pictures and yall are more than welcome to bug Crystal yourself! Shes personable, down to earth, and HILARIOUS!. And most importantly, she honest! If there were more Unilocal stars to offer, id give it to her and the hospitality of the staff as well as the owner! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Cant wait for my second session!

Ok. So you can now stop searching Unilocal for a new hair salon. This place is the best! In particular is my go to girl Crystal. She did an amazing job on my cut AND color. She listens to what you want and BAM you got it. She’s awesome! Also, Jody is amazing with brows. I’ve only let 1 other person touch my brows but Jody is the best and my new brow girl. These are my go to girls from now on! Oh, and the nail place a couple doors down is fantastic. One stop shop. Beautiful location. Not crowded. Grabbed a Starbucks before my appt. Win Win Win all the way around!

I love Leyla!!! She is THE BEST!!! I have been her client for about 8 years… She will go above and beyond to make her clients happy. I love that she listens to what I want and has her clients best interest. She has years of experience and knows her business like no other. I usually get a hair cut, color and highlights… She usually takes about 4hrs because she is a perfectionist and loves her job. She is alway happy and will always greet you with a smile. Love love her and I highly recommend her.

I was looking for somewhere new to get my hair cut, i looked up «Hair Salons» on Unilocal and Stratto by far had the best reviews and great customer satisfaction. All the reviews said they didn’t charge much for hair cuts (55 dollars or less) so I was excited about trying this place out.
I booked my appointment online for the next day, and showed up for my hair cut. I showed up, sat down, and showed the woman pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like. I instilled my trust in her and let her cut away.
I ended up being extremely unsatisfied with my cut. The woman didn’t listen to me at all, and decided to do what SHE wanted to do rather than what I wanted. I also paid over 100 dollars, 45 dollars more than I had expected to pay!
I got home, cried a bit, and called the salon telling them how upset I was. Not only had I gotten a terrible hair cut, I had over paid by way too much.
They told me I could come back the next day, but I had to have the same woman cut my hair which I was really unhappy about. I told them I wanted my money back because I was so unhappy.
I showed up the day after, and had my hair recut. It took over 2 hours for the woman to finally get my hair the way I wanted, and she only gave me 20 dollars back.
2 days, 4 ½ hours, and 80 dollars later, I finally got what I wanted in the first place.

A beautiful and modern salon, Stretto is a real stand-​out in Santa Clarita Valley. Nicole has been doing my hair for a few years now (I was sooo lucky to find her when I moved to the area), and she is excellent. My cut and color is always perfect — she knows exactly what I want when I’m ready for a little change — and both last a long time. You will never want to move from the shampoo bowl as her scalp massage is worth the price of the style!
Nicole and Stretto are a great combination — you’ll love the service :-).

Stretto is a beautiful, new salon located on The Old Road in the shopping center where Albertson’s used to be. My stylist there is Mandy Marchese. I’ve lived in SCV for 13 years and have been through several hair stylists, no of whom got it right as consistently and expertly as Mandy does. I’ve been going to her for about 7 years now and what makes her great is her perfect combination of professionalism, friendliness and comprehensive knowledge of her trade.
She has a keen eye for beauty and style, a true understanding of the physical nature of hair as well as a firm grasp on the science behind chemical treatments and the ability to successfully communicate all of it in an understandable way. And finally, she truly appreciates her clients and she shows it.
I give Stretto 5 stars but I’d give Mandy Marchese 10 stars.

I was referred by a friend to see Leyla, I have my Own hair Stylist but I decided to give this place a try even though I had to drive and hour away. This place was Wonderful, great costumer service.
I would highly recommend Leyla to all my friends and anyone who is looking for a fantastic stylist and colorist. LEYLA’s Work is amazing, I was so happy with my hair color that I will go back and see her again!!!

Stretto salon is the best salon I’ve ever been to. Not to mention, I’m very picky with my hair. Crystal did cut and colour, balayage style. She did an amazing job and she really knows what you want even though I had a hard time telling her what i really want. I really love my hair now, and will definitely go back to her. Worth it for my first review eveeeeerrr!

They were all amazing!!! It was a spur of the moment call and got in two days later. I showed a picture told them my concerns and told them to go for it. They nailed it! I LOVE my hair. My eyebrows came out beautiful.
