JH Simpson Company, Inc. remains to be the oldest full service HVAC and sheet metal fabrication company in Stockton. JH Simpson Company was founded by the late Joe Simpson as a sheet metal and furnace shop on East Main Street in Stockton, California. A short time later, the shop was moved to Wilson Way in the old Maxwell Motors building and remained there until 1972 when the company was purchased by Stew McGaw and his wife, Nancy. In 1974, they had a new modern facility built at the present location on Coronado Avenue with room to expand.

In 1977, the operation was purchased and managed by co-​owner & recently retired, William J. (Bill) Relf, and Marvin G. Rosato. Now under the leadership of Michael Lawson, the successful management and vast knowledge gained from over 70 years in business still drives the company’s success by establishing old school values of quality work and attentive service.
