I’m sorry to report that the service customer follow up is very poor. No phone call return when promised. Emailed and confirm they got email but never return email or call back. Left me hanging after I spent more then 30 minutes speaking to them to confirm what I wanted repaired. I guess I have to go somewhere else for better customer service.

Just when I started thinking about selling my boat due to the stress of it not running, these guys saved the day !!! Now my boat runs great, and my family can go back to enjoying our summer. Thanks !!!

So far, within my limited scope, they’ve done a really good job. I work for a government agency and we take our boat there at least once a year for servicing. Our boat is a 19′ aluminum v-​hull with a 60 hp Mercury motor and other than servicing, we’ve pretty much only had a starter replaced.
I will say that I don’t pay for the service, so I’m not sure of their prices. What I do know is that their service is quick and good. They are very friendly and have gotten things done quickly. We need quick because we use our boat generally about 3 days a week; it’s used for work and it’s used a lot. The only reason I don’t give them a 5 star rating is that I know don’t their prices! Other than that, I’ve been pleased.

Update:
I’m upgrading my overall rating. The boat is now running as it was two months ago and they did a GREAT job with re-​upholstery.

A little upset that they tried to charge extra to deliver my boat before the weekend. I’ll likely go somewhere else in the future

A great place to get your Johnson serviced.
I like having outboard work and annual servicing performed here because Paradise Point Engine & Boat Repair is one of the few shops that are Bombardier/​Johnson/​Evinrude certified (and they’re right on the Delta). You can always find shops specializing in the ubiquitous Mercury brand but experienced wrenches who really know their Johnny-​Rudes are harder to come by.
They’re easy to deal with both in person and on the phone and if you like doing your own work they can special order whatever parts are required. They’re also just a hop and a skip from the marina (Paradise Point Marina, an altogether separate business) which makes it very convenient to make test runs after picking up your boat. Once, when I needed a spur of the moment prop change after getting off the water, they were able to accommodate the job request right in their parking lot. It’s a small, simple job but the fact that they did it right then and there gets bonus points.
