Update: my stylist Linda has relocated to Studio 9. Thought about staying at Fringe but Linda knows my hair better than anyone. I’ve been going to her for years. Different location but still the same great service.

Love love love it here. After we moved to OH, I bounced around salons a bit… until I found Fringe. Great atmosphere, and Charlyn is great with color, I highly recommend her!

I am so happy that I found this place since moving to Kent for grad school a year and a half ago. Finally a place where they actually listen to what you want your cut to be! They have a great atmosphere, beautiful décor, and wonderful stylists. The first time I went I just wanted my long layers re-​done, but I recently chopped off over half of my mane, and got bangs. I could not be happier with the result. I get my hair cut by Linda every time and I love her.

if i could give zero stars i would, i showed up this Saturday with the intentions of getting my nails filled. thinking yes it maybe busy, but the reviews convinced me it would be worth it. Let me tell you it was not. i showed up and the receptionist said in about 15 minuets someone could take me. this was shocking due to the fact it was late afternoon and i assumed they would be very busy. i thought i lucked out and was very excited thinking i had found my new nail spot. after a half an hour a young lady showed up and told us that they only had three nails tech on duty (For a Saturday that is crazy!) and that two of them didn’t do acrylics well enough to even try to do mine. This is outrageous to me! The young lady who told me all of this had zero confidence in herself or her other worker. With all that i just said no thank you and went to a lovely salon in Akron instead. I don’t understand why they found it okay to wait 30 minuets before informing me they couldn’t do anything for me. it was ridiculous and i will not be coming back to find out if the fill would have even been worth it, i am so upset.

Awesome facials and waxing by Judee! Have been following Judee for years– she’s found a home at Fringe which recently relocated at a new, tweaked out space! Judee really gets to know you and is very knowledgeable and up to date about skin care– genuinely interested in creating what is best for you and what works best for your skin. Great waxing services too– I have sensitive skin and haven’t been burned. I go once a month as I view facials a necessity for maintenance and often get complemented on my skin, which honestly had issues before I started. Highly recommend Judee– talk with her, get a routine– you won’t regret it!

I recently moved to Stow, and I was looking for a new place to get my hair done. I started my research and found Fringe on Unilocal!It was very clean and a nice atmosphere. I got my hair done by Linda and she was great! My hair turned out amazing! I will be returning.

I came to Fringe for my first bikini wax. I was so nervous I was shaking a little bit. Stephanie immediately made me feel comfortable. I didn’t feel self conscious at all even though it was my first time getting waxed. We talked the entire time so it helped get my mind of the pain. Stephanie really knows what she’s doing! She did a great job and I will continue getting waxed by her. I definitely recommend her to everyone thinking about getting waxed. Summer is coming!

Best place to get my hair cut and highlighted. I’m always satisfied. Everyone who works here is very friendly, and the atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing.

Went to salon for a hair color change. I am happy with the way the color turned out, but very unhappy with the damage and breakage I’m experiencing now.
To remove existing color, a bleach bath was applied to my hair. While blowing it dry to prepare it for color, the assistant used a bristle brush, pulling and tugging on my hair the entire time. Additional color and more bleach for highlights were then applied. I would expect an experienced professional to know that you don’t run a brush through just bleached hair since it may cause damage.

I love the atmosphere and my stylist. The prices are really good too for hair services.

So, I may or may not be addicted to coming here, but anyway. I am one of those crazies who wants dark red hair one day and blonde the next. In 3 months time Anna was able to achieve that for me, and my hair is still in perfect condition!!! I also got a Brazilian Blowout from her. Now I have to say I was skeptical, just because it’s super pricey. However, I couldn’t be happier! My hair looks and feels amazing, and is so easy to manage. I know it’s a good distance from Cleveland, but it is beyond worth the drive. Thank you Fringe and Anna!

This little gem of a salon is tucked away in the Oregon Trail Plaza in Stow. My two girlfriends and I visited for mani/​pedi girl session a couple of weeks before a wedding. I hate to admit it but while I have a loyalty to my hair stylist in Green I follow special deals for my nails. Groupon was doing a special at Fringe so we all decided to go together on a «girl day». An added aspect I enjoyed was on their website you can fill out a «appointment request» form and someone will get back to you quickly via phone or e-​mail.
First off, the Fringe people are FABULOUS. Not only were they able to get all 3 of us in for mani/​pedis at the same time, they seemed sincere in the effort to help group us together. They had two girls working on us and they were so friendly and it almost seemed like the 5 of us had been friends forever and were just hanging out. They were extremely patient and had genuine suggestions for nail color (let’s be honest 3 mani/​pedis are going to take awhile). While we were there my two girlfriends decided to get their eyebrows waxed as well after the nails and the girls at Fringe were only happy to help.
Not only were the girls at Fringe extremely awesome, but the salon atmosphere was comfortable, open, and inviting… all elements I associate with a relaxing day trip to the salon. The salon is in a shopping plaza, but it looked like they had expanded into two stores so the whole salon is open and airy. The elegant décor made me feel as if I was at a high price salon.
I would love to go back to Fringe solely for the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. It’s a place I could get loyal to about my nails. However, the prices are a little out of my limited budget. Prices are not crazy high, but like I said I really feel like I can only justify a mani/​pedi when I have a special deal of $ 40 max for both. Total for spa mani/​pedi at regular price = $ 68 (again I’ve seen worse).
