I needed my carpet stretched. The estimate from Denver Carpet Repair was right in line with 2 other companies. I chose this company based on positive reviews(here and elsewhere) and because I liked that Jason Hall, the owner, did all his own work. He also said that he guarantees stretching for life and transfers the warranty to new owners of the house, although I did not receive any such guarantee or warranty in writing. Jason called before arriving to let me know he was on schedule for 8:30 a.m. He even arrived 5 minutes early. After he looked over all the areas that needed stretching, he went to work. He was friendly and courteous. Unfortunately I found his quality of work to be poor. Jason seemed to really rush through the job even though he told me it was a slow time of year for him and that he did not have another appointment until late in the afternoon. He was in such a hurry that he did not trim the stretched carpet around the heating vents, which are now partially covered with carpet so the vent covers do not fit. But he was quite overzealous in trimming the stretched carpet around the edges, which left gaps between the carpet and the baseboards. I had him try to re-stretch those areas, but in a couple of places he could not stretch the carpet enough to reach the baseboards so there are still gaps. In one place the gap was big enough that he grabbed a piece of carpet remnant and stuffed it in. He left all the other carpet remnants lying around the house for me to pick up. I also do not think he did a very good job in tight or odd-shaped places where I understand stretching can be difficult, but I would think that an experienced professional would be able to at least make it look better than it did. And he made an area where the carpet meets tile look worse. Arriving on time and being friendly are not enough to earn an A rating. Due to the mediocre quality of the work, I cannot recommend this company.

I rarely post unless I receive excellent and affordable service. I would recommend Jason again. I actually overslept and missed my morning appointment with Jason but he was really nice and understanding. He didn’t charge me for it and was even willing to come back the same night. Very gracious and would use him again. I posted pictures of the work that he did. He was fast, prompt and professional!

Jason was recommended to us and I am so happy we called him. He was friendly, punctual and did an amazing job cleaning our carpet! We have two children and a dog and he was able to make it look new!

We have a house up on the market. When potential buyers had it inspected, they removed some of the carpet from the basement. Unfortunately for us, they both decided not to buy the house, and their inspector didn’t put it back properly. We needed to get it stretched and reinstalled, and fairly quickly. Jason at Denver Carpet Repair came through for us and did a great job. Not only was he the only person to answer the phone of the five companies I called(of which only one other actually returned my voicemail), he had availability on the day we needed and was flexible on timing. He called to confirm, showed up exactly on time, did the job correctly and efficiently, and charged a very low rate. Hopefully, you don’t ever need to call a carpet repair company. If you do, Denver Carpet Repair is a good pick.
