Dr. Ash is the best dentist I’ve ever had. I started with him 6 months before my high school reunion, and by the time of the reunion my teeth looked exactly like they did when I was 19 years old. Perfect.

I really like Dr. Ash and his staff. I appreciate that he is good on his word as he fixed a tooth that he had fixed then broke with in the last year. And, his new facilities are awesome. It’s like being at the W Hotel

Love him. Been going to him for 3 years. He fixed my teeth and got them healthy, he’s also done cosmetic work and even put a diamond on my tooth! Will never ever go anywhere else.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Ash and his crew at his practice and left smiling literally from the inside out. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I had been looking for a dentist since i’m new to LA and I came across his practice while I googled dentists in LA. I chose him because the practice looked clean and professional which is always my top priority when I look for a new dentist or Doctor. Everything exceeded my expectations and will for sure be back.

For the past 10 years, I had been with the same dentist. I decided to try someone new because I wanted a local dentist in Studio City.
Dr. Ash lived up to and exceeded my expectations. Not only did he locate, diagnose and correct flaws in my teeth that I didn’t know existed; Dr. Ash actually helped to improve my smile.
Thanks to him, my teeth will last longer and look better. He has solutions that I never even knew existed. Dr. Ash is a young and hip guy who uses state-​of-​the-​art technology throughout his beautiful newly remodeled facility. His entire staff is top notch as well.
The guy has to be the best dentists in Studio City hands-​down.

Dr Ash is the gentlest dentist I’ve ever had! I’ve been coming to him for a few years now. And I’m so happy I found him he’s so great!
Even at my first visit he was very nonjudgmental about the condition of my teeth. Because of fear I hadn’t been to a dentist in years and my dental hygiene was poor. But because of his optimistic attitude about of the future of my teeth, I was excited to began the road to this happy, healthy smile I have today.

Dr. Ash is the BEST! I moved to LA from Dallas, Texas about a year and a half ago. I knew no one, and had no idea where to for my dental work. I randomly walked into Dr. Ash’s office one day, after visiting a few other dental offices in my area and instantly felt at home. He is SO sweet, extremely intelligent, patient, detail oriented, and very skilled at what he does. He always makes me feel comfortable and is very considerate. I am certain he is the best dentist in town, and I won’t go anywhere else. HIghly recommend him. :)

I went to Dr. Ash because the dentist I’ve been going to my entire life kept cancelling my appointments and so I realized it was time to find a new dentist. I settled on Dr. Ash because of the stellar reviews on Unilocal.The reviews were spot on. My biggest fear was going to a dentist who would charge me an arm and a leg for work that I didn’t need. My first visit was really good — Dr. Ash is very pleasant and was conservative with his dental plan for me. My teeth were cleaned thoroughly and, after all these years, I was finally taught the proper way to floss. On my second visit, Dr. Ash took care of a discolored tooth that caused me so much insecurity for so long. My previous dentist didn’t catch that my old root canal had decayed, which caused the discoloration. Thank goodness Dr. Ash caught it and I was able to avoid getting a veneer. Even though he had to do far more than he expected, I only had to pay what I was originally quoted. I am happy to have found Dr. Ash and highly recommend him!

Friendly, professional, very talented. I highly recommend using these guys for your dental needs. I’ve had horrible dental service in the past and these guys guided me every step of the way. I love them all and I can’t wait to be a lifetime customer!

I literally drive from south Orange County to Studio City to see Dr. Ash. Dr. Ash has been my family’s dentist for over 7 years. Dr. Ash never over-​sells me on unnecessary procedures and truly cares about the dental health of his patients. Dr. Ash’s dental technique is consistent to an artist. I rarely ever have pain because of his gentle touch and his understanding of the anatomy of nerves/​pain centers in your mouth and gums. Dr. Ash always calls me the following day to check on my status. Dr. Ash employs great hygienists that have the same touch and skill as Dr. Ash and I use them for my routine cleanings.
Dr. Ash has remodeled most of his office and he has state of the art equipment. It has a nice modern look and feels like you are being cared by a true professional.
I give Dr. Ash my highest recommendation. Call him and make an appointment to see ASAP!

Dr Ash Is the best dentist I’ve ever came across in my life — he takes every extra step to make sure you are happy and comfortable. He makes sure to take his time and finish the job perfectly — he asks during the process if you’re doing well and works with you the whole way through surgery. His staff is extremely professional and nice — very lovely people and I wish to have Dr Ash as my dentist as long as I possibly can.

Although I couldn’t become a patient of Dr Ash due to financial reasons. Words can not describe the care and attention I got from him and all his staff of my first initial consultation visit. He genuinely cared about my pain and the overall health of my mouth.
I would go back there in a heartbeat if I get a better dental insurance or get in a better financial state.
It’s not easy to find that in the dental industry. Highly recommended.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Ash! In a sea full of average dentists he stands out above the rest. He is a trustworthy and skilled dentist who is excellent at his craft and truly cares for his patients. Dr. Ash is one of the few dentists that I’ve gone to that knows how to put me at ease in the dental chair. He always walks me through each procedure as he is performing it so I know what’s coming next. Randi and his entire staff is friendly and professional. I had Invisiline done there and love the results. The dental hygienist there (Jasmine) is awesome as well and I don’t dread cleanings anymore as she makes it painless.
If you dread going to the dentist and want a dentist who makes you feel comfortable while getting the job done right the first time then Dr. Ash is the dentist for you! I won’t go anywhere else.

I saw Doctor Ash’s clinic after doing yoga next door. I checked the Unilocal reviews and decided to try him out. I must say, it’s been the best dental experience I’ve had! Great results, very accommodating, fast, no pain, great music, very high-​tech, and great people! From the office manager Randi down to the whole team (Didi, Jasmine) – the whole experience was efficient and painless! Highly recommend them!

My husband use to laugh at me. I used to drive to Santa Barbara, my home town, 2 – 3 times a year just for my dentist. After living in Los Angeles for 7 years and experiencing 6 different dentists, I have FINALLY found an amazing dental office and it is only 5 minutes from home. I am not a normal Unilocaler, so I hope this gets posted, because Dr. Ash, Jasmine (cleanings) and Randi (office) are exceptional. The best cleanings, dental care and service in LA. Wow! Finally a dentist that knows what he’s talking about and cares to give amazing service. I drive from beverly hills to see Dr Ash all the way in studio city and have never thought twice about the distance. Great office and staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

I was an inherited client. However, everything improved. Dr. Ash brings great value-​add to his service with the latest technology permitting the patient to be able to see everything in his/​her own mouth, the work that needs to be done, what’s been done, and the just taken x-​rays. Plus the non-​stop music of your choice.
Dr. Ash and his colleagues are extremely patient /​service centered. His receptionist and office administrator Randi is wonderfully multi-​talented, handling the clients with charm, a laugh, and a smile and the administration with efficiency and effectiveness. Dr. Ash and his team treat just about every dental problem imaginable with care and consideration (and if they don’t, he knows who does). After recommending my dentist, Dr. Alexander Ash (Studio City, CA.) to all of my friends, I realized that I wanted to also write a formal recommendation about him and his whole staff.
I have been a patient of his since he opened his practice several years ago and have been there many times over the years for a variety of reasons (getting a cleaning, having a cavity filled, getting a crown replaced, etc.) and always leave the office feeling that I had been in best hands, from Dr. Ash to Randi (the office manager) to Trina (the dental assistant) to Jasmine (the dental hygienist) — every one of them very kind, talented and at the cutting edge of their profession!
Dr. Ash is a truly gifted dentist who gives the best possible care to every single patient — always thorough and always taking the time to keep the patient comfortable every step of the way, whether it’s a simple procedure or a very complicated one. Trina, his dental assistant works in great harmony with him to assist him in his work and make sure that the patient continues to be comfortable throughout.
Randi, the office manager, handles the setting of the appointments and the billing with great kindness, and always explains the bill, answers all of my questions and works closely with the people at my insurance plan to get the best payment situation for me.
And I cannot say enough about Jasmine, the dental hygienist, who is extraordinary and has given me the best, most thorough and also the gentlest cleanings of my life. It is because of her encouragement and instructions that my dental hygiene is now the best it’s ever been!
There are doctors who are kind or talented, but if you are looking for a doctor that is both — you have just found one! I feel so very grateful to have my dental health entrusted to Dr. Ash and his staff and their superb and loving care.

I have been going to Dr. Ash since he opened his practice in Studio City. His hygienist is amazing… fun, positive, encouraging and helpful. Unfortunately, I don’t have the best teeth so having someone who does a great cleaning is really important. Dr. Ash is a nice guy who takes time to explain what is happening and what he is doing which I appreciate. He is amazingly responsive when there is an emergency – called me back quickly and offered the names of dentists nearby when I was out of town. Dr. Friedman who pulled a tooth and implanted my implant was gentle and meticulous. He called to make sure I was okay that night. I would highly recommend them. They are updating the office so it looks pretty dated now but their plans are amazing.

It was purely by accident that I became a patient of Dr. Ash! In fact, I have chosen to remain his patient despite the fact that he is an out-​of-​network dentist on my Anthem PPO policy because of his expertise and skill, and his office’s professionalism, courtesy, and modern way of maintaining patient records and appointments.
Initially I thought Dr. Ash was in-​network on my insurance and so I made an appointment with his office for a cleaning because of the convenience of his office location to my house. My initial impression when checking-​in was positive. Dr. Ash is a really friendly, younger dentist with a penchant for all the latest state-​of-​the-​art gadgets and dental equipment to compliment the latest advances in dental care. A very nice assitant took my x-​rays, which appeared instantly in electronic format on the large computer monitor in front of me. The special software this office uses for x-​rays allows Dr. Ash to zoom in and out to see (and show the patient) the exact area of cavities, etc., as opposed to relying on old-​school 1.5″ films that are more difficult to read.
Dr. Ash perfomed the cleaning himself, was gentle, informative about what to expect, and relatively fast. My teeth looked about 2 shades whiter from just the cleaning alone.
Turns out, I had a few cavities that required filling and before I was even out of my chair from my cleaning, Hootan, Dr. Ash’s office manager, came in with a comprehensive print-​out of all the work I required, the costs, the anticipated insurance coverage, and a suggested schedule for maximizing my appointment times.
This is where I determined that Dr. Ash was not in-​network for me, and although this meant my financial exposure would be slightly higher with him than with an in-​network dentist, both Dr. Ash and Hootan worked with me to come up with a fair arrangement making it more compelling for me to stick with them.
The only potential deal breaker for me would have been if Dr. Ash didn’t have any non-​conventional business hours because I can’t be skipping lots of work for cavity fillings, etc. I was hoping they were open on Saturdays, but turns out, they’re open late on Mondays — until 9 p.m. Even better! Who wants to waste a weekend at the dentist?!
Within a week I had my first Monday evening appointment. My appointment was at 6:30p.m. for two fillings. Dr. Ash and his assistant were all ready when I arrived, offered me my choice of music to stream on pandora (makes a huge difference to listen to music while you’re having your teeth drilled), turned the ‘massage’ funtion on my chair, and we’re done with everything, and I was on my merry within one hour. I was really impressed. I’m not scared of the dentist, but was pleasantly surprised at how uneventful Dr. Ash makes fillings. Apart from the general annoyance of having to keep your mouth open, neither the shot, nor the procedure hurt in the slightest.
Since that appointment, Hootan keeps in touch with me by email, which I MUCH prefer to games of phone-​tag, is always very kind and inquiring of how I’m doing, and thinking of helpful ways to make my appointments with Dr. Ash more convenient and productive, so I’m not wasting time. I also get ‘reminder’ text messages, which are optional, but I love. I really like that Dr. Ash’s practice is current with the latest dental care, modern, and tech savvy — the fact that they’re nice and pleasant to chat with and are 2 minutes from my house, makes it even better!
