I have used kitchen factory to help me remodel a few rooms in my house in the last 6 years. I have always dealt with JAN. She is very professional and very helpful. Also the people that she has recommended to install the cabinets, granite and even where I could purchase handles were top notch. Everything was completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Kitchen Factory to anyone who is remodeling/​redoing their kitchen or bathroom or maybe their Den. Which I Just recently finished. Thank you Kitchen Factory for jobs well done and all your advice.

American Builder Construction Company has worked with Kitchen Factory on various projects. As a General Contractor we tend to be on time schedules and the Kitchen Factory knew just how to maintain that outlook. Working with them has been GREAT, they are Punctual, have Great Designs, Nice Quality and have been easy to work with.

Absolutely never going back. This review is focused on the man who is their person in the store who works with clients. Their designer. My husband and I were there last week. We brought samples of our flooring and other materials work with. We are planing full Kitchen and bathroom remodeling. We entered the store. There was 1 other customer. We walked bu smiled and said good morning to both of them. The customer smiled and graciously said good morning. The representative did not look over or respond. Never made the effort to even say he would be with us shortly. We made our own selections and when he was available after finishing with his customer attempted to discuss the selections with hi,. We asked if they will send someone to assist with measurements and layout. The answer we received floored us!!! «Not until we see if you can afford to pay for these cabinets.» My husband and I were so offended we left. By the way he would not tell us what they cost. We are 2 working Professionals who own 4 properties. Yes I’m pretty sure we can afford the cabinets, but he was the most rude and condescending representative and this has made us sour on ever doing any of our projects with the company. He put the CUSS in Customer Service. I do not know if he is an owner or just an employee but we would never want this guy representing the 3 companies my husband and I own. Horrible, unpleasant experience. This is the first time I have ever written a negative review on business. That’s how much it bothered us.

I love my new kitchen and enjoyed working with Jana at the Kitchen Factory. My kitchen was a challenge because it’s a galley kitchen. I had an old fashioned service porch and a small galley kitchen with things stacked everywhere. We removed the wall between the two rooms and made a longer galley kitchen. Jana’s design works so well. I now have plenty of storage and the kitchen is open and functional. I wanted chef-​style appliances and also wanted to include a stackable washer/​dryer. Jana was able to make it all fit, make it beautiful and still give me plenty of counter space and storage. She designed the kitchen with one side that had the sink, range and dishwasher which left lots of counter space and the other side has the stackable washer/​dryer, panty, broom closet and refrigerator but also has 5 feet of counter space and even a small book shelf for me to store my cookbooks. This design with the lower appliances on one side and the taller appliances/​cabinets on the other side made the kitchen much more open. The biggest challenge was the washer/​dryer area because of where the back door was located. Jana designed a cabinet to enclose the washer/​dryer. I wasn’t sure how closed in it would look or if it would be convenient to open and close cabinet doors every time I did wash. Jana kept telling me to try it and live with it for awhile before deciding to do something different. I’m so glad I followed her advice because I love how it looks and it IS functional. She was always very concerned that I’d be happy. My whole project went very smooth. I would recommend the Kitchen Factory

Jana Lowenthal at the Kitchen Factory is a true kitchen pro. I was doing a whole house remodel and I took my architect’s initial kitchen and pantry layout to her and she made sensible aesthetic and practical changes that preserved the architect’s vision while enhancing its usability (and saving me some money as well)!
From door and drawer selections to help with finishes (in my case painted) and add ons she had helpful suggestions. The actual design process was incredibly efficient and she was great at coordinating appliance specs to make sure everything would be right the first time. In fact, she went beyond the call of duty by contacting both the manufacturer (Thermador) and a local appliance vendor to make certain that the refrigerator door would operate as desired.
Delivery was timely and she arranged a period of free storage while the site was prepped. She provided a referral to an excellent contractor who installed the cabinets perfectly at a fair price. One minor error on the order was corrected quickly at no cost.
Throughout the process, Jana was highly responsive and proactive making sure that I was both kept informed and happy. My entire experience with her couldn’t have been better.
Two final observations:
— I started this review stating that Jana was a true kitchen design professional and this is important when you’re planning on remodeling a kitchen. Her experience designing hundreds, if not thousands of kitchens means she know all of the tricks of the trade — both practical and aesthetic. While and architect may design a thing of beauty, not all have the specialist kitchen knowledge to make a kitchen work perfectly for the end user. While a cabinet maker may offer great service as part of your general contractor’s team, again, they are not (generally) kitchen design pros. And don’t get me started on the big box stores! ‘Nuff said
— If you are considering painted cabinetry, you will get no better paint finish than that available though one of the manufacturers Jana represents. The real selling point to me was the ability to specify any Benjamin Moore color. This was a real plus — because we we all know how many whites, blacks and everything in-​between are out there and no one have to settle for stock colors.
Hire Jana Lowenthal at the Kitchen Factory — you won’t regret it. In fact — I was was so happy with the kitchen cabinets I hired her again to do my master vanity with equally outstanding results.

I recently completed a complete remodel of my dining rom, galley kitchen, powder room and laundry room, and Kitchen Factory handled my cabinet design and layout and was the project coordinator. The cabinets are of top quality and arrived pretty much on schedule. The design work by K F was top notch as was their documentation for the contractor.
While no project of this size goes from start to finish without a hitch, it was by and large very smooth and an enjoyable process. The finished results are fantastic in every room and highly functional as well. I would recommend Kitchen Factory to anyone who is seriously wanting to upgrade his/​her kitchen, etc. and is hoping to have it done right. Can it be done cheaper, sure… but you get what you pay for.

I just finished a remodel of my condo in Century City and Kitchen Factory did all of my cabinetry in my kitchen, bathroom and all of my built in closets. The quality of their products are top notch and my result is amazingly beautiful and better than I even could imagine. I worked with Shane and Earl who are extremely professional and know their stuff.
It can be very intimidating to committ and order custom cabinetry and they made it a pleasure. The installer they sent me was great and very willing to come any time at my convenience. All concerns were addressed and my calls were always answered.
My countertops were also done through Kitchen Factory and they finished off the look just beautifully. I now have my modern dream realized.
Don’t take my word for it, give them a try and you will not be sorry. I will be using them again for any cabinetry needs and will remain friends with all of the people that work there for certain as they are now my friends.

Read the contract and the details on your order carefully before signing. The Kitchen Factory DOES NOT INSTALL your kitchen or bathroom, they just sell things. And even though a «designer» comes to your home, Kitchen Factory not take responsibility for errors even if they made them, because once you sign «accept» it’s all on you to scrutinize and double check what the designer has written up.
I wanted a bathroom cabinet (vanity) to match an existing one purchased for another bathroom 6 months ago. The previous dealer was closing his business so I went on the mfg website and found The Kitchen Factory listed. A «designer» came out and I showed him the cabinet I had and explained I wanted this same one in the second bath, he took his measurements, wrote up an order and I approved it. Weeks later I was shocked when the delivery guys dropped a bunch of boxes on my driveway and took off, when I was expecting an installed job. Sure enough, the contract stated in the boilerplate that installation was not included, so this was my error in not catching that. But the reason I missed it was for two reasons, first the price of the vanity was already 25% higher than the original cabinet was WITH INSTALLATION INCLUDED so it never dawned on me that I would have to add another $ 700 for installation on top of that. And second, The Kitchen Factory never discussed installation with me, not a single time, and what kind of remodeling service omits these conversations? Cabinets need to be ordered, installed and various trades (plumber, electrical, etc) coordinated. How can a company call themselves remodeling experts but never discuss any of this? The designer gave me the number of a guy to demo the old vanity, which I asked for, but he never mentioned installing the new one.
Then another problem, the new vanity was 2″ deeper than the original one, and this made it look bulky and oversized for the room, and it bumped the cost up for the granite top as well (I was lucky the slab I had already purchased was wide enough). So the designer did not measure this correctly and I did not catch the error because I assumed he was matching the item as I had instructed him to do.
Anyway, if you are experienced with remodelling, know what you want, and can scrutinize the contracts, The Kitchen Factory may be fine, but for a novice like me no way…

We needed to re-​do our condo in Studio City in order to rent it out. At first we wanted to just remodel the kitchen so I called Kitchen Factory and Dennis came out to see the place. He immediately knew what to do and recommended we update the bathrooms too, which turned out to be a great idea.
He knew I was not interested in being involved on a day to day basis as I was busy in my job, so he said he would be a project manager and take care of everything for me. It was a great relief to me that he took over and suggested excellent and modern designs and I never had to worry about anything. He also helped me overcome an issue with the condo board when a neighbor complained about floor construction.
It was a pleasure to work with Dennis – he returned all my calls on time and made sure to try to complete all the work in a timely manner. The showroom is also very lovely and all the people I encountered there were very professional and helpful, although each designer works on his or her own with their own construction people. All the workers who worked on my condo were experienced and did good work. We would use Kitchen Factory again if we were remodeling and recommend them.

It’s unfair to see a bad review about my neighborhood business from a person who has never been there in person. I personally have worked with the Kitchen factory and have had a professional and good experience. The person who helped me (don’t remember her name) was knowledgeable, resourceful, patient… I was referred to the place by 2 of my own clients who had an outstanding experience and outcome

We recently remodeled our entire house and the best experience of all was the kitchen thanks to The Kitchen Factory.

I had a great experience with my kitchen remodel. The designer was very creative, she utilized the space well and it looks beautiful. The installers were polite and always on time. I would not hesitate to recommend the Kitchen Factory.

Although I only called to ask a few questions, and have never been in their showroom, my phone call told me plenty. The sales rep was extremely condescending and argued with everything single statement I made right down to the type of wood used in my cabinets. Mind you, I was standing in my kitchen and she was in the store yet still she knew my home better than me. Amazing!
