We offer one on one tutoring in the comfort of your own home. All of our tutors are NY or NJ State certified teachers. We offer Elementary tutoring (Reading, Writing, Math), Middle School/​High School (All Subjects), and Test Prep (SAT, SAT 2, NJASK, REGENTS). We offer tutoring in Rockland, Westchester, and Bergen County.

History

Established in 2012.

Teachers to the Rescue was created by two teachers whose passion for teaching extends well beyond the typical school day. Mr. L is a fourth grade classroom teacher and Ms. G is a High School Biology teacher. They have joined forces with many of their colleagues to help your student improve in an array of academic areas. Their mission: Rescue those students who need a little extra help.

Meet the Business Owner

Phil L.

Business Owner

Phil is currently a 4^th grade teacher in New Jersey. He graduated from SUNY Cortland with a degree in Elementary Education and also has a Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy from the College of New Rochelle. He is a certified educator in both NY and NJ in grades K-​6 and is also a certified reading teacher in NJ for grades K-​12. Phil has been working as a teacher and tutor for the past 7 years. Phil also enjoys sports and coaching. He has coached at many different levels and an array of sports. Currently he coaches Middle School Basketball and Golf at his school in New Jersey.
