Bill gave me a straight up quote over the phone (no hourly or hidden charges for the kitchen sink snaking I needed) and worked around my schedule to come fix the issue. He and his colleague were professional, respectful of my home and did a fantastic job, even fixing the water pressure on the faucet free of charge.

First time using this company. When I called, Bill was very professional and was able to come out within a few hours. When he arrived he immediately identified crappy craftsmanship from my new home builders (Ryan Homes). The pipe appeared to have already been damaged and repaired. He quickly corrected the problem and was able to explain it all clearly to me. There is still ongoing issues with the builder but I will definitely call them again if needed.

Called Bill on Christmas Eve when our lines backed up and our basement toilet began sputtering water from the floor. We were expecting to host the next day for 15 people and were unable to use any drains without it coming back into the basement.
Bill was on call but referred us to a few other plumbers. None were available, so Bill wrapped up his other projects and came by. After encountering a handful of obstacles, he finally was able to cut the pipe and get access to what he needed to see.
He cleared the roots that had grown into the pipe and, few days later, came back to install a new access pipe. He also used a video snake before clearing the remaining pipe in order to determine where the problem originated. Throughout the process, he was communicative and helpful.
It’s not too often you can say at one person saved Christmas!

Not sure how there reviews are so stellar, maybe only for simple fixes like clogged drains, fixture changes etc. this Co is better; unless these are friends and family commenters. I called and Mr. Taylor and I agreed on a $ 95 price to come to my home, open up the ceiling and find a leak which he stated would be under an hour to find after opening up the ceiling. He came arrived on time, looked at the ceiling, looked at the rooms above the ceiling, shook a toilet and stated that it could be that, but probably wasnt, but either way could be an issue later– charged $ 160 to seal/​wax around toilet, refused to remove any drywall to properly access where the leak was coming from, said his best guess was that it was an old leak. Since then (a week later) water has now grown from just a stain until yesterday actually dripping water out of the ceiling. If it were old and everything were dry when he left, would whatever he did cause the leak? Or was his accessment and refusal to open the ceiling as agreed upon just wrong? Either way when I called back he stated he would recharge the same fees to do the same job we agreed upon initially. The conversations with him though professional, felt like to began to be annoyed, aggresive, and condesending after my pressure for a real answer and for the drywall to be removed when he was there. And the toilet is now crooked… so a total waste of time and money. Dissapointed in these Unilocal reviews.

Wonderful experience. I called B&C because they had good reviews on Unilocal.As it turns out, Bill was great. He was fast, reasonably priced and amazingly professional and polite. It’s so refreshing to have a contractor who is not trying to take advantage of customers. I will definitely call him again next time I have an issue.

B&C Sewer and Drains is a lifesaver! I was cleaning my tub to prepare my house to rent the night before I had tenants scheduled to move in. However, I broke the lever in the tub to drain the water. And was left with a tub full of dirty water that would not drain. I called B&C Sewer and Drains approx 8AM the next day (clog occurred at 11PM on Thanksgiving) and was told that they could squeeze me in and be at my house between 9AM and 10AM. The plumber was on time and extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He was able to quickly identify the problem and had the parts in his vehicle to fix them. I also remembered two other issues I had been having with that tub and he was able to fix those issues as well. Also, I had installed a new shower head in the master bath that morning and forgot to buy teflon. The plumber had teflon applied it and re-​installed the shower head. Even though the plumber squeezed me in at the last minute and was likely in a time crunch, I feel that he did a thorough job and did not rush. He made time to explain what he was doing and what was causing the problems and how he was going to fix it. He was friendly and even had time for small talk. Bottom Line: B&C Sewer and Drains came through for me in a big way at the last minute and has great customer service.

Professional. On time. Reasonably priced — he took the time to give us a detailed breakdown of costs down to $ 1 (!) and kept to the original estimate. I appreciate that he took the time and paid attention to that level of detail. He takes his job seriously, works hard and gets the job done. What more can one want in a repairman? He will get my repeat business.

I recently contacted B&C Sewer to service my waste line pipe, which he located a crack in it. Mr. Taylor did an awesome job; no more leaks in the basement area. He and his staff were professional, timely and reasonably price. I highly recommend B&C Sewer. I will use their service again.

I’ve had Bill address a few issues around my house and he has been excellent by all accounts every time! He captured a video of my sewer line and identified a problem that he later submitted to the City of Rockville, and got this taken care of by the city for us! The quality of the video was fantastic and included clear commentary throughout the video that proved to be very helpful. He was very patient and explained everything clearly to me and even taught me to look out for a thing or two that I didn’t know about. I also had him redo some of the drain plumbing in the basement on a separate occasion and he was able to take care of everything very efficiently, and even took care of an unexpected problem without charging us any extra cost! The quality of Bill’s work is outstanding and we will continue to use him for all of our plumbing needs in the future!

We’ve been using B&C ever since we bought our house a couple years back (it came with some plumbing issues), and Bill has done an excellent job every time. From our shower to our kitchen sink, wherever there has been an issue, he’s fixed it, and the pricing is very reasonable.
Our biggest issue was our bathtub, which we learned from our neighbors the previous owners had plumbers come in and look at many times over the years and never really got fixed; the old owners even stopped using it, sticking with the shower in our other bathroom. Bill came in, found about four different issues and fixed them all up. Months later, when another, much smaller issue showed up with the tub, he came back and fixed it for free, saying it was under warranty. We didn’t expect that at all, and it definitely shows that he’s looking out for the people he does work for.
I would recommend B&C without hesitation.

Finally, a plumber that works! B&C was super friendly and fixed our clogged drain in one go, on budget. Good customer service, and would absolutely recommend and use again. Only reason not giving five starts is that they were about an hour and half late and had to move the originally scheduled appointment. However, they were good about following up and getting back to us. Minimum cost for a house visit is $ 200 for two-​hours work. Seemed steep to me, but in line with other prices in the area. But no hidden fees and team that came out was super professional and fixed the problem.

I meant to come back sooner, but I’ve been busy enjoying my running water! However, I wanted to say that Bill was exactly right in his estimation of when our water would start running again. We had water in about 2 hours after he left. I cannot recommend that you call Bill enough!!!

Spot on! My tenants had a leak and they needed a solution asap. I called and with in 2 hours Bill came through the property. He diagnosed the problem. Fixed it and we went about our day very quickly. Awesome guy. Great service and great work. I now have a reliable plumber.

This guy is so great! He finally fixed our plumbing problem which we had already spent over $ 1k trying to fix, and he was kind enough to work past his regular hours and not charge us extra. He is the most reasonably priced plumber in the area. I definitely recommend his services!

Called and left a message to set up an appointment and was called back a few minutes later. I had some questions and Bill was very knowledgable and happy to answer them.
Confirmed my appointment the day of. There was traffic but he texted me to let me know he’d be a few minutes behind because of it.
He arrived. Gave me a card and magnet. Put on shoe booties and we talked about what I needed done.
He also recommended some other items get completed and I went ahead a did most of them. i had more questions and he graciously answered them.
The work was done well and I haven’t had any issues with it.

This company is great! In particular Bill. After doing some research on Unilocal I discovered B&C. He had by far the best online reputation than all the other plumbers in the area. He was professional and transparent from the beginning. He was a few dollars more than some of the others but based on his Unilocal reviews alone I decided he was the one I wanted to do business with. It was well worth it. From his professionalism to having the peace of mind of knowing he does business the right way. He absolutely exceeded my expectations. Nothing good is cheap. And nothing cheap is good. You get what you pay for. If you need plumbing work in the DMV. Bill is your guy. I would highly recommend him and his services.

Highly Recommend! Bill is the ultimate professional! I gave B&C a call to fix a clogged drain connected to my washer. He came out the same day and fixed it. Upon arriving he explained the different scenarios that could be causing my problem and fixed it. Bill was super friendly and neat. He even cleaned up some of the dust that was left on my washer!
