Can not recomend this company rude staff they want to get paied in advance and they are much more expensive than other companies. Avoid them simple

I felt doubtful using someone new. Originally I asked for the inspector I had worked with previously, but he was not available for the date that worked for all the parties involved and the office suggested Anthony. In lieu of waiting until the following week, I booked the inspection.
All in all, a great home inspection experience. I definitely got my money’s worth. Anthony was on time (early actually), professional, and very thorough. He answered all my thousand questions with patience and solid knowledge. It was a 3 hour long process that ended at 6pm. The report and pictures (over 100) had been emailed by 10 pm that same evening. Thank you, Anthony. You did an awesome job.
The person that coordinates at the office was friendly and great to work with. She was understanding and prepared to deal with times and dates shifting and changing, as they often do.
I will use them again and would highly recommend.

We have used Mike Brooks to do an inspection on both a home and a condo that we were looking to purchase.
He was superb. Efficient. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Smart. Current with coding. Very reasonable with fees. Prompt. Everything you need your inspector to be.
He completes an extremely thorough inspection, takes photos of the details, types them up, and hands you the full report on a usb/​online. He goes over every little detail in layman’s terms and explains where he feels we should focus our concerns based on safety, structural support, investment, and proper coding.
My previous inspector, prior to Mike, was sweet, but not as organized and thorough. Mike has a specific order and doesn’t miss a beat. My husband and I are grateful.

Paid them for «professional» inspection. Didn’t happen. They missed things like you had to climb under kitchen sink and plug the garbage disposal into an extension cord to use it, that the built in dishwasher was illegally plugged into extension cord under sink as well, that there was no ground level plumbing access, and other important code violations. First time I used washer it backed up & flooded house. Within first 24 hours I found all these ILLEGAL code violations (and I am not inspector) and had $ 5000 bill for plumber as well as hundreds in electrical repair – just to bring up to code. (these are all things they missed, I take responsibility for accepting what they found). Numerous contacts by my realtor demanding they – at minimum – refund the inspection fee have gone unanswered (they protect themselves by contractually limiting liability to cost of inspection – no wonder!). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – you can walk through the house and find more than they do! Shouldn’t have to pay for all this AND the cost and hassle of taking them to small claims court.

I am in the middle of purchasing my first home, so I have been very nervous trying to learn as much as possible about the process, including the inspection. I was referred to Alliance by my realtor, and chose them after calling a few other places for comparison.
Alliance was able to schedule an appointment quickly for me, and work with my
schedule. Anthony did our inspection and he was amazing! I highly recommend him and will call him first if we ever need to go through this process again.
Anthony was reliable, thorough, patient, and provided excellent customer service. He was very careful during the inspection process and I immediately felt that I could trust his expertise. He provided a comprehensive report and went through it line by line with me making sure I understood every component and didn’t have any questions. He provided the report in a timely manner and I was impressed by the level of detail.
A few days later, I was looking over the report for a second time and came up with more questions that I hadn’t thought to ask initially. I called the office and they explained that Anthony was in the field, but they would have him call me as soon as possible. I am not kidding when I say he called no more than 2 minutes later! He answered my additional questions and clarified some points of confusion for me.
He was easy to work and I trust that he did the job well. Thanks for making this stressful process as simple as possible for me!

Note that this is my first time buying /​using an inspector so I have no frame of reference.
Here are the reasons for the five star ratings:
a) Reliable. The inspector came on time and performed all of the inspections as was previously detailed. He wrote the post-​inspection report right after the inspection and released it right after I gave their office my credit card information for payment.
b) Courteous and thoughtful. Offered to put towels down on the carpet where he was going to put the ladder.
c) Clarify and patience. Being a first time buyer I had a bunch of ignorant question. They were all addressed in satisfactory manner
d) Customer care. Two different people who I interacted with post inspection asked how the inspection went and seemed genuinely interested in my feedback. To me this was a good indicator of a company that truly trains its people in customer care.

Robert has recently inspected two condos for me. Thankfully, I avoided getting stuck with a money pit with the first one due to his thorough inspection. The second one was in much better shape, but he still uncovered several small fixes. He is prompt and delivers the full written report same day. He also thoroughly walks through all the issues at the end of the inspection and is able to explain what is important to fix and why.

As a seasoned realtor, I recommend Robert Gaudreault and Alliance Inpections 110%. Robert is knowledgeable and detail oriented. He’s especially patient with first time buyers when explaining potential repairs or even something that is apparently obvious. Very importantly, Robert is certified by ASHI, CREIA, MCI and has a construction degree from UCLA, which to me is a plus combining experience with education and certification. He arrives promptly at the designated appointment time and always has a great attitude. If as a realtor we could only chose one person to recommend, Robert would be my one & only choice.

Alliance is an easy company to work with that has great customer service. I have used them twice now and each time they have provided prompt and service on my requested timeline. Scheduling has been easy and reports are submitted promptly. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

Anthony does a thorough job. Afterwards, he goes through most of the issues (his report covers even more) & is really great at explaining the problems– what he suspects are quick fixes, or what he believes needs an expert to re-​evaluate. He prepped us well by estimating what he thought the cost to fix/​repair/​replace, cuz we had experts come in & pretty much no surprise with Anthony’s ballpark estimate. my husband & i learned a lot, to the point that we can pick up on a lot of issues right away when we step into a home. Plus, his report was ready that same day & very detailed.
I felt the pricing was fair. Had no issue with the company & actually liked how easy it was to call in the payment after the inspection & getting the report via email the same day

With a long winding housing search, I’ve used Alliance Inspections on multiple properties. I also have experience with another inspector /​inspection company, so this strong review comes out of fair comparison. Alliance does a great job and is very professional.
Robert specifically conducted a few inspections in the past year or so. He doesn’t hurry through his inspection process or hurry the Q&A time, as he reviews his findings in detail with you in person. He focuses on the high priority items, noting the potential financial impact. Despite the other negative reviews of Robert, I can confidently state that he is knowledgable, careful, and patient. I would happily recommend his services (and Alliance) to family and friends.

Mike at Alliance did the inspection on my townhouse in December and he was excellent — very thorough and personable. After the inspection he went through everything with me and gave me a thumb drive with the report on it. The report is well-​organized and has photographs of every item. I’m now referring to it as the seller has finally gotten back to me with their response to the repairs I requested. The office staff Kat and Cecelia are great too, always accessible and upbeat.

Mr. Gaudreault who was our inspector came highly recommended. In fact I paid the extra trip charge for him to come all the way from Studio City to inspect my soon to be condo in Newport. The home inspection report timing was okay since the distance may have been an issue. Later, I called him to ask some questions regarding the report since I had problems with our oven and dishwasher. After asking him if he was able to get the oven started because we had problems, Mr. Gaudreault became offended with my simple question and asked me what I was getting at? I told him, nothing, just wanted to know if he was able to get it started because I had problems and it wasn’t in the report. He stated it was in the report and now it was my problem and responsibility and later in his own words he stated «You don’t need to get the oven on to keep the house warm.» I’ve never been so treated so unprofessionally and his attitude was uncalled for. As a new homeowner, you pay for someone’s opinion and technically he should have worked on my behalf, but in this instance, I spent over $ 500 for unprofessionalism and lack of respect.
Mr. Gaudreault did recommend that our water heater wasn’t to code and had to be serviced. When we had a licensed plumber to evaluate the problem, the plumber in his own words stated that «the home inspector is an idiot and didn’t know what he is talking about.» It turned out that our water heater was to code and there was nothing we needed to do.
Please know that Mr. Gaudreault is one of a few owners. I found this out as I tried calling the office to complain and realize that I wasn’t going to get any where.
If you don’t mind humiliation, lack of professionalism, higher price, sloppy inspection, then Alliance Real Estate Inspections is your choice. I agree with N T., be careful if your inspection is with Robert.

The guys at Alliance helped us a lot with the purchase of our building. Two inspectors came out — it was clear they both really knew their stuff, though Robert answered all of our questions and spent a good deal of time with our realtor as well as going through the building so that she’d know how to deal with the seller’s side on repairs. Very professional report which they were able to give us on a flash drive right there at the end of the inspection. I appreciate the quick response on the short notice and all of Robert’s insights! We will be calling again for the next one!

Michael at Alliance is my favorite home inspector… ever! HAHA! Seriously, though. He’s crazy smart, knowledgeable, affable and many other good things.
I feel better making the purchase knowing that he he went through the house to the level that he did, and gave us a comprehensive inspection. Just an all around good guy.
I’ll definitely use him in the future.

I had Robert do my home inspection recently and it went perfectly!
He did a wonderful job and a very thorough inspection. He really took the time to handle all my questions and concerns at the end and didn’t seemed rushed at all.
There were a few things he couldn’t check, like the sprinkler system which was underground, however very understandable as he can’t go dig up someone’s yard. Also, certain things were blocked by furniture which he again, can’t move.
I couldn’t have been happier with the inspection! It was well worth it and Robert was amazing!

Do not waster your time with this lazy joker, Robert. I don’t know the other inspector.
For one, he has serious social issues, tells me that he doesn’t feel comfortable having the buyer with him as he inspects things… he rushed the inspection and looked for every single excuse to skip out on things to inspect… didn’t inspect the entire basement because «something» was in the way, didn’t inspect the attic because of another excuse.
And off course, his report was a joke and inconsistent with things identified during the inspection. To top it off, I found many things (i.e. wall about to fall, leaking toilet which had ruined the sub-​floor) that he had missed after the fact
To summarize: find somebody else!

Due to a string of bad luck with condos, I had to call Michael Brooks at Alliance Inspections for a second (different) inspection. The office offered me a discount for round two, which I really appreciated. Michael was just as great the second time around — showing up on time, performing a thorough inspection, doing a full walk through of the unit and equipment on the roof with me, and taking as much time as I needed to answer questions about the building and appliances. He is also great about answering follow up questions. Highly, highly recommended!
