Founded in 1926 by George Jacobson, the company was started on the principle of hard work at a fair price and jobs done the right way. The company soon became well-​known for quality workmanship in commercial construction of all types.

Meet the Business Owner

James G.

Business Owner

Jim Groesbeck is the owner, general contractor and civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in commercial construction. Jim personally makes sure that each job is planned and executed correctly, on time, in budget and to the client’s complete satisfaction. He oversees each job from start to finish.

Jim began in the construction trades while in college, working during summers for his father’s company in road construction. After graduating college with degrees in civil engineering and business, he started working in his father-in-law’s building construction business. He worked from the ground up, learning all aspects of construction and estimating. He bought the business in 1984. He is a third generation owner and has supervised and built many commercial buildings and done countless remodeling projects and additions.
